For the gel pedi, I never have an issue, but for gel manis it's always sloppy. For dip powder it really just depends on what tech you get. For regular nail polish, it's also sloppy as well. I had a very unpleasant and painful experience here almost three months ago. I clearly told the…read morenail tech not to cut too much, I tell every nail tech the same thing, because my cuticles are thin and I bleed easily. He ended up cutting too much, exactly the opposite of what I told him. He then claimed I had an ingrown toenail and cut my skin, causing it to bleed. What he didn't know was that I don't get ingrown nails because I had surgery on my big toes when I was a teenager for ingrown nails. What concerned me most was how the bleeding was handled - the methods used were unsanitary and unsafe. He used a liquid from a bottle and placed the tip of the bottle directly onto my open cut to stop the bleeding, three times. This is the same bottle he uses on every customer to stop the bleeding, placing the tip directly on my cut instead of allowing it to drip on the wound or pouring on a cotton pad. This experience left me uncomfortable and worried about infection. I will not be returning and would caution others to speak up or choose a different place. I spoke to a manager at the end of my appointment and it did not look like she cared. I got 20% off my pedicure and was told she would follow-up with me to ensure I was okay but I never heard from anyone. It took almost six weeks for my cut to fully heal and I am so traumatized, I still have not received another pedicure. I do not recommend Johnnie or this establishment. FYI - soooo many positive reviews on google because they have a sign at the register that says if you leave us a 5 star review you will receive 100 points (I think 200 points = $10 off service or something similar)
