I have never written a negative review. However, I need to do one now! I had a mani pedi last month. When I took off my fingernail polish. My. nail beds were two different colors where they scraped my nails. I had not watched her do my nails. i did not take my toe nail polish off till today. When I tried to take the polish off, my toe nails are horribly damaged and there is something on my nail that won't come off. I went today to ask if there was a special nail polish remover to take it off. I just wanted to sit down and get a cotton ball to take it off. They wanted to do a new pedi (I don't think it would have been free) I was respectful and quiet because I did not want the customers to hear me. They refused to help get the polish off. I have been here twice. Both times they did an okay job on my nails. My gel manicure that usually lasts 3-4 weeks lasted less than 2, but the design was really cute. But-- BOTH times, they overcharged me for services that are listed on their menu. The first time, she charged me $5 more and said it was an accident. She offered to give me a $5 gift card instead of refunding my credit card so she didn't get in trouble with her owners. I was feeling generous and said it was okay and mistakes happened and told her she could keep it as an extra tip on top of the tip I had already left and declined the gift card. Well, I came back AGAIN and they did the exact same thing and tried to offer me a gift card instead of refunding my money. I was pretty upset about this-- it seems like this is just their standard practice and they try to overcharge customers. I said no, and insisted on a refund and then a correct charge. They then ran my card again for the right amount and said they "didn't get" a voided charge receipt printout... I've had credit cards for over two decades, they always provide a void receipt for the client. As you can see, I'm pretty upset about what happened. Both times I've been here, and this has been the same issue. There are several other salons here that probably don't do this. read more

My mom and I tried this salon two weeks ago. The people were friendly but the quality of their work is poor. I can usually go 3-4 weeks at my regular places with the dip. Not the case here. I am unimpressed with this location. I came in for a manicure and pedicure. I made sure to make an appointment so I wouldn't have to wait. Apparently it doesn't matter because they make you wait anyway. I was put in a massage chair, the basin for my pedicure was filled and I was left to sit for 15 minutes. The water actually got cold. The nail tech finally came over to greet me and told me she was finishing with another customer. When she finally finished and came to work on my nails she seemed rushed. She didn't bother cleaning up my cuticles or anything. She took off my old nails and started on the new. Halfway through working on my nails she said she needed to go wax a customers eyebrows and would be back. Meanwhile my pedicure was going on and it was horrible. The menu says you get a massage with your pedicure. Mine was pretty much non existent. The only massage I got was maybe two minutes long while she was rubbing the sugar scrub into my legs. Total time there was an hour and a half. However my pedicure was only 30 minutes and my nails took 20. In addition, my nails started chipping after 4 days! I had to go somewhere else to have them fixed. Definitely not worth the money to come here. Clearly they are trying to turn people over quick in order to get more customers in. read more

From the moment I walked in, Sheena made sure that I felt welcomed and was quick to engage in conversation with me. She helped me pick a color from their portfolio of colors. Michael was my manicurist and GOD BLESS HIM... I wanted a gel manicure because that is what I usually get but it just wasn't working out with the consistency of the polish so he graciously redid my entire manicure with dip/Nexgen. I had never done dip powder directly on my nails but I LOVE how it looks. Not too thin, not too thick, and Sheena told him that it's really strong and durable. Lynn was my pedicure technician and she was AMAZING! Hands down, best service I've had. The lotions smelled fantastic and the massage was downright perfect. Absolutely recommend. Been going here for over 3 years. Yes prices increase but that's inflation and supply chain... I am a pedicure fiend and have been all over the metroplex searching for the quality, experience and ambiance. This is not your typical nail salon. The technicians are "family" oriented and truly care about you as a customer and your experience. I've known the sr manager for several years now. No turnovers, same specialists. I am obsessed with their jelly pedicure and the deep tissue leg massage that comes with the service. I am immune-compromised so am very selective. **Update** I went back on Saturday and again the staff was super nice. Kevin was my new tech that was going to fix my nails. He took one look at them and was shocked (that's what I wanted the first tech to do). He assured me he would be able to fix it and he did! My nails look human again. I did update the review to 4 stars. The reason not 5 is two things. First thing, I shouldn't have had to come back and have someone else do my nails in a way that they didn't look like Lee Press-on nails (seriously both my daughter and husband said the same thing). Second is that the quality or ability from 1 tech to the other shouldn't fluctuate THAT much. I completely understand if someone is new. Everyone has to start somewhere. But if that's the case, a senior tech should be checking on them and assisting when things start going wrong. I guarantee that if you do that, all your techs will get better. I got my gel nails done here on a slow day. The nail technicians were alright and took their time to do my nails but they just dont meet my expectations. I always prefer gel nails over dipping powder and it was done pretty bad.
