She was meticulous with my nails and cuticles without nicking them. I really appreciated her checking with me every so often if I was happy with length and shape of my nails, and she had calm steady work ethic. I had read about them being cruelty free and decided to check them out, which turned out to be great experience. The salon is clean, and insta friendly. So I went back today and had the best pedicure I've ever had from the man that was working. He really took his time prepping my nails; I was very impressed! Although the pedicure was okay, I wish it would have been better. While filing my toenails, she barely touched them or shaped them. The callous removal was bare minimum. Now for my nails on my hand... I should have went with my first thought and just got the pedicure and that's it but I thought... why not? I definitely regret that now. I wanted acrylic nails but had heard so much about Gel-X nails and was curious. I asked the tech that was sitting next to us what the difference is between acrylic and Gel-X and she really couldn't tell me. Had she said that Gel-X is just clear press-on nails, I would have gotten acrylic like I wanted in the first place. Then she asks so do you want hand massage, cuticle's trimmed and cuticle oil? I'm thinking to myself, "Doesn't that usually come with the service" and that's what I said... she didn't respond. So the I give the picture to the young lady that I thought was going to do my nails. Told her that I wanted short almond shaped. She soaks my nails and trims my cuticles and then a guy sits down. This experience is NOTHING like any other time I've got my nails done. He's sizing every single nail, files them all individually and puts the glue on them. This is the exact same way you put on press-ons. Once he's done with the first hand, I show him that my thumb, index and middle fingers are all crooked and need to be fixed. He just nods his head and says, "I file". So I'm thinking there's a way that he's going to file them that will align them more with my fingers. NOPE! He finishes the second hand and begins to file the nails so they're even more crooked than before. I tell him again and nothing. I told him I wanted almond shaped. NOPE! Stiletto nails it is... SMH! He starts polishing them and the first coat is uber transparent. So I'm thinking the next coat will fix that. NOPE! Okay, maybe a third coat will fix it. NOPE! Ya'll see my nails. They're even more hideous than the pictures. I absolutely HATE THEM! I know I shouldn't have paid but I didn't want to be the angry black lady throwing a fit because I was ready to blow a gasket! DO NOT go to this place! This is why I stopped going to these salons and go to individuals who actually LISTEN when you ask for what you want!

They use great products and were so detailed with everything. You can tell they really take their time to make sure the nails look perfect. The whole experience felt very thoughtful, from the massages and hot towels to the polish application. The staff was extremely kind and even offered us tea, which made the visit feel extra relaxing. We waxed your chin so bad you left in pain, we're bleeding which we saw, and then we added Vaseline to try and help with healing, let's refund you. But yall are terrible. I bled and my chin was waxed in such a rush barely waiting 3 seconds between another application and rip off that it burned for 2 days. I asked if they had appointments and instead of saying they have one in 30 minutes they said I can come in now and get it done now. 2 people left because their services were half done and paused, and they rushed me leaving hair and then blaming needing to rush on why my chin was now raw. I want a full refund for this service and will contact the business. I now have scars on my chin and bumps. Terrible experience. They said they were rushing to help me- I never asked or pressured to be rushed. Helping me isn't ripping the skin off my chin and refusing to take accountability

I've come both times on a Saturday with no appointment and had no trouble getting in. Everyone is very friendly and accommodating, and my nails have turned out exactly how I ask both times. Tom has done both a manicure and pedicure for me and did such a fabulous job! Jenny did my pedicure today and was wonderful as well. They have every option of nails and designs you could think of and I loved that I got my mani and pedi done at the same time. I hate sitting for 2 hours to do each separately. They had said "the appointment aren't forsure and that they take walk ins as priority" so why are appointments advertised? Appointments should be prioritized first then if the client doesn't show in five take the walk in! But I guess not wasted my time my gas they tried to say the tech was finally ready as I was leaving but honestly I rather not do business with a place that doesn't care about peoples time.
