Last time trying acrylics here. It's convenient and they're very nice and clean. Whatever they use the product is cheap. Doesn't last chips off I've paid so much money to get my nails done here about three different times and each time it just seems overpriced and poorly done. The one time I had my nails done they looked fantastic and they started to chip and break within a week. I had to go back and have a female manager fix it but it just seems to be that the tips or the bond something isn't right. Like I am pretty irritated because of the amount that I've paid and they were pretty nonchalant about it so it seems to be happening a lot. This last time my manicure lasted one week and then all of it came off like rubber. This is similar quality to what I could get if I did my hands at home. The shaping was not great. The only time I've really had a good nails done here that looked great it was by a girl but like I said they were breaking and shipping and painful even within a week. I wouldn't go here ever again. read more

I got my nails done on Christmas Eve and was so excited that they were open so I would have festive nails for the holidays. The process was great per usual. The edges were a little messier than my previous visits. I have been here twice the last couple of months and have really enjoyed my services! I remember one technicians name, it was Chloe, and she was great. I told her my nails were brittle and cuticles bleed easily and she was very gentle and careful. I've heard everyone here is really good from someone that has been going here for a while. The worst nails I've gotten in a long time. Went for a pedicure and dip mani. Their color selection is VERY limited and basic. Not much of what's in and current. The owner had her daughter in the shop - adorable little girl but not only did she try to drink my drink (which I didn't make a big deal of because she's a child) but because they weren't really watching her, she came over and touched my toe while it was wet with polish. Again, totally understandable that she's curious, but why aren't you watching her?! My nails were not smooth and just overall a terrible job. Will never go back. I have no idea how/why their reviews are so high. read more

I got my nails done by Vivian and brought a friend with me. We both got nexgen and the entire time being there Vivian and the woman doing my friends nails were talking shit and making it very obvious. Which I don't care if you want to talk badly about me, but at least keep it to where it's not so obvious. That's just disrespectful, and unprofessional. My friends nails fell off within 4 days. My nails look terrible, the shape is oval when I asked for almond. And to top everything off I got the same nails I got in the previous weeks but was charged 15$ more? So I guess I paid $15 to be talked about badly. Idk I've referred multiple people here so it's just a slap in the face. read more

A beautiful nail salon with wonderful service. Each time I've gone, someone greets me at the front of the salon within seconds. The owner goes above and beyond to get you started as soon as possible. The longest I've ever had to wait as a walk-in was maybe 5 minutes. The staff here are always pleasant, always doing what they can to make your visit comfortable and relaxing. They have some of the most beautiful polish colors I've seen! And every time, no matter what color I get - I always get compliments from friends and coworkers. I'm always hesitant to try a new nail salons, especially this one cause they only had 17 reviews.. but I'm really glad I took the chance! I came in on a Thursday night, wanting Nexgen & they weren't busy. I was greeted immediately, and was given a drink option. The atmosphere of the salon is really relaxing and beautifully decorated. My nail tech was Holly, she was nice, and really great! I decided I wanted this nude color, and she was nice enough to do all 3 coats on my pinky finger so I could see how the color would truly look like after activated. And when the first color wasn't to my liking she was not rude about me wanting to change my color. I really appreciated how she took her time with my nails, being gentle, and asked me multiple times if they looked good & to my liking. I've had prior experiences at other salons where they would rush and don't even bother asking you your opinion.. so I'm really glad she cared enough to make sure my color, and the shape I wanted was everything I wanted! MOST PAINFUL PEDICURE EVER! I decided to try this place and what a bad decision! I ended up with raw spots and a cut toe from when "Leon" ripped and cut away a chunk of skin along the side of my toe. It bled bad n is now swollen and very sore. All 3 raw spots are also very sore. I didn't realize how bad the injuries were until I tried to walk to my car when leaving. OUCH!! This was supposed to be a pleasant experience while my husband took care of our new baby but instead it turned out to be terrible. My only recommendation for this place is that you don't go n risk shredded up feet and risk potential infection! read more

This is my third time getting my nails done here and every time they have come out perfect!! Three different people have done my nails and they are all equally as talented. I moved from Allen to Frisco and I still come to get my nails done here. I recommend it so much! I'm new to the area and tried a few salons before landing here. I pass by several between my house and this one, but it's so worth it! Vivian does my nails and has amazing quality every time. She's personable and shows extreme attention to detail. I won't ever go to another nail place! Now that I request Vivian specifically, I call and make an appointment. This is the place to go in West Allen. I've been going here for at least 2 years and it's always a great experience. The owner really cares about her customers and takes care of you. In the rare instances that there was a blip with my nexgen or pedicure, she's either offered to fix it right away (even walks around doing her own observations making sure things look good, and will mention it to the nail tech if she thinks anything looks off and not good quality, so they fix right there). The salon is huge and spread out so you don't feel like you're on top of other customers either. Also very sanitary. Highly recommend! read more

I first went to this nail salon because it was close to my house, but even after moving, this is still the only nail salon I go to. The owners are super nice, and every nail tech I've had has been skilled and kind. One time, I was running late and Chloe was able to finish my nexgen nails in ~25 minutes! And they looked great too! I was soooo impressed. Any time my friends want to get their nails done I recommend Luxe Nail Salon. I have almost never had to wait when I walk in, and they also offer a student discount! Anyone who's get their nails done frequently should know how it goes, you have to find your person, today I found mine! I've been getting nextgen done since it came out and feel like I'm pretty particular when it comes to matching my toes to my nails, the shape and the thickness so I'm not easy sell yall but I do think at each location you have to go through a few techs before changing salons bc not everyone is going to be a match for you! I've been going to the same girl for 3 years but after moving I had to find a new spot!. This location is new, clean and has tons of colors to choose from so I wasn't going to give up on them bc a few things were off... Ok how do I even start? I've waited until visiting them a handful of times to write this review. The owners are super nice and accommodating. This place puts Nail Boutique around the block to shame!! I always leave happy here! My nail tech Iris is the best and honestly I've only had one bad experience but I asked Iris to help fix it and she did. She is the best tech that I've ever been to and the reason why I keep coming back. The customer service is always consistent. Every time that I've gotten my nails done they last for a long time. My gel nails that I have right now have not chipped still and it's been 3 weeks!! I love that I found my nail place. I've recommended all of my family and friends to this salon! The nail tech was Mia and she seems to be new. My nails were not shaped right and they did not last even a week before I had lifting. They had little ridges and dips on top of the nail beds along with lifting. Luxe Nail Salon wasn't willing to redo my nails. They offered to redo them with a discount. read more

Just got a mani/pedi here and I felt so pampered. Linda and Laina made a great team and did a great job on my pedi and next gen. Linda even went so far as to try several colors out on her own nails for me to choose from. I was offered a drink and made to feel relaxed and not rushed. I will definitely be back in a few weeks for a refresh! read more

Mean and racist. Most of the ladies are only sweet to only to Caucasian people and they give colored people like myself zero customer service. Not even a smile. The lady doing my daughters nail told her in a nasty way to stop moving and to not keep looking at what she's doing. My daughter later told me she was mean and bent her thumb nail really hard that it hurt her. It was her first experience at a nail salon and I feel bad that they had such an unprofessional attitude towards us. The guy with glasses is very nice and friendly however. However I will not go back. read more

I've been here maybe 8 times now and it's still as amazing as the 1st time :D the owner is very polite and the workers that were helping me and my gf were great they took there time made sure everything was good I will recommend this place and keep recommending this place over and over its the best nail salon around Come on by and relax with. Great deep tissue massage very welcoming and the atmosphere is as peaceful and relaxing as always :). I was super stoked to try this place because this is my friend's favorite nail salon and we had a coupon for like $5 off gel polish. When we entered the salon looked pretty nice and everyone was super friendly. We were quickly seated and they came to do our nails. The girl who was doing my nails seemed really sweet and I really liked talking to her. Upon removing the dead skin near my nails (at least I think that's what she was doing) she peeled off skin from my thumb and middle finger. Immediately she put alcohol to clean the cut but my fingers would not stop bleeding. Over and over again she kept putting the alcohol and wiping the blood which hurt like heck. Eventually, she just covered both my fingers with cotton and then proceeded to start painting my nails. It took a while for them to finally stop bleeding. I wasn't planning on writing this place a Yelp review but my cuts, 4 days later, are now swollen and still hurt. Now that it is all dried up I can see that the lady peeled a large chunk of the skin off near my two fingers. I would post pictures but they look pretty gross. After all this, I thought it was just an accident that happens like in any nail salon every once in a while. I came on yelp to check the ratings, I saw that several other people had similar painful experiences. I think that's probably not a good sign. I usually like to come to nail salons to relax and enjoy getting my nails done. However, I did not have that experience at all and rather was tense the whole time because it was painful. read more

I came in here while I was visiting my brother from out of town. I had just gotten my nails done and one broke off while trying to get through airport security the night I arrived. They were able to take me in without an appointment, they did offer me something to drink and the place looks clean. That was as good as it got. The customer service was poor because they seemed exasperated to have to pull someone to fix one nail. The tech that worked with me did a horrible job - the nail she fixed looked nothing like the rest of my set - you could tell it was totally different. I needed the problem solved for the weekend so they did that but I went to my regular place as soon as I got back home. read more

Luxe used to be good, but no more. The service was halting and the "new owners" DON'T honor Luxe coupons. Luxe used to offer water, sodas, and wine, but have discontinued this amenity. Since they are on a mission to run off long-time customers, I will accommodate them and find a place that wants my business. I only hope Sprouts' business doesn't suffer due to this bad neighbor. read more

The customer service is great here! Jessie at the front goes out of her way to make a great experience. The inside is nice and new. My only complaint is how long my nails last from here. If I am going I get a nice manicure and pay over $30, I want it to last longer than 8 days. My last manicure here, my nail completely peeled off in 8 days and many corners of my nails had chipped. Not sure if they person rushed or if this is an overall problem here. I would only come back if they were offering a special. read more

She told me I should have booked with Rick if I expected a certain outcome. I didn't call to be lectured. I called to have an issue fixed. She refused a refund and only offered to redo the same service I didn't want. After years of frequenting the salon with no issues , I expected them to remove it and offer something I actually liked. Do not go here unless you are absolutely certain of what service you want and know you'll like it. Don't let them steer you into something else, even if they say, "Don't worry, we'll fix it." That was not true in my case. Go at your own risk. The owner does not value the over customer experience or satisfaction.

Then proceeded to scrub my legs furiously and roughly like she's in a race. I came to relax and enjoy a pedicure not act like a race car at a track being serviced. I try really hard to find the positive but so far - no good. The place appears to be clean so that's a positive. We were offered a drink when we came in. However, she appeared to be irritated that I had gel that needed to be removed. Do they expect customers to come in ready for polish? If so, why am I paying for a pedicure. She ripped the foam toe separator off my feet instead of just taking them off and threw it down. Idk if she's having a bad day or what but she is coming off as angry at the world. Is this her personality? Either way, it's definitely not a pleasant experience. She finally redeemed herself a tiny bit with the massage. Still, extremely rough but at least I wasn't cut again. I've never experienced a pedicure like this in 20* years. I'm giving 2 stars because the place was clean and she offered a drink. Even though she raced through the polish - she did a good job. For that - 2 stars. I'm not confrontational so I didn't want to ask her what her problem was or report her behavior to the owner (unless she is the owner) but it was such bizarre behavior I couldn't believe it. I'd love for someone to tell me if this is typical behavior from her. As of now, I WILL NOT BE BACK! Updated my review to 1 star although I'd give zero stars if possible. My toe hurts where it's been cut and stings. She has zero business going fast with a cuticle cutter cutting people. Zero.

Instead of a professional response, the front desk staff (Jesi) responded with an extremely rude, dismissive, and impatient attitude, saying they can't guarantee a 100% match. If that's the case, it should have been clearly communicated before the service--not after, and certainly not in such an unprofessional manner. I was only asking a basic question, not making a complaint. The way Jesi handled this was unacceptable and made it clear that customer concerns are not respected here. I will not be returning and would not recommend this place to anyone!
