If I could give this 0 stars I would. First off, I walked in and one of the employees looked as if she was taking a nap on one of the pedicure chairs. Nobody greeted me. I had to say "excuse me!" To one of the employees for them to acknowledge I was there. I was only in to get my nexgen nails taken off so it wasn't a complicated service but the lady who did my nails acted like I just asked her to do so much. Secondly, she was SO rude and just kind of pushed each finger aside as she went to the next one. Oh and I saved the best part for last...once my nails were soaking, she started to clip her OWN TOES! Right in front of me! And I kid you not, one toe nail almost hit me. Not only is that SO disrespectful to do, it's NASTY! Then she preceded to touch my hands after and NOT wash her hands before she did!! So gross!! She didn't clean the clippers after she did her own feet so I'm sorry to whoever goes after me..this was the worst experience I've ever had and I will not be returning. I also had to sneakily take a photo of her for proof that she was doing her own feet because nobody would believe me.

I went in there for a classic mani/pedi with gel. Not only did the book say $10 extra for gel and a male worker told me $10 but she charged $20 extra at the end. I had to ask them to redo two of my nails and that's when they cut me multiple times with a regular nail file like it was an inconvenience and they were upset. The gel is also bumpy and uneven. To top it off, there were two women of color waiting for service before me and they took over an hour to finally acknowledge them. I walked back in there and did not get a refund or any sort of money back. HORRIBLE!!!

I showed her a design I wanted and she stated she would attempt to do it, as she finished the design she stated I should just return to the salon I originally went and took another client. I left with 1 filed nail and 1 nail done differently instead of leaving my original set on and telling me from the beginning she couldn't do it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYBODY!

I've been there twice now and they have been great both times. Everyone was so nice and polite and they did a great job. This time I brought a photo and asked if they could do something different and Hannah stepped up and did an awesome job. Super happy with tbem. Make that 3 times- perfect every time

Greeted immediately & asked for powder acrylic. Nail Tech did not use a brush to evenly apply acrylic powder. The shape is nice however the nails are bumpy and curved because she used a dip method. It is noticeable up close and upon feel. The acrylic is just so oddly applied. I was charge extra for Shape( coffin), length, and Powder acrylic so the price jumped from 35 to 50... She did not clip my natural nails before gluing on the nail extension and buffed them as well. A nail popped off the same week having them done & experiencing lifting the next week. It seems as the quality of products they use are cheap for the price I paid. I usually tip extremely well but only left $10 but only because the margaritas were good (reason for 3 stars). This experience was subpar at best. Take your money to Grand lux on Eldorado, they use great quality products, even acrylic application, no lifting for 3+ weeks & no nail pop offs.

Cindy did my nails. I wanted them to be a little more narrow thin and natural looking. Also I was disappointed in the "cleanup" or lack there of around my cuticles - I had to go back in and clean them up at home. Cindy was very accommodating and pleasant so that's a plus!! The real star of the salon is Ven.. one of the best pedicures Ive received in my 32 years of living!! Let's not all book him at the same time now because he's all mine

It was mother-daughter evening for us tonight and I'm soooooooo glad we popped into Avalon Nail Spa!!! Nene & Jenny did fantastic work for us and were super sweet and polite! VERY clean and tidy atmosphere as well. They paid exception attention to detail with my cuticles and nails. We will definitely return regularly.

The guy filed my finger for so long that it started bleeding. Three different times. On three different fingers. I bled in three different spots. After he noticed my finger was bleeding he put some kinda alcohol solution on it (burned like a mf) and then batted my hand away. Anyways I don't really recommend. BEST NAIL SALON EVER! Never NOT had a stellar experience here! Everyone that works there - you cant go wrong. Beautiful work, nails hold up for 4 weeks or more and always kind and fun to go there. Cindy & Tina are my faves but EVERYONE does a fabulous job. They always remember me and its always a great escape read more

Love Avalon nail spa. Cindy took me in 45 minutes before close for Both a mani & pedi. Stayed to finish and completed both sets 10/10. Will be coming here forever everyone here is always so sweet. My mom, my grandma and I have alll been here. read more

I am so happy that Avalon is still here, I received consistent, good service and good results from my pedicures that I need to prevent ingrown toenails. Cindy is my favorite, but everyone welcomes me each time I come, they are friendly, and the service is excellent. Be sure to take advantage of their courtesy beverages, the margarita is to die from, but you are always made to feel comfortable here. read more

I went in there for a classic mani/pedi with gel. Not only did the book say $10 extra for gel and a male worker told me $10 but she charged $20 extra at the end. For regular manicure or pedicure they are horrible. First is like they don't want to help you and then the do a really poorly job. They barely only pick in your cuticles, bites them with the cutting tool but they don't really remove or push back the whole thing. And then you can see it when you get the color. I was move around from chair to chair 3 times and I had to explain each of them what I want it. Chairs were nasty. Cans of abandoned or empty drinks everywhere.... They are really disorganized, no one is in charge of the lobby so any one just leave the client and go get the phone or say hi to incoming client. Sorry Avalon, it was my las time. With so many nails salons I will try somebody else. read more

***Not COVID conscientious *** I am usually always satisfied with this salon, and the usual manager was not there, so I can't give it a poor rating. I was very disappointed to find several people with no masks on, and the person who Cindy left in charge was the main person not wearing her mask, and speaking loudly across the room, eating and not washing her hands before touching items, as well as speaking unmasked with several clients. I have a daughter with asthma and can't afford to be that careless. I did ask her to wear her mask while servicing me, and will not be back until after the pandemic, if ever. If she was sick, she could have easily infected the entire room. So disappointing... read more

I enjoyed my time at Avalon Nail Salon!!! I just relocated to Dallas and the hardest Part about relocation is seeking a great nail salon. Tiffany was great! I was Abbie to get my nail fill and pedicure done at the same time. That is a huge plus because I'm always on the go and prefer to save time. The salon itself is beautiful and elegant. They were kind with great hospitality . In addition they cater to your needs. I was also offered water, tea, wine, and margarita..so why not take a glass of wine as I get pampered. I am relaxed! This is will not be my last time here. I'm at peace and content! read more

Very unprofessional and they don't care about customers. They are very disrespectful, and do not value your time or value as a customer. They will performance half the service and when another customer walks in, they drop you and tend them. They cannot complete what you ordered. Customer beware. Very deceptive and in ethical. read more

I'm saddened. This is my go to salon. I have walked out before because they are not requiring customers to keep their masks on. I'm here again today hoping my last stance made a difference and there's 3 women not wearing . As I'm walking out, because I truly like the girls here, I was caught by my tech and convinced me she would keep me at my 6 foot distance. That being said, I stayed this time. Even after one of her no mask wearers uses the chair next to me to dig in her purse while boisterously talking to her buddy across the salon leaving. I believe on purpose because she "knew" I called her for not wearing a masks. But won't be back because they don't require masks . Sadly as of right now I can not recommend them due to serving those who don't care for others by not wearing masks. And when brought to their attention... you get the "huh? Who? Where?" Dumb Act. Then go right to the no masks wearing customer and get busy working their nails. It's all about the all mighty dollar here and no care for rules and state mandate. My vail about these girls was removed today. read more

Everytime I go to Avalon Nail Spa I am 110% satisfied. I live in Dallas and I have tried other nail salons closer to me but I am never as pleased with the results! With that being said I drive 45 minutes north to get my nails done just because of this salon! Also, I have never requested a nail tech because they are all great! read more

They do a great job here - I get dipped nails and pedicures with my mom and she enjoys herself. For a while I couldn't find a place that gave pedicures that were worth it but I really enjoy them here and they don't skimp on the massage. They are very nice and want you to be satisfied with their work. Cindy and the girls here are great, I'm glad I found a place to keep coming back to. read more

Was recommended this salon by a client of mine.I am very picky and pretty loyal when I find a place I like. I walked in and they were able to take me right away which was great considering it was a holiday and the schools where closed for the day. I showed the lady a picture from Pinterest and she nailed the look I wanted ! I also had a polish change to match my nails and I was happy with the outcome. I saw Nancy and will definitely be back to see her again. I was very specific with the shape and how much glitter I wanted showing and she listened.Which was really nice. She was easy to understand and didn't take forever to do my nails ,which I like. Relaxing and clean environment.Everyone was friendly and professional. The color section was decent and they had a good mix of services. As I was sitting there waiting for my toe polish to dry I saw many customers come in and they all seemed to know everyone which shows me they have loyal customers. read more

When I can actually get a mani/pedi without waiting for (no joke) an hour and a half, they do great work. But I'm really getting tired of walking in and being told, "Oh, five more minutes, I promise!" for hours. I don't have time to be at the nail salon for 3 hours! I have kids, a job, and a life! I've given them multiple chances, and they're always apologetic when I have to wait (even midday on a weekday, SERIOUSLY?), but I'm getting really tired of it. Yesterday, I showed up and waited for over an hour. After about 45 minutes, they finally called me to a pedi chair. I sat there with my feet in the water for another 30+ minutes, watching them immediately start serving walk-ins who came in after me. I actually asked a couple of the walk-ins if they had appointments, just to make sure, and nope, no appointments. I finally just got out of the chair, dried my feet off, grabbed my purse and walked out. I'm not planning on going back, as much as I love the actual mani/pedis. Hire some more staff! This is NOT good customer service. read more

HORRIBLE. Gel manicure, pedicure and tip $95. 4 days my finger nails look horrible. I go back in they offered to fix one. Horrible. And they lost my toe ring. I will never go back. Sad part is right around the corner from my house. HORRIBLE read more

Was needing a quick pedicure and I had seen this salon beside Neighborhood Market. Went in and had a wonderful experience. It was my first pedicure by a man and I gotta say...I like it better than when a woman does it. The massage was way better and my toes look amazing. This will definitely be my new go-to spot. Classic pedicure was $27. read more

Overall my experience has been good. The only issue is when you get a new technician like I did today. The massage during the pedicure was terrible. I could barely feel it. The picture I posted was right after the pedicure and you can't even tell they scrubbed them. read more

Hate to post a bad review after all the other posts. . So I went to this place on Sunday afternoon for a mani/pedi. I didn't have an appointment so I expected a bit of a wait. They were super busy when I walked in but I was told to pick my polish and someone would be with me.. I pick my color and I'm seated in the pedicure chair. I sat there for at least 30-40 minutes before someone finally started on me. The pedicure was very nice..relaxing.. Massage was nice and the lady who took care of me was nice... But I was there for soooo long. As she was finishing up my pedicure she asked if I wanted someone else to do my manicure.. She asked but everyone else was too busy.. So she finished up and does my manicure. Once again it seemed like a good manicure. However the very next day I notice my polish on my hands was already starting to chip.. I was in the salon for about 2 1/2 hours and spent $62 ($52 + $10 tip).. My polish should not be chipped after only 1 day.. I was visiting the area or else I would have gone back. I'll be back in the area in a month to get married and will probably go elsewhere to get my nails done. read more

There was no greeting. The employees were rude. Unprofessional because they seemed upset with me that I only tipped 20%. My daughters nextgen nails were filed down so short and crooked. The thumbnail extension isn't even glued on her nail. It's glued on her skin. They are streaked and have indents. Will not be back. Cannot recommend. read more

I want to like this place. They give good pedicures and they're pretty quick to get you seated. But every time I go in for a fill I'm always charged different amounts which I don't understand when I always get the same thing. I mentioned it to them but they seem to not care. read more

I've been here a few times now, and each time the service has been amazing, and the nail techs are capable of doing exactly what I ask for and go above and beyond. I was especially impressed with the way my coffin nails turned out, as they are usually much more difficult to perfect, but they were well worth the extra $5 and I know I'll get plenty of compliments on them. I loved that they let me take my time choosing my colors. I received a great 20 minute massage with my milk and honey pedicure. The salon uses disposable bags for the foot spas which keeps them more sanitary than the traditional foot spas. The entire place was clean and the ladies working were very nice.
