Wrote this as I was sitting there and the nail tech (Ana or Anna) is going so fast you'd think the place was on fire. There is currently no one waiting so you can't even excuse that they are trying to serve others. Still, you shouldn't rush your current client for another client if that was the case which it isn't. She is literally doing cuticles super fast and cut me. When I said Ow! She said Oh I got you? And just kept going very fast. Then proceeded to scrub my legs furiously and roughly like she's in a race. I came to relax and enjoy a pedicure not act like a race car at a track being serviced. I try really hard to find the positive but so far - no good. The place appears to be clean so that's a positive. We were offered a drink when we came in. However, she appeared to be irritated that I had gel that needed to be removed. Do they expect customers to come in ready for polish? If so, why am I paying for a pedicure. She ripped the foam toe separator off my feet instead of just taking them off and threw it down. Idk if she's having a bad day or what but she is coming off as angry at the world. Is this her personality? Either way, it's definitely not a pleasant experience. She finally redeemed herself a tiny bit with the massage. Still, extremely rough but at least I wasn't cut again. I've never experienced a pedicure like this in 20* years. I'm giving 2 stars because the place was clean and she offered a drink. Even though she raced through the polish - she did a good job. For that - 2 stars. I'm not confrontational so I didn't want to ask her what her problem was or report her behavior to the owner (unless she is the owner) but it was such bizarre behavior I couldn't believe it. I'd love for someone to tell me if this is typical behavior from her. As of now, I WILL NOT BE BACK! Updated my review to 1 star although I'd give zero stars if possible. My toe hurts where it's been cut and stings. She has zero business going fast with a cuticle cutter cutting people. Zero. read more

2 stars because the place appears clean. I don't get why the reviews are so high, maybe they didn't get Amy or maybe Amy was being lazy this day. I handpicked this place based on my Google search for highly rated nail salons in Allen... I requested a gel manicure. "Amy" started off by complaining constantly throughout the process, of course in Vietnamese, that my builder gel was taking too long to take off. Not my fault. Builder gel is indeed sturdier and takes extra time but she spent entirely way too long because she didn't know what it was. Her male coworker next to her had to explain what it was. Then charged $10 (for taking off 7 of 10 cause I had already took 3 off) without telling me. I'm Vietnamese so I understood every word and was just waiting on her to inform me. Really, it would have been quicker and without burning my left index finger with the drill, to soak them in acetone after filling the top coat off. How do I know? Cause I usually do it home so I would not have to pay for it but I was on vacation so there's that. The cuticle cleanup was subpar. Did not apply any cuticle softener or remover like her coworker did two work stations over. My cuticles still look ragged. The shaping was uneven but that's pretty common between all the places Ive been to. About 9 times out of 10, I need to reshape them myself. Lastly, her polish skills are way below expectations. The gel flooded into my cuticles and she spent too long trying to clean it up after it cured, so now my gel is lifting after one week. I showed my bf and asked him what's wrong with my nails? He quickly said they look uneven... I'm picky about my nails and I do not request do-overs, I just fix it myself. It cost me approx $45 + $5 tip (because I don't believe not tipping). read more

I had came to this place to get my nails before and I had a wonderful experience. Jinelle was my first tech and I loved my nails. I forgot what his name was the second time, but i also had a great experience with him. This third time around I had decided to get a gel pedi and dip nails with tips. My boyfriend had called June 5th for an appointment on June 15 at 6:30pm. When we arrived they did not even have us on the schedule and they also had us waiting at the pedi chair for 10-15 minutes before anyone helped. Eventually, A woman had done my pedi and she did a good job, other than not really giving a massage-- it was more of just a scrub. The other woman that did my nails was newer and this was an awful experience. After applying the tips, she had cut the length before I even told her how long I wanted it. On top of this, she cut me 4 times on my cuticles and made me bleed. I was trying to have a relaxing time but my 4 fingers were stinging the whole time. The ladies were very nice but cutting me four times is a little ridiculous. I have had mani/pedi services at this salon many times and have always been happy with the service. Great experience.

From the moment I worked into the store I did not like it. I should have gone to another store. There were two young ladies at the front desk and neither one greeted me. My nail technician did a very poor job at cleaning my toenails and my feet despite me telling him that the toenails did not look clean. Got the D'Vinci Pedicure $45 and I can do a better job at removing the callus and cleaning the toes than what he did. Took him like 10 seconds on each foot. I normally stay away from nail salons because I never leave satisfied. I will definitely not come back here and do not recommend this spot ; stay away . I do not mind paying for a service , but at least take time to do it right . When they see other customers walking in they want to rush . Take care of a costumer at the time and do a good job and you will have better business.Will not comeback here! Clean spot , but lack of costumer services and poor job execution. I have been coming to this salon for a few months now and all I can say is wow! I get my nails done quite frequently and they have always done an excellent job! The staff is always incredibly friendly and listen to exactly what you want. I have always had a great experience with every technician there. Today, Tom took care of me and he really blew me away. I did go on the day before Christmas Eve, so it was a bit busy. I got dipped nails with tips and I got a pedicure. The only thing I didn't like was at the end, I was left alone with no further instructions on if I needed to go or how long more I needed to wait. WARNING!!!! These people cut my wife more than once and caused her a severe infection. She left a yelp review prior to me. Go check it out. The place looks sanitary upon walking in. Don't be fooled. Thank goodness for medical insurance!!! The owner was extremely UNPROFESSIONAL and offered to only refund me half of the $91.60 but as you can see after an investigation and long dispute the bank fully refunded us, by giving us the other half!! Pictures don't lie. Hospital bills don't lie!!! And what his wife did to my wife was NOT okay!!!! The doctor said had the infection spread it could have cost her a toe!! I've been frequenting this place for about 4 months now and believe it's the best nail salon I've ever been to! Not only do they treat everyone well, they offer drinks.... literally... alcoholic drinks.... anything you want (they have a full bar) for free while you relax! They're very VERY talented and can do pretty much anything you want. I just went again yesterday and Eric did these awesome neon nails on me... it's all Dip, no painting! I'm still in shock at his creativity in pulling off what I wanted. The pedicures are awesome - even the basic comes with a 5 min massage and it feels heavenly. I live in Oklahoma but have found myself in this area of TX for one reason or another twice now (shopping) and have been to D'Vinci nails both times. Between me and my daughter we have seen 4 different nail techs and they were all INCREDIBLE. Like, absolutely top notch. At this last visit: I recently had acrylics and popped them all off after one of them fell off, so when I asked for a gel manicure, the girl did not have much to work with. In spite of that, she worked some magic and I left with my nails looking fantastic. My daughter has acrylics and she's very particular (doesn't like them too thick, wants them square but not too square, etc.) and they have been perfect both times. I actually like this nail salon because it is less than 5 mins from my home, they shape my nails the way I like, the service is usually fast, and my nails typically last 3 weeks or so. My 3 star rating is because the last two visits there, I was skipped over. The first time it didn't bother me but this last time, it was pretty obvious. I actually got up and left. I came in, signed in, and waited to serviced. A lady came in a few minutes after me and signed in as I did (so I assume no appt). She was taken to a chair before I was. We both waited at pedicure stations and someone started on her nails and toes. I waited about 10mins, then I decided to leave. I also love that they are pretty quick compared to other places. 11/19/2021: I've been here quite a few times never had a problem until today. i came in got sat down at a pedicure chair i had a gel polish change and i was getting my nails done. the gel polish change was fine until the nail lady filed my toenail way too short and crooked. the other nail guy came to fix it by putting a fake nail w acrylic which was very inconvenient. the guy who did my nails actually did a great job and that's the reason i leave 3 stars but my biggest problem was that when i was checked out i wasn't even told my total he grabbed my card w out telling me what i was charged for UNTIL i asked what i was charged. $60 for nails $30 for my gel change (even tho the last two times i've came it's been under $30..) the only reason i give 3 stars is because my nails came out decent. read more

Anna was perfect! She did my pedicure, manicure, and dip polish. Not once did I have to correct or ask her to add more to the corners because sometimes those edges are missed. It was relaxing and the mimosas were great! Great atmosphere and work! I've found my new place.... Second visit: Perfect summer color by angel. The main thing I am looking for in a pedicure is the massage and I always look at reviews. I would say this place is large and clean and they offer 2 complimentary drinks but as far as the massage went I would rate it as a rub not a massage. Probably won't go back. read more

A friend treated me to a mani-pedi here. I had a morning appointment and the salon was clean, about half full with customers. They offer water, soda, and hard liquor. I had a dip powder mani and regular pedi and everything came out really nice. The nail technicians spoke conversational English. Then I returned about a month later to have the polish removed. Although it was same salon, the atmosphere seemed different. I had different nail techs which was OK. The nail tech gave me a little bowl with a wet paper towel or napkin that was soaked in some kind of remover. None of the nail polish came off. She got frustrated and demanded to know what kind of manicure it was. Then she brought out another bowl for me to swish my nails in and the polish still didn't come off. Yet another bowl! Finally the polish started to come off. I was concerned that nothing she could do would get the polish off. She blamed the tech who put on the dip polish. I couldn't understand what she was saying. Then the pedi tech was doing a lousy job on my toenails. The pedi tech next to him reprimanded him in Vietnamese to do this or that. She said to me, "He has no patience!" Yikes! I got a toe infection from another salon and was worried about another one, but it finally came out OK. But the most uncomfortable thing was there were at least 3-4 men, one in his 30's, others 50's-60's, just hanging out in the salon. A couple of them planted themselves in salon chairs, spending time on their phones. Another 60-ish, scruffy dressed man wearing a knit cap, came out from the back of the salon, walked to the middle of the salon, staring (kinda leering) at all the customers and techs. It was enough for me to go find another nail place. Maybe those guys are silent owners in the business? But do they have to hang out in the salon. Just creepy. read more

HORRIBLE experience and I am suing this place for being unprofessional in cutting me and for being extremely unsanitary, especially during these times!!! The owners wife cut me all around cuticles and didn't even bother to clean me with alcohol or anything. I was bleeding and she kept going... so I pulled out my phone and recorded as she proceeded. My husband who works for The President in protection division contacted owner. The owner initially was polite and "apologetic" and offered a full refund and a free pedicure/manicure for "next time". Who would ever go back to where they were cut?!?! That's like going back to the same barber that gave you a horrible cut. Smh!! Anyway he never refunded us fully. After two weeks and added pressure he partially refunded. Lucky our bank DID fully refund me. This isn't about the money. It's the principal. Oh and yelp had me clean up my post because I was so mad when I initially posted that I didn't think about how I sounded... I do apologize for that. Have had a pedicure here twice so far. The first time I asked for a rose design and it did not come out like the picture but not bad. Though the woman was very rough and filed my skin several times. Second time they completely butchered the design I asked for and I had to have it removed and go with something extremely simple. Also the base coat isn't even completely covering my nails and one of my nails I had to file myself due to a jagged edge. Will not be going back. read more
