If I could give this 0 stars I would. First off, I walked in and one of the employees looked as if she was taking a nap on one of the pedicure chairs. Nobody greeted me. I had to say "excuse me!" To one of the employees for them to acknowledge I was there. I was only in to get my nexgen nails taken off so it wasn't a complicated service but the lady who did my nails acted like I just asked her to do so much. Secondly, she was SO rude and just kind of pushed each finger aside as she went to the next one. Oh and I saved the best part for last...once my nails were soaking, she started to clip her OWN TOES! Right in front of me! And I kid you not, one toe nail almost hit me. Not only is that SO disrespectful to do, it's NASTY! Then she preceded to touch my hands after and NOT wash her hands before she did!! So gross!! She didn't clean the clippers after she did her own feet so I'm sorry to whoever goes after me..this was the worst experience I've ever had and I will not be returning. For regular manicure or pedicure they are horrible. First is like they don't want to help you and then the do a really poorly job. They barely only pick in your cuticles, bites them with the cutting tool but they don't really remove or push back the whole thing. And then you can see it when you get the color. I was move around from chair to chair 3 times and I had to explain each of them what I want it. Chairs were nasty. Cans of abandoned or empty drinks everywhere.... They are really disorganized, no one is in charge of the lobby so any one just leave the client and go get the phone or say hi to incoming client. Sorry Avalon, it was my las time. I went in there for a classic mani/pedi with gel. Not only did the book say $10 extra for gel and a male worker told me $10 but she charged $20 extra at the end. I had to ask them to redo two of my nails and that's when they cut me multiple times with a regular nail file like it was an inconvenience and they were upset. The gel is also bumpy and uneven. To top it off, there were two women of color waiting for service before me and they took over an hour to finally acknowledge them. I walked back in there and did not get a refund or any sort of money back. HORRIBLE!!! read more

***Not COVID conscientious *** I am usually always satisfied with this salon, and the usual manager was not there, so I can't give it a poor rating. I was very disappointed to find several people with no masks on, and the person who Cindy left in charge was the main person not wearing her mask, and speaking loudly across the room, eating and not washing her hands before touching items, as well as speaking unmasked with several clients. I have a daughter with asthma and can't afford to be that careless. I did ask her to wear her mask while servicing me, and will not be back until after the pandemic, if ever. I was Abbie to get my nail fill and pedicure done at the same time. That is a huge plus because I'm always on the go and prefer to save time. The salon itself is beautiful and elegant. They were kind with great hospitality . In addition they cater to your needs. I was also offered water, tea, wine, and margarita..so why not take a glass of wine as I get pampered. I am relaxed! Used to be my favorite nail salon but there work has been going down hill. I'm looking at a new place.

Greeted immediately & asked for powder acrylic. Nail Tech did not use a brush to evenly apply acrylic powder. The shape is nice however the nails are bumpy and curved because she used a dip method. It is noticeable up close and upon feel. The acrylic is just so oddly applied. I was charge extra for Shape( coffin), length, and Powder acrylic so the price jumped from 35 to 50... She did not clip my natural nails before gluing on the nail extension and buffed them as well. A nail popped off the same week having them done & experiencing lifting the next week. It seems as the quality of products they use are cheap for the price I paid. I usually tip extremely well but only left $10 but only because the margaritas were good (reason for 3 stars). This experience was subpar at best. Take your money to Grand lux on Eldorado, they use great quality products, even acrylic application, no lifting for 3+ weeks & no nail pop offs. read more

Also I was disappointed in the "cleanup" or lack there of around my cuticles - I had to go back in and clean them up at home. Cindy was very accommodating and pleasant so that's a plus!! I'm saddened. This is my go to salon. I have walked out before because they are not requiring customers to keep their masks on. I'm here again today hoping my last stance made a difference and there's 3 women not wearing . As I'm walking out, because I truly like the girls here, I was caught by my tech and convinced me she would keep me at my 6 foot distance. That being said, I stayed this time. Even after one of her no mask wearers uses the chair next to me to dig in her purse while boisterously talking to her buddy across the salon leaving. I believe on purpose because she "knew" I called her for not wearing a masks. But won't be back because they don't require masks . Sadly as of right now I can not recommend them due to serving those who don't care for others by not wearing masks. And when brought to their attention... you get the "huh? Who? Where?" Dumb Act. Was recommended this salon by a client of mine.I am very picky and pretty loyal when I find a place I like. I walked in and they were able to take me right away which was great considering it was a holiday and the schools where closed for the day. I saw Nancy and will definitely be back to see her again. I was very specific with the shape and how much glitter I wanted showing and she listened.Which was really nice. When I can actually get a mani/pedi without waiting for (no joke) an hour and a half, they do great work. But I'm really getting tired of walking in and being told, "Oh, five more minutes, I promise!" for hours. I don't have time to be at the nail salon for 3 hours! I have kids, a job, and a life! I've given them multiple chances, and they're always apologetic when I have to wait (even midday on a weekday, SERIOUSLY?), but I'm getting really tired of it. Yesterday, I showed up and waited for over an hour. After about 45 minutes, they finally called me to a pedi chair. I sat there with my feet in the water for another 30+ minutes, watching them immediately start serving walk-ins who came in after me. I actually asked a couple of the walk-ins if they had appointments, just to make sure, and nope, no appointments. I finally just got out of the chair, dried my feet off, grabbed my purse and walked out. I'm not planning on going back, as much as I love the actual mani/pedis. Hire some more staff! Hate to post a bad review after all the other posts. . So I went to this place on Sunday afternoon for a mani/pedi. I didn't have an appointment so I expected a bit of a wait. They were super busy when I walked in but I was told to pick my polish and someone would be with me.. I pick my color and I'm seated in the pedicure chair. I sat there for at least 30-40 minutes before someone finally started on me. The pedicure was very nice..relaxing.. Massage was nice and the lady who took care of me was nice... But I was there for soooo long. As she was finishing up my pedicure she asked if I wanted someone else to do my manicure.. She asked but everyone else was too busy.. So she finished up and does my manicure. Once again it seemed like a good manicure. However the very next day I notice my polish on my hands was already starting to chip.. I was in the salon for about 2 1/2 hours and spent $62 ($52 + $10 tip).. My polish should not be chipped after only 1 day.. I was visiting the area or else I would have gone back. I'll be back in the area in a month to get married and will probably go elsewhere to get my nails done. read more
