Absolute worst experience I've ever had in my life with a nail salon. 0/10 do not recommend. I left in tears and with a dent in my wallet. I don't think everyone here is terrible or incompetent but the lady they put me with today definitely was. The lady doing my pedi completely ruined my toe nails, she kept digging and cutting into the nail bed despite me asking her to stop and telling her it hurt. One lady had to come by and stop her and show her how to cut nails, care for the cuticle, and file. Another had to come by and show her how to put on nail polish. She had me raise my feet and removed the towel from underneath my feet. She then proceeded to disappear for several minutes as I held my feet up, not wanting to lower them onto the exposed foot rest. When she finally reappeared I tried calling out to her several times and she completely ignored me. I just sat there holding my feet up. At the end, they really would have let me leave with jacked up nails had I not said something when the owner finally appeared. I know people noticed, several came by and made comments. They tried to intervene and show the lady what to do. The lady working on my nails kept looking at my feet and laughing. Then she would look at me and say "oh I'm just teasing her" The owner offered to fix my nails and apologized, she tried to fix them but how do you fix the fact that the lady dug way into the nail bed. The owner had to completely remove all of the nail polish and start over from cuticle removal, filing, bluffing, and then the nail polish. I called ahead to make sure there was availability, I got there at 8 and sat for 45 minutes before someone came to me. Every five minutes the lady would come and tell me just five minutes more. It is now 11pm and I'm still sitting here. You might read through this and ask why I didn't say anything in the first place, my big toe that she messed up was the first toe she worked on. And I tried several times to tell her that she was hurting me. A lady was simultaneously working on my hands and I looked away for just a few moments to answer a question from the lady who was doing my hands. By the time I looked back to my toes, damage was done. My 6 year old daughter could have done a better job. Never ever returning to this place. read more

Great variety of colors and services. Within the past few months, I've switched to gel for my pedi - color lasts so long with no chips. KIM, who provides multiple services including pedicures, manicures, and lash applications, consistently struggles with time management. Specifically, she overbooks appointments, resulting in significant delays, and frequently interrupted services to take personal phone calls, often leaving clients unattended. Despite my consistent punctuality and clear communication regarding my time constraints, particularly during my lunch hour, these issues have persisted. Yesterday I arrived to my appointment on time, hoping she'd be ready, but of course, she wasn't. KIM was in the middle of a pedicure, and she looked surprised and said my appointment was for tomorrow. I knew I had the right date; I would never book an appointment on a Friday, knowing it's her busiest day, and that her work would be rushed and half-done. The worst part was when she told me to come back in an hour so she could call her next client, make up some story, and try to reschedule them. That's when I figured she might have done the same thing to me. This was not the first time she has done this to me, but it is definitely the last time. It is unfortunate that after all these years of being a loyal customer, it's come to this, but KIM isn't the only one who does lashes in the DFW. I will be taking my business else. read more

I've been coming here a little over a year now and I usually have pretty good experiences. I get gel nails and everyone I've gone to does a pretty good job. I went on Wednesday to get gel nails and needless to say, I wasn't 100% satisfied. She never put the clear top coat on and some of my nails were somewhat crooked. The polish isn't as smooth as it usually is. The lady drilled my real nails and I told her it hurt and she kept going. The owner himself took the time out to do my nails today and I was very impressed with his professionalism and work. I've come to this nail salon a few times now having good experiences but the last time the woman that worked on my nails doing nexgen did not do a good job. She was rushing the entire time, I was in and out of there before some of the ladies who were there before me getting the same thing done. I asked the manicurist to do coffin nails, she did the shape on 1 nail, the rest square and tried to charge me $5 for the coffin shape. Did not pay that. Walked out very disappointed, the top coat was gone within 4 daI also feel like she purposely didn't do the dip close to my cuticles so I'd come back in sooner. Wonderful service, very inviting, clean and everything you want in a nail salon. I was in Plano for a meeting and was on a time crunch and needed my nails done. I was forced to cheat on my nail place in Grand Prairie. It was around 630 and the doors were right about to close. I caught the owner walking out with his son and asked if they could take just one more customer. He kindly said yes, put the music back on and offered me drink. He went to the back and to my bad judgement I frowned when a man walked out to do my nails (bad experiences in the past). I took a deep breath and just trusted. To my surprise Paul was absolutely incredible. He was precise, listened to me about how I liked my nails and carried a wonderful conversation. When I mean perfect nails, it has to be PERFECT. But today I got a lavender pedi and the guy severely grated down my heel on one foot that it became super painful because he made it raw. This nail salon has decent prices for basic services and a nice atmosphere, but my friend and I had terrible experiences with our nail techs on our first visit, and we will not be returning! We came in for mani/pedis. My friend's tech did a super high-pressure sales pitch on expensive pedicure upgrades that were $60+. When my friend chose a more reasonably priced pedicure, the tech was like "Ugh! Okay fine!" As my friend and I tried to catch up, all the techs around us chattered to one another so loudly that I could barely hear my friend and had to really focus to form a thought. At one point in my pedicure, I put my foot into the bath a little too fast completely by mistake and literally one drop of water splashed on the lady doing my pedicure. All our techs stopped what they were doing and glared at me as I immediately apologized. My pedicure tech shot me a death glare like I'd insulted her mother. Then she turned to my friend's tech and WENT OFF in her native language with a very loud, rude tone, which was unmistakably about me. They continued talking this way for a long time, even louder than before, as my friend and I tried to get back to our conversation. The techs purposefully drew attention to me, making me feel incredibly embarrassed over a mistake. I've been in the service industry, and sometimes customers break things, create a mess, etc., but that's part of the industry and you aren't supposed to make your customer feel stupid or embarrassed over it. Otherwise, it's not service at all! I have never felt more uncomfortable being a customer in my life. Bottom line: terrible attitudes, terrible service, terrible experience. Spend your money elsewhere. read more

I had a horrible color mistake from another salon and I stopped by to have them redone. The girl was great, suggested a color I love and made my nails look great! When I went back she even remembered me and asked how my interview went. So. Nice! But that's the only good thing that happened. The second visit was rushed and rough ( it was not the same sweet person as before) My nails look terrible and I did not get my money's worth. Sunday afternoon & I really wanted to like this place. Pros- Appears clean and attractive. Good location. Waxing- pretty good job. Greeting- greeted immediately and even tho they were busy, no waiting. Negatives- I got a full gel set. The tech got the gel all over my fingers, cuticles and knuckles. It is a mess with such a big glob of hardened gel on the tip of my finger that she tried to remove it with the drill bit and burned me. She was very rough. Then, she kept telling me to relax. Bit hard to relax with someone who is jerking your hands around and burning your fingers. Also, she did not give me a hand massage. But I just wanted out of there by this point. My full bill was $73. My original horrific nails were black tip powder acrylic I felt Like there was no way to save them and if you look at the picture it would be impossible so I asked her to just make them all black she told me she would do a fill (which I didn't need) for free but if I wanted black powder she would charge I thought that was a little bit crazy sense my nails were so bad they were embarrassing and I'd paid $40 for them why would I want to pay more money so I asked her to just paint them black which she agreed to do. I had been looking for a place that gives great massages and has great pedicure packages without paying an arm and a leg and I found it! Most places charge $50.00 or more for a basic pedicure for nothing! I was a walk-in today with no appointment. There was no wait time and I had enough time to pick out my color and relax before they started. The pedicure lasted for about 30 min or so and the majority of it was massaging my legs and feet. They did a great job making my feet smooth. I chose the Deluxe pedicure in the tropical scent. They also offer complimentary wine- which is a plus! The price was very reasonable for the area.
