After having tried a few different nail salons in the North Dallas area, my wife finally found Angel at Bellagio. This young lady is such a perfectionist and really takes the time to ensure an excellent job. Upon my first visit, she showed me how some of the previous manicures I had were damaging my nails, and she took such care to explain to me every step of the process she was taking with me. Lastly, prices are very affordable when compared to other places for the level of service provided. Thank you, Angel! You are the best! read more

Under new management! I moved to the area at the end of May and started coming here in June. Amber always did my manicure with next gen and always did a great job, she was very meticulous and made sure I was happy with my nails. I think some time in September or October the management changed, as well as the staff. I called in one time asking for Amber and the person said she was on vacation, so I ended up going some where else. The second time I asked for Amber they said she wasn't there but they had someone else available for manicure. I hesitated but really needed a manicure so I went in. The guy at the front desk was different but I didn't question it. Rachel was the lady who did my nails and she was ok, she also waxed my eyebrows, did a decent job but was on the phone the WHOLE time. I think that is annoying and very rude. Another time I asked for Amber and again they said she wasn't there. Angel did my nails and she did a great job. There were a few "ouch" moments when she buffed part of my skin but my nails turned out great. Finally when I paid, I asked the gentleman if he's the manager. He said yes, so then I put the pieces together and figured out Amber didn't work here anymore. What I didn't like was that when I called, they could have told me Amber no longer worked here. Instead they made me think I just got the timing wrong. I understand they want to keep the clientele but they went about it the wrong way. read more

I've had my nails done here twice. First time was acrylic with gel. That's just what I knew. But. I arrive in Texas and it is all about NexGen. Something I've never even heard about in my Torrance, California nail salon. I have to say. It was a tedious process since they had to remove my acrylics and gel. Which they had done a month prior. (Yes!!! That's how long they lasted...)! However, I absolutely love, love, love my NexGen nails. My cosmetologist did an absolutely beautiful and thorough job. Make an appointment and go get your nails done! Level Up to NexGen!!! read more

I've come here on several occasions and it's been a pleasant experience each time. I never have a wait when I get there, which is helpful for me. I've been going to this salon for a few years. I used to rate them five stars but now I would give them zero if I could. The last few times I've been there I have been very disappointed. Not only has the quality gone way down but they now nickel and dime you do things that should be included. I was charged five bucks for "shape" but didn't get any of the speciality shapes. I'd understand being charged extra for coffin or stiletto, but square?!? It's the shape of the nail tip and takes no extra effort or time! Speaking of, they also charge you five bucks for the plastic tips now. I've been getting my nails done for 25 years and paying for the tips is a new thing. At the end of the service, my nails were an absolute mess. I had the product gluing my nails to the skin on the sides and under my nails. I had to ask them five times to clean them up and get the product off my fingers. They told me at first that it would come off in a few days. No. I'm not walking out of a salon with dirty hands. She cleaned them up but not very well. After the fourth time the manager came over and looked at my nails. He cleaned them up a bit too but there was still product where there should not have been. I asked if I could wash my hands but they didn't have any nail brushes. The manager had to go search for one. Even after washing them with the brush, they were still a mess of product. (The time before this, I had a normal manicure with just buffing. The tech didn't clean under my nails then either. That should be part of a manicure. The client shouldn't have to ask for the dirt to be removed from under the nails.)My nails were also very uneven and some were square and some were rounded. The pink powder looked very uneven and speckled, instead of smooth and even. The whites were also thicker on some nails and crooked as well. Within days, the whites were all cracked. They were lumpy and the thickness wasn't consistent nail to nail. I asked for a normal/classic pedicure. But the tech came out with a more expensive set up. She tried to push me into just having this set up and paying for it. I told her no. She left and came back with another set up, but still not the one I asked for. I ended up with a much more expensive pedicure than I asked for. If you go here, get ready to pay 10-20 more due to all the sneaky extras and also be careful they don't switch to more expensive services "accidentally". I will not be returning to this salon in the near future. read more

I hate writing bad reviews but I don't want you to waste your money like I did. My place was not able to fit me in so I came here for my pedicure. Let me just break it down for you. 1.They were completely empty and still rushed 2. My friends lady was rude and would scoff when asked to do more than the bare minimum 3. My guy was nice but he also did the bare minimum 4. burned my foot 5. Forgot about me in the chair to put my shoes on All I'm saying is if you want to relax, don't come here read more

I decided that I wanted to try a nail place. So of course I hopped on Yelp. Saw this company had 4 1/2 stars. They were so nice as I was a walk in so had to wait. Only like 5 minutes. I was given nail colors to decide on, and given a beverage of my choice. Everyone was so happy and nice. Very clean. I just loved the energy very welcoming!! I am going back to get a pedicure. So since I didn't finish my review last night it is Morning and so I am getting my pedicure which I picked the Heavenly and Twong is doing my nails. She has the sweetest spirit. Pics to follow. My friend and I were looking for a new salon and we found this one and are IN LOVE. The workers were so kind, We laughed and shared stories with the workers and other costumers. The atmosphere was extremely sanitary and comfortable, they took time to make sure everything was what we wanted. Amy and Amber rocked our world in the effort they put into our nails. They not only do good work, but have a good time. They do fun art/holiday art, general nails and so much more! (We drove 40 minutes and another lady drives an hour regularly) read more

I went in on a weekday evening for a gel pedicure. They were pretty quick and efficient but when she was trimming the sides of my big toes she went a little further than necessary. I actually said ouch as she yanked the piece of nail out. And again as she trimmed further. Not relaxing at all. It took a week to stop hurting. The gel was good. They also are changing names to La Vie Nails. read more

Excellent service. Got next gen nails, dip with design. They were upfront about what they can and can't do in terms of design. The technician did an awesome job with the design we selected. I was convinced to get a pedicure with gel which I hadn't planned on, and couldn't have been avoided spend but not much regret there. Within 3 days, my one finger got a crack and I rushed back to them for a fix coz of the pain and burning. They did the top layer of dip back promptly - free, the pain didn't go away immediately but was much better the next day - as they had said it would be. And yes, they had clicked my hand photos.. attached. read more

This is my 3rd time here! First two times were great! I got French nextgen all three times. I was just here two weeks ago and paid $45, today it was $55... I asked why? They went up $5 for French, okay, I get it. But now they said $5 to remove old power dip... wtf... had my nail done at many places and never paid this. I am new to Texas, and maybe it's a Texas thing? I dont know but sounds fishy. Hour and a half to do them and then charge to have what they put on a few weeks ago, taken off... no thanks! I have been coming to Bellagio nails for several years and always had five star service. What I witnessed today was a tragedy. The customer sitting next to me was very rude very demanding and insulted the nail technician. In fact she made her cry the nail technician did everything to try to correct a problem that the customer said she had. The nail technician kept asking her if they looked OK if she was happy and the customer would not reply. I think it was very unnecessary for that customer to leave them a bad review when like I said I witnessed the whole situation. I would recommend Bellagio nails to everybody their customer service is great their prices are great you can't go anywhere and get better service. read more

First thing to mention: Jennifer! The best!! She does amazing shaping to exactly what I wanted, and extremely neat and meticulous work. PERFECTION. She even showed me a sample on a piece of acrylic nail of what my color choice would look like on my own nails. Very sweet lady, and patient with all the silly questions I had. :) Also, the lady who helped me check-in (possibly manager/owner?) was so very welcoming, helpful, and kind. Excellent customer service! To give a bit of background, I had been a long-time and loyal customer of another nail salon, but due to my favorite technician moving away and leaving the salon, I was no longer happy with how my nail shaping or gel manicures were looking when done by other technicians at that salon. I googled and yelped nail salons close to home, and decided to go ahead and try Bellagio Nails. They offer gel manicures, but since I had never tried NexGen/dip...and my mother-in-law raves about dip, I figured to give it a try. I loveeeeeee the way NexGen/dip looks and feels, and it is not damaging! The process is very gentle on your own nails. When removing my old gel polish after letting it sit in the acetone/cotton/foil, she used a very soft drill head to gently remove it. I was very pleased with that, as my old salon would scrape it off very roughly and my nail would get heavily scratched up. I felt that my nail was very protected when Jennifer removed the gel polish. I used to think NexGen/dip would damage your own nails, but I don't think that's the case. It seems like they really try to protect your nail and not thin it down much at all. I loved that. The salon is very nice looking and has updated equipment. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5, is because I am not sure they sterilize the manicure tools between customers. The nail clipper used to trim my nails down, didn't seem like it was sterilized before using on me, or after using on me. The nail file was also very used, and they don't use the smaller disposable ones per person. The tool heads also didn't appear to be sterilized between customers. I am afraid of nail fungus and don't want to get it, and so I really hope that they can begin to at least clean the tool heads and clippers with alcohol or sterilize them, and to use small disposable nail files for each customer. I will be back, because I really love Jennifer's work, and how beautiful my nails look. The customer service is also wonderful. Great staff and management, and they make you feel comfortable! I just hope the management can update their sterilization process to prevent the spread of fungus and other bacteria. read more

Worst pedicure I've ever gotten. I paid the the majestic pedicure(wish I hadn't). There was supposed to be a full treatment along with an 18 minute massage. I went with a friend so we had an appointment. First, they started on her way before me. Then by the time they got to me the guy could've cared less. He didn't shape my toe nails, didn't file, nothing. He even left the calluses I have on my big toe. Sadly the massage was more like 5 minutes. Very upset and disappointed in this service. Also- makes it super awkward because they make a point to have your nail tech go to the front and accept the payment/tip. I obviously didn't give him a good one. read more

I got a pedicure yesterday. Theady did a great job with my callused heels. But, I do get self concious about being judged abiut my feet being so rough. She kept saying look, so much. Also, she did an aweful job on my painting of my toes. I M going to have to go somehwere else and get the oaint job redone. I have never had to go and get my toes repainted the day after they were done. She did not even get to the end of my nail. It is all rippley. I do not recomend this llace at all. read more

Awful! I was shocked when I went to pay and he said $200. I had the gal who did my daughters nail remove the "marble" paint from my nails. I stopped at this salon on the way home from a late appointment, as my normal salon was going to be closed by the time I got there. I arrived at 5:30 and left after 8. I wanted a pedi and nexgen. They did not do both at the same time and I was left waiting for a while. I asked for a special design for the start of school. They didn't seem like they were confident in doing the design, even though it was simple. I wanted an apple instead of a flower on my toe since it was the start of school. I also wanted a black squiggle on my ring finger similar to a crayon. The whole time I was there, they were speaking in their native language. This happens a lot of the time, however, this time, they were clearly talking about me as they would gather in a group and look over their shoulder at me while speaking. The cashier kept coming over and whispering to the lady that did my toes. The lady doing my nails just kept trying to get my mind off of what was happening. She made the comment, "people think we talk about them when we talk in Vietnamese." Oh yeah? You think? How about when they are looking over their shoulder at you while talking in their language? As the lady was working on my fingers, the pedi lady kept coming over and commenting on my jewelry, specifically my wedding ring. Finally, I was able to check out well after they closed. I was not exactly happy with the design but was ready to leave at this point. The pedi lady again came over to the cashier and began talking in her language and the cashier seemed to be confused about how to do what the pedi lady was asking her to do. I could see that she had scribbled $20 on the paper next to my pedi charge. $20 for an apple instead of a flower? Finally, the man that seemed to run the salon came over to see what all they were doing. He spoke to them in an angry voice, looked at my nails, continued talking angrily, then fixed everything they had been doing. I paid the normal $5 design fee plus an extra $2 for it being "special". The pedi lady just glared at me the whole time I was paying. Not sure what exactly I did..... All in all, I feel that the people that work here are not honest and I had a shady feeling the whole time. I can still see the lady's look and it's been two weeks. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because the young man was at least honest and fixed what was happening. PS, the nail design came off in three days as they had no idea how to do a design. Just be aware if you are in this shop. PSS. I did not post on the wrong business as I am looking at the business card given to me on the night I left. read more
