This is not the place It used to be. New management? New owner? Should've suspected when I walked in and it was practically empty. I got gel nails and they lifted within a week. Technician did not listen to the customer to follow up on request-actually rude to us and snippy. The prices have gone up service has gone down. Filled out a form stating I needed one nail repaired and wanted a new full set of acrylics after Christmas. Almost immediately, I got a response from Peter, saying I should come right now. Wow! Great customer service, so I went immediately. Kina was at the desk and took me to her station. She repaired my nail, we talked about the problems I was having with my nails lifting and my dissatisfaction with my acrylic nails. Let's just start off by saying, I rarely ever get my nails done, so when my friends asked me to go out for a little spa day to reconnect, I most certainly said, "YESSS!!" As I walked into the nail shop, it reminded me of when I used to be a nail technician back in high-school during the weekends. It made me miss my older sister who still runs a nail-shop of her own in another city. I chose to just get a gel manicure done, and was fortunate enough to get my nails taken care of by the nail shop owner! She was thorough, detail oriented, and did an exceptional job with my gel manicure as I was observing her work throughout this process. Somehow, our conversation went into finding out that her parents and my parents were the same ages! I know this next paragraph might not have any relation to do with the topic at hand, however, I felt that this part was important since it's something I could relate to as a Vietnamese-American woman who understands "the struggles." Not many people (especially the younger generation) know about the Vietnam war between the north and south. There were people being placed in concentration camps where they became P.O.W. (prisoner of war). My father was a P.O.W. for ~nine years just because he did NOT believe in communism. Search up the history of this war, if you're curious and want to be more familiar with it. Just hearing about the nail shop owner's past and what her family had to endure made me feel that much closer to her. Near the end, I learned that her nail shop provided discounts for children! If you're like me, I love hearing about all sorts of discounts! Heheh! I unfortunately forgot to let her know that she should have a written sign placed somewhere, so all her newer customers would know beforehand. Either way, I left with a super heartwarming experience, and would definitely recommend this place for any self-care purposes. read more

Literally just left this place. Disappointed. Decided to come here last minute with my daughter. I got a classic pedicure and a gel manicure while my daughter got a mani pedi. My daughters service ok. They charged $29 for her. She didn't even get a manicure. They basically did a polish change. She didn't even get to soak her hands in water. Ridiculous for $29. Other places charge less and does it better. As for my pedicure. It was a classic pedicure and they charged $34. It sucked. The girl, Na , did my pedicure. My feet was soaking while waiting for her but it wasn't a long wait. Maybe 5-10minutes. When she came out she proceed to remove the polish off my right feet and then continue to do the whole works on that one foot without soaking it back in the water (after removing the polish) she basically did this, remove polish, cut cuticles (she didn't even apply cuticle softener), pumice scrub (ON DRY HEEL THAT SHE NEVER SOAKED) and then the sugar scrub. Only AFTER the sugar scrub did she place my feet in water to rinse the sugar. $34 for classic mediocre pedicure is ridiculous. Classic else where at most maybe $28-$30. She didn't even do a good job at cleaning around the cuticles and there's still dry skin everywhere. My gel MANICURE (not DIP/NexGen) was $39. Wtf i have never paid that much for a gel manicure before. For Dip Gel, yes. Beside the price, she did an ok job with the gel manicure. Won't be coming back. read more

After much searching when my old nail salon closed down during COVID (yes, I've gone without nails for almost 3 years!!) I found this gem today! Kim and Trina were awesome!! They were friendly and easy to talk to through the whole service. My daughter's comment as we drove home was "I'd go back just to be friends with them!!" I'm a product oriented person- if I'm going to pay to have my nails done, I am thrilled to have new friends- but the nails better be excellent as well! They are!! Both Kim and Trina were meticulous- making sure every edge and stroke was perfect! My daughter showed Trina a picture of what she wanted and I swear you couldn't have told the picture from the end result-- PERFECT! Kim gave the best shoulder and neck massage with my manicure and my nails (just gel- I didn't get anything big this time) were exactly the right length and not too thick. Been here many times. It's going downhill. Today, for example, I had reservations for 2 at 130. I sat for 30 minutes waiting for assistance. The manager and owner ignored me. Then at 2 a totally incompetent girl started on my pedi. 40 minutes late she was still on the same foot. My partner was completed in 20 minutes. 45 minutes later one foot was still not complete. Kris did my nails once and they were amazing. She took her time and understood that I wanted to maintain my natural nail health. The next time, I went in for a gel pedicure and polish change on my nails. Kris wasn't available. I requested to soak my current polish off to avoid the drill. They let my nails soak for about 5 minutes before going to town with the nail filer. My pedicure and manicure (that I didn't ask for, but whatever) came out what seemed to be fine. However, the next day three of my toenails were chipping. So I went back up to the salon and requested they fix them. I've never felt more rushed in my life. The guy buffed down my current polish, slapped a coating of polish on my toes, and cured them for hardly 30 seconds. Then he rubbed them very lightly and sent me on about my way. However I noticed WET gel polish seeping out the sides, to my cuticle. He reassured me that it was fine. When I stepped outside, I added more pressure and sure enough the layer of polish came right off and revealed the wet, uncured gel polish. Went back inside, a kind lady fixed one toenail. Today, one week later it still looks fresh. But the other two toenails chipped back off and I have too much of a busy schedule to go to the nail shop 3x a week. All in all, I feel that some of the workers are lazy and rush their work and I won't be returning. I spent $80+ on a mani/pedi that didn't even last one week. 2 stars because they SEEMED nice and kind when I went in for it to get fixed. Never know what they're really saying though. read more

I feel so bad for this review because they were all so nice but I was so disappointed with my nails. I have pretty bad social anxiety so I couldn't bring myself to complain (even though I asked them a couple of times to fix some things as they were working on them). Even then, all the nails ended up a different size and thickness and were really tilted up on the nail bed even though I've never had that happen and they're straight. I feel awful but I had to come home and basically fix them myself (after paying like $60). Treated my dearest sister from another mister to manis and pedis while visiting her in her new Texan home on a Sunday afternoon. We were able to walk in without an appointment and were seated in the only two open chairs right away. We were promptly offered beverages while our feet started soaking. What a nightmare! Sitting here at the salon now and disgusted! I called this morning and they said they could do my sister, my mom, 2 kids, and myself at 1:30. We get here on time. I have previously came here before and had a great experience so i looked forward to bringing my family back. Then this guy just soaks all of our feet in cold water while we wait a loooong time. I waited 30 mins before they started on me. 50 mins later they start on my sister. Its been an hour now and they still haven't started on my mom or kids so my family is walking out! They constantly have an excuse that they dont have enough help! Well when i called and said we have 5 people, they should have admitted we have nobody here to do this! What an embarrassment! We came to do this as a family and are beyond upset that they cant be honest and upfront that they dont have the help to accommodate all of us! Ill never be back! My mom came to the area to have this time with us! It is not a cheap place and the treatment is horrific! Go elsewhere unless you have the entire day to waste your time!
