If you are in a rush and need your nails done quick, then I recommend them! But if you are looking for a regular nail place, I would look elsewhere.

After two nails on each hand were completed, I politely spoke up and apologized for not saying something sooner. Unfortunately, the nail technician responded in a very hostile manner, telling me, "You should've told me sooner," in a mean and dismissive tone. I understood her point and apologized again, simply asking if the French tips could be made a bit thinner. From that point on, her attitude became increasingly hostile. It was also very obvious that she was talking about me to the nail technician next to her, as they both looked over at me and my nails while speaking. This made me extremely uncomfortable, and I no longer felt at ease addressing any further concerns. She continued working on my nails, but her frustration was clearly reflected in the final result. My nails are uneven and not worth the amount I paid. A young woman I believe to be a supervisor came over and spoke to the technician, and it appeared she had already been informed of the situation, as she also looked closely at me and my nails. Due to how I was treated and the uncomfortable environment, I did not feel safe or comfortable speaking up to anyone at the salon. I am very upset not only with how my nails turned out, but also with how I was treated as a customer. I would not recommend this nail salon as a French tip full set is proved to be a complicated request.

I love this place--it truly is epic, their customer service. Every single one of them greet with a smile and offer me drinks and let my kids sit in massage chairs while they wait--eating/drinking all their candy & stuff LOL. I've been getting pedicures for years, but they aren't really satisfactory, until now! Laura, the one in charge, has trained the ladies well and they have an Aloe Vera Special. They put fresh Aloe Vera and Citrus fruits up & down my legs. Feels so good and stays so soft & nice after. Last time I went in, I was severely sunburned, and they treated my arms for it. I even left with a special bottle of oil to help with the sunburn, a gift from them. I really appreciate them and love the new Aloe Vera pedi package: aloe, fruits, scrub, oils, hot stones, hot towels, the works! I had been driving about 30 minutes away to get my nails done for the last few years because I just couldn't find a place locally that I liked. I did a walk in visit on a whim one day and I have been a regular ever since. Ms. Laura makes sure you are well taken care of, and I have gotten exactly what I ask for every time I have gone in. I try really hard to find the positive but so far - no good. The place appears to be clean so that's a positive. We were offered a drink when we came in. However, she appeared to be irritated that I had gel that needed to be removed. Do they expect customers to come in ready for polish? If so, why am I paying for a pedicure. She ripped the foam toe separator off my feet instead of just taking them off and threw it down. Idk if she's having a bad day or what but she is coming off as angry at the world. Is this her personality? Either way, it's definitely not a pleasant experience. She finally redeemed herself a tiny bit with the massage. Still, extremely rough but at least I wasn't cut again. I've never experienced a pedicure like this in 20* years. I'm giving 2 stars because the place was clean and she offered a drink. Even though she raced through the polish - she did a good job. For that - 2 stars. I'm not confrontational so I didn't want to ask her what her problem was or report her behavior to the owner (unless she is the owner) but it was such bizarre behavior I couldn't believe it. I'd love for someone to tell me if this is typical behavior from her. As of now, I WILL NOT BE BACK! Updated my review to 1 star although I'd give zero stars if possible. I handpicked this place based on my Google search for highly rated nail salons in Allen... I requested a gel manicure. "Amy" started off by complaining constantly throughout the process, of course in Vietnamese, that my builder gel was taking too long to take off. Not my fault. Builder gel is indeed sturdier and takes extra time but she spent entirely way too long because she didn't know what it was. Her male coworker next to her had to explain what it was. Then charged $10 (for taking off 7 of 10 cause I had already took 3 off) without telling me. I'm Vietnamese so I understood every word and was just waiting on her to inform me. Really, it would have been quicker and without burning my left index finger with the drill, to soak them in acetone after filling the top coat off. How do I know? Cause I usually do it home so I would not have to pay for it but I was on vacation so there's that. The cuticle cleanup was subpar. Did not apply any cuticle softener or remover like her coworker did two work stations over. My cuticles still look ragged. The shaping was uneven but that's pretty common between all the places Ive been to. About 9 times out of 10, I need to reshape them myself. Lastly, her polish skills are way below expectations. The gel flooded into my cuticles and she spent too long trying to clean it up after it cured, so now my gel is lifting after one week. I showed my bf and asked him what's wrong with my nails? He quickly said they look uneven... I'm picky about my nails and I do not request do-overs, I just fix it myself. It cost me approx $45 + $5 tip (because I don't believe not tipping).

At one point, two technicians were working on my hands simultaneously, which only added to the rushed and careless outcome. The nails are uneven, crooked, poorly shaped, and noticeably different lengths. Because my cuticles and fingers are so sore, I'm unable to have them corrected elsewhere. I was especially disappointed given that I paid over $130 for both services. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable for the price and level of care expected.
