I told the nail tech I wanted to do the Aloe pedicure, but she kept urging me to do the jelly. She was pressuring me to do the more expensive option and I eventually settled for an orange pedicure. Came here today for a pedicure for the first time and they were great! I was one of 3 people in there so there was no wait. Very clean and bright, I really enjoyed the atmosphere. am less than pleased with my experience here. I paid for a dip manicure & pedicure with regular polish. The technician told me the first color I chose would not look good - tested it on an acrylic tip and I loved the color, but it was a little sheer. She recommended changing colors, so I asked for OPI Funny Bunny on my fingers and toes. Well, my fingers are true white. I asked if she grabbed the right color and she said yes, but someone next to me asked for funny bunny and their technician said they don't have it. Hmm? Overall, the shape and color of my nails are fine, but not what I asked for. Attached below is a photo of my funny bunny toes and my friends white toes - my nails are absolutely white, but was argued with and told they're not. My toes!! The technician was on her phone throughout my WHOLE pedicure. Used ONE hand to "massage" my legs/feet as she texted. She started to scrub my feet and I giggled and told her I'm very ticklish - heads up. She put the tool down and didn't scrub my feet anymore. I assumed she was giving me a break and would go back to it, nope! I was leaving and asked her to put the plastic toe thing between my toes, she said "you're good, thank you" I get out of the car (45 min drive home) and my toes are AWFUL. I was in the area running errands and thought I'd relax here for a bit, but it was complete opposite. I now will be paying a different salon to correct the work of lazy, unprofessional technicians. My friends technician also wasn't paying attention and flooded her pedicure, leaving our shoes wet when we left read more

Always five stars. The Place: Spacious with great massage seats and totally clean. The Staff: So nice, polite and more accommodating than any other place I've ever been. The Price: It gets a little pricey if you get higher priced experiences BUT totally WORTH IT!! This is by far one of the best nail salon experiences I've ever had. For my $50 pedicure I get a massage, I get oiled and wrapped and tons of warm towels, as well as exfoliated and generally well cared for. I got a gel manicure, which she did WHILE i was getting my pedicure which was so luxurious. Who can complain when all your extremities are getting pampered for a fair price. A must! I really wanted to enjoy my experience here but my pedicure, for lack of a better word, just felt aggressive. My nail technician trimmed my nails to the point where it hurt and although I voiced that to her she repeated the same technique on the other side. The massage portion of the pedicure was also uncomfortable as she was digging her nails in to my legs and feet. I've had multiple pedicures before and haven't experienced anything like this. I was pleased that I was able to request an appointment online and receive a prompt response. I arrived and realized appointments don't seem to matter as the very nice man asked me what I wanted and never checked that I made an appointment. My pedicure tech Sonny was rough and didn't listen. He cut my nails too short and then cut me with a nail file. i specifically said very little cutting but I guess it fell on deaf ears as he did what he wanted. My manicure tech was nice and did a decent job but wanted to rush me out and it caused a nail smear that she had to fix, Sonny seemed very concerned about me paying. I noticed he did the same thing with the girl he was helping when I got there. I thought it was because he was leaving for the day but after he checked me out he went back to work. It was aggressive for no reason and I will never go back for this and all the other reasons listed. My fiancé was gifted a pedicure for Father's Day and I picked this salon. My friend has been raving about this salon for some time so I figured this would be the one. We arrived we were walk in's and they had us in seated in massage chairs immediately. My fiancé had a Jelly pedicure done by Cindy. She was wonderful! the pedicure looks amazing and the foot massage was great. I got a Dip Manicure done by Karen! I was her last appointment of the day. I love my mani it's so simple but classy. My daughter had dip tips, and it was terrible. They were super thick, uneven, and one cracked hours after we got home. The nail tech also was extremely rough and my daughter's cuticles were terribly sore and some are peeling. We were charged extra for "coffin shape" but she didn't ask for coffin shape- she just asked for square edges, and was never told any fee would be added. AND the nail tech picked the wrong dip powder, and then when it was pointed out said it was fine (it was not fine). This is all extra disappointing because I had a pedicure and it was really good. I will likely go back for a pedicure, but my daughter won't and is now trying to decide if she needs to take the nails off because they still hurt. read more

Went in to get a dip manicure and regular pedi before my business trip, and it was an amazing experience. I came in around 6pm on a Tuesday and all the technicians were attending other clients so I did wait around 15-20 min, but I didn't mind at all since I sat in the massage chair and they ample amounts of tv to keep you occupied. They also offer you coffee, wine, water, and soda which is super nice. Zelda and holly were wonderful! Super friendly and sweet. Zelda did one of the BEST dip manicures I've ever gotten and Holly made my feet look good again and her attention to detail was phenomenal. Dip manicure was $35 and a basic pedi was $28 - very decent prices for the value they provide. Definitely will be coming back! read more

I've been coming to this nail salon for almost two years now, but I feel like their service is going down hill. I just got a pedicure and it was the worst experience I've had. The nail tech was extremely rough and even though I slightly complained, she continued her same technique. I was in a hurry for her to finish because it was such an unpleasant experience. In addition, she wet all my pants when rinsing the scrub off my legs. I understand accidents happen, but I feel that she got me wet because she was such in a hurry to move on to the next customer. Additionally, I don't understand why they started charging $5 to remove your nails if I got them done with them the last time around. It's obvious that removing the old dip is part of getting your nails done. It just seems as another way to increase their prices and it's getting ridiculous. I tried this place out because it was in the same center as my Pilates classes. The place was nice but my manicurist did a really poor job with my dips. She sanded the sides so much that she sanded the polish off and the tops were not smooth. She was willing to fix it but my the end my cuticles were bleeding and the polish was all over my hands. She tried to wipe the polish off my skin but when it didn't she said it would come off after I wash my hands a few times! I've never experienced a manicure so bad before. My nail beds literally hurt. Update: I did go back in and said this is not ok and the owner fixed them and refunded my money. So although my experience wasn't the greatest, I give this place three starts because he is running his business ethically. read more

Do not recommend Majestic Nail Bar- Plano, TX location. My daughter went to get her nails done (NexGen) and there several errors. I made an appt for the next day to get them fixed and for both of us to get a pedicure. Our appointments were at noon. We arrived, they found our appointment and quickly sat us in a chair. And we waited....and waited....and waited. They were not busy at all...:yet had not started even STARTED or acknowledged my presence again until 12:40pm. 40 minutes? Seriously? Again- they were not crowded and our appointments were scheduled in advance. Due to our day being busy - I had to reschedule. I will not give my money or business to a company that clearly doesn't care about timeliness or professionalism. I don't recommend Majestic Nail Bar in Plano. Also- my daughter has gotten NexGens for years- we usually go to Polo or InStyle. In addition to the errors we went to get fixed - 2 of her nails came off within 24 hours of initial service.
