They even accommodated my indecision between two waffles, by making me a customized half/half waffle of my two choices! AMAZING!! (See pictures!) This review is solely for their new buffalo chicken sandwich. I was told that this was new in their menu. And since I haven't been back here in a while, I gave it a shot. Personally, I was not a big fan of it mainly because of the overpowering buffalo sauce. Mind you, I've had nothing but great experiences here before, just not wowed by this sandwich. I love the "crunch" of a fried chicken and it just got lost in this sandwich. By the time I had my sandwich since I had it to go, it was borderline soggy. The chicken was seasoned to perfection, juicy, flavorful, and honestly one of the best I've had in a long time. I'm still thinking about how good that chicken was... and it's been two days. Honestly I don't really get the hype. Don't get me wrong the service is good the workers are nice but overall the food looks so good but was disappointing both times i went. Wow this place is great! The food overall I'd give a 4/5, but the value brings this place up to a 5/5. The chicken tenders are pretty good, but nothing amazing. The waffle though was absolutely delicious, and one of the best waffles I've ever had. I would highly recommend the waffle! The pricing here is amazing. You can get 10 large chicken tenders for $28, whereas the same amount of chicken at other places would probably be $40-50. They have a parking lot on site and also plenty of street parking. They also have a lot of covered outdoor seating for large groups. Before heading out to Catalina Island, we decided to stop by Bruxie for quick bite. I've been to other Bruxie chains in LA & OC, but it was our first time at their LB location. I remember this was once Chronic Tacos and now Bruxie. The restaurant is small, and they've added an enclosed patio which is nice and clean...same with bathrooms. The parking lot is tiny, but you can park on the street and across the street at Vons. We enjoyed chicken and waffles that we ordered. The chicken was crisp and tender, waffle was on point. The Long Beach location has a very cute art on their wall that screams Long Beach. I love it. The interior is super cute and spacious. Since the patio is covered, it's great for the pup too! I finally had the opportunity to check out Bruxie. They have been opened for 2 yrs now and my mom and I had lunch here. The guy who took our order was kind enough to let us know what they are known for. I ordered their grilled chicken ranch sandwich with waffle fries and a lemonade drink. My mom ordered their chicken and waffle with homemade slaw and a drink. I must say the food is freshly made. I can even tell that the slaw was not pre packaged that was freshly made too. They have games ( uno and connect four) available to play while you wait or while eating and its also pet friendly (I noticed a water bowl) we sat in the patio area because they were getting ready to do some maintenance work and they didn't want to disturb our eating experience.
