Beautiful spot on the beach! Friendly service, however, the ordering of cocktails is a bit tricky. You have to order using a QR code and then they deliver the drinks to you (even if you are sitting at the bar). So, if you go for a few drinks, you will have several charges as you cannot "open a tab". Also, if you want a simple drink (ie. vodka/soda) there isn't a way to order through the app and then a server will physically have to assist getting it ordered. Other than this, the place is awesome - food is amazing! I had the grilled chicken pesto sandwich and I literally can't stop thinking about it! Wine selection was on point! Not impressed. Pros: Tasty guacamole Beach view very relaxing after work (if you're not facing the homeless). Cons: We would've gone to the upstairs deck/bar but told it was closed; we eventually went up there to find it was never closed. Too much work having to order - took a good 20 minutes to get the QR code to work and place the order. For the prices I'd like table service. The fact that you must tip prior to any service being offered is shady. Our table was dirty, we had to ask the staff that was standing around to wipe it off for us. One staff member shrugged his shoulders and said, "no English" and walked away which was unbelievable. Had to ask for water and was pointed to a stack of plastic cups. Two happy hour dishes and a cocktail was over $30 + mandatory tip. The happy hour empanadas were not noted that they were spicy, and they were spicy! At first I was skeptical of this online ordering system and tipping before being served. But the service here and the quality of food has turned around. Plenty of staff always looking after you and ensuring you are comfortable. The view and the concept are great. No need to make a reservation. I really like this place. There is ample parking, and the restaurant is located literally on the sand. It's an open air or outdoor dining ambiance. The drinks are really good, and it's dog friendly, which I really like. The service is quick and friendly. You can order from the table or have the waiter will wait on you. The food is ok. My girlfriend has been wanting to try this place out. We decided to go given the nice views and the food seemed appealing. You're only allowed to order on your phone with an automatic 20% tip option. After 40 minutes past the time I ordered our food I flagged an employee down asking how long the food usually took to come out. He responded only 10 minutes and would check with the kitchen on the status of our order He got us free chips and guacamole and extra sodas. Which were flat to begin with. Our chicken and waffles came out in 5 minutes only to be even more disappointed. No flavor, no seasoning and worst of all the chicken wasn't fully cooked. Center was raw and stringy. Twice in one week- WHAAAATTTTT?!? Yup, that's how good this spot is! Stopped in Saturday afternoon with some friends for lunch- and what a wonderful surprise the vibe was. I'm just back from Portugal, and along the beaches there were many shipping container restaurants, so it brought me right back to vacation! The menu was also a great surprise with lots of world cuisine options (Korean style short ribs, French style mussels, shrimp taquitos and many many wonderful Spanish and Brazilian choices!). I ordered the mussels and a side of fries (or as vacation Stef would say- Moules frites). being from the North East, I have had INCREDIBLE mussels and have found it hard to get good ones out this way- but these were solid with only 1 mussel that refused to open (it's always such a bummer to get an order and a bunch don't open). My friend ordered the short rib croquettes which had great texture- crispy outside, creamy potatoes and tender beef inside. And did I mention they were the size of my fist! We also got an order of the shrimp taquitos and fried asparagus. The shrimp was good- tender with tail on for aesthetics, and while the asparagus was ok, it was not my favorite- some of them were tough and the breading was crumbling off. When I went the second time, my friend and I ordered some guac and chips, and Korea Short ribs, and to recapture my Portugal days, we shared a white Sangria. The guac was fresh w a nice kick from the onions and a little hot sauce on top. And the short ribs were pretty tasty- they are served w rice, so it's a nice little meal. Kamilah, our server (she was actually my server both times) was super friendly and attentive. The ordering process is again, very beach European: using your phone, you scan the code, enter your name, and the menu comes up. You choose what you want, pay and the server brings it out when it's ready. If you want to order more food, you do the process again. I think some generations/people might not be fond of this process, but I like the ease and speed, cause when you're hangry, sometimes you just can't wait for the server to come over. read more
