    Found this on Yelp while in Texas visiting my daughter. I love the shop. Very cute and decorated all girlie, lots of pink which I loved. Was greeted kindly. Offered complimentary snacks at their snack & drink bar. Even offered mimosa which at first I declined but then was told they are very good. They were!! Such a great idea putting orange juice in the ice cube and adding the champagne. Love it!! The gal who gave me my pedicure was wonderful!! Everyone who worked at this salon was nice and attentive to their customers. Plenty of parking at least in the weekday afternoon. The bathroom was clean as was the business. Definitely will become my nail salon when in Allen, TX. July gave me my Citrus pedicure and classic manicure. She was awesome!! Alex was the front desk gal and served me my Mimosas. Both ladies were kind!

    Broken nail after 10 days due to nail not being cured properly

    The first time I came here, I thought my nails looked great. However, within 10 days my builder gel nails started breaking in half. At my second appointment, another technician told me they likely didn't cure properly because the light used wasn't strong enough, leaving the nails soft. Not only did this cause them to break quickly, but improperly cured gel can also increase the risk of nail infections. They were fixed, but I wasn't offered any compensation for the original service. I also was not very happy with how my second set look but, I chalked it up to maybe they looked weird due to her having to fix three broken nail. At my most recent appointment, my technician was 15 minutes late and seemed rushed once her next client had arrived. I didn't like how my nails looked and another technician had to restart them. I only got builder gel with a French tip, yet the total was $80. My cuticles weren't cleaned and the underside of my nails wasn't addressed. Considering I didn't even get the technician I originally booked with, the price and experience were disappointing. Unfortunately, I won't be returning I always try to give salons the benefit of the doubt but leaving unhappy 3 times is ridiculous. Reply to owner. I appreciate your reply, but it doesn't change the fact that my nail tech was late and seemed rushed at the end because her next client had already arrived. I also tried to say something before the chrome was finished being applied that I wasn't liking how it looked, but she assured me it would look better after the top coat, which it didn't. I understand that the type of French tip I asked for requires more skill and time, but paying $80 and leaving with color on my skin and builder gel overflowing onto the sides of my nails isn't acceptable in my opinion. My biggest concern is that two appointments ago a nail tech didn't fully cure my gel, leaving my nails soft and susceptible to breakage and possible fungal infection. Then at my next appointment, I was charged extra for tips on three nails that broke due to that previous mistake.

    I just moved back into Allen and after visiting several other nail salons I decided to come back to Hi-End because of their customer service. They make each time I come feel special. They always make sure I'm happy with my service. I love Alex, her salon is on trend, she always has the best talent working for her and knows who you should see based on what service you're looking for. I won't go anywhere else!

    This is the best nail salon around! It's always decorated so cute for whatever season it is. Service is amazing and the nail techs are so talented. Free beverages offered (alcoholic & nonalcoholic). And an amazing variety of pedicures are available.

    I never write bad reviews but I really wanted to share this to help others and also to hopefully have the salon not let this happen again. I went for a manicure and spa pedicure. I never treat myself to this so I really needed a peaceful experience. This was not that. I had Lena for my nails and while she was lovely, she rushed me the entire time. Rushed me to pick my color. Rushed me to pick my services and tried to push me to upsell my pedicure service. Rushed my massage, basically non existent. Rushed the nail color, was a sloppy job. And cut one of my cuticles in the process so it bled. When I asked to fix the sloppy color job, she cut another cuticle and it bled profusely. So 2 bloody fingers which hurt tremendously. And then she asked if I had diabetes because she cut me. Totally unacceptable to gaslight a customer because you are rushed and cut them up because of it. My pedicure was fine, I didn't get the woman's name. I didn't get the nice massage my sister got for the same service but my toes look nice and no bloody parts. Compared my sister's experience, sitting right next to me, to mine - she had great massages and great people who didn't rush her. She left relaxed and happy and I left not relaxed and bloody. Not a great experience for me.

    Alex is the best! Rest assured, you are a valued customer. She and her staff will treat you like royalty. On top this, they are really talented and do a great job. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of life and get top quality services, I highly recommend. Worth every penny.

    Best nail place in town, they take their time to make sure you are taken care of they listen to what exactly you want. Very clean, the atmosphere is very relaxing always enjoy my time here. Love Everyone there

    I wanted builder gel and not dip nails. The owner did not try to pressure me or change my mind, and I appreciate her approach. I wanted French tips, and my nail tech, Min, worked hard to get them just right. I will be back here next time! The whole experience was lovely. The cute coffee & snack bar set up provided a fun ambiance. I love pink, and I was tickled to see little pops of pink pumpkins throughout the salon! Even the outside windows were hand painted with a clever saying and in a festive spooky style: "I'm a 'haunt' mess, but my nails are on point"

    My family and I had a great time at this nail salon. They were able to accommodate 5 of us on a same day reservation and they even went the extra mile to prepare us some cake and charcuterie! They made us cocktails which were delicious, and offered popcorn and hot cocoa too. As for the nails, 3 of us did Cateye which was executed beautifully. One of us also requested a French style with some nail art which also came out flawless! We were very impressed by the skills of the nail artists. Hana was my manicurist and she was awesome! They also gifted us little lotion gifts when we checked out as well! We are super happy with this nail salon and we are making plans to come back soon!

I asked her twice (last time right before Rona) and she couldn't tell me how many I had left, nor was she available due to weight loss surgery.     Just a heads up: I don't think she's in business anymore (at least not at this location on Austin)…read more I had scheduled two services online, received a confirmation, and showed up early for my appointment. But the door to the building was locked -- you have to go up the stairs in the back, there isn't another way in to the spa suites. I was standing out in the rain for a minute waiting for someone to let me in. Thankfully, one of the girls in one of the suites had just arrived and unlocked the door. What was interesting is that she was the first one there. Like she had to disarm the alarm and turn on all the lights in the waiting area. For a 10am wax appointment, I found this odd. Doesn't your wax have to heat up? I was trying to give Tonayia the benefit of the doubt....Lord knows emergencies happen. I waited nearly 20 minutes and tried calling Tonayia's 972 # that's on her confirmation email. It's the same # that's listed in her Yelp posting, too. What was weird was that the phone didn't ring. I just got a message stating that this number wasn't accepting phone calls. No way to leave a message. So I emailed her by responding to her confirmation to tell her I was leaving. At this point, I had been waiting over 20 minutes with zero communication. Again, I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt. I have a small business and I know things happen. But 2 1/2 days later, still no response to my email. There's nothing worse than when someone wastes your time. If she does go into business again, I'd highly suggest calling before you head to your appointment to make sure that she's really in the office. Fortunately, Peace Love Wax in Plano (who has a no tipping policy) was able to get me in the same day. I'd suggest going there instead.
