We popped into grab breakfast here since it was close to our hotel. The check in was slow especially since there were tables available. I have to say that they made up for the delay on our initial impression. When the waiter came to get our drink order, we told him that we needed to order right away because we were in a rush. Been wanting to try this place and during race weekend I met my friend there right next to the metro station. It was a little busy but my friend was already waiting for me. It's a nice open restaurant with a lot of seating and a covered patio outdoors. I kept my choice simple and had bacon and eggs and it was delicious. Fluffy eggs, plenty of bacon and crispy hash browns. The sourdough was good but I wished more butter was on them. My friend had the Ham, egg and cheese burrito which look well put together. I ordered a vanilla oat latte (10/10 and taste like it came from a local coffee shop), the sausage infused waffle (100/10), a side of fried chicken (9.5/10, so juicy and well seasoned) and the breakfast potatoes (would skip). This breakfast restaurant continues to be my go to when I'm visiting Long Beach. The food is very good, I had the Cajun breakfast scramble in. It may have been one of the best scrambles I've ever had and this is what I typically order when I go out to breakfast and I feel is the measure of a good breakfast restaurant. Plenty of seating, free parking close by which is a huge plus, near all the Long Beach convention center hotels and the service is exemplary.
