Garlic Parmesan 20 WINGS
Christopher J.

I ordered wings to get delivered and love my wings extra crispy and all flats. This place's wings are DELICIOUS. I got exactly what I ordered and it was delivered by DoorDash so quick. I'm thoroughly pleased and plan on ordering again next time I'm in town.

DONT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! Austin (helped me again ) This is the second time I come to this location and the customer service was horrible. I got a burned burger COLD BUN & a lettuce from the other guy with dirty gloves touching mops. To top it off didn't even get to eat my lunch so going back to work on an empty stomach and into a long shift

ORIGINAL CHICKEN SANDWICH with FRIES

Was walking around 2ND & PCH and got caught with the name of this place-- Fire Wings. Yum!!! We were starving and wings sounded like the perfect meal. My girlfriend and I ordered a 20 pc wing for us to share and my hungry self added in a delicious chicken sandwich with fries as well! The fries were crisp, thick, and delicious!!! A good amount was given and I didn't even get to finish it all. The chicken sandwich was so delicious and scrumptious. For the wings we picked 3 flavors: original buffalo (a classic), bbq, and dragon (sweet and tangy). They were tossed wonderfully in the sauce and fried to perfection. I enjoyed every single wing and we ate as much as we could to our heart's content!!! The lady that took our order was also super friendly and helped answer our questions initially on how the flavors tasted-- also, there is 21 different wing flavors on the menu!!! Amazing!! Had such a great experience here and we were opting for dinner later that night, but ended up being so full we didn't need dinner anymore. It was quite calm inside while we sat and ate and it was definitely needed from our hectic day.

Some fire wings and some fire fries and some fire veggies

This place literally explains itself... Fire Wings! Coming in, I expected the wings to be okay and be compared to Wingstop or Buffalo Wild Wings, but after trying it, I think it's waaay better. The wings come unbattered, and in my opinion makes the wings juicier compared to being battered. They have an abundant amount of flavors with both wet and dry rub. I tried the lemon pepper (bomb), original Buffalo (bomb), and the Saigon street (bomb), and they were all very good. The wings are crispy and juicy. I also tried the garlic fries and they hit the spot. The fries are crinkle cut fries and are soft and crispy. I definitely recommend getting the fries to pair with the wings. This place also has a good amount of beers on tap. This place is located in 2nd and PCH so you're surrounded by great stores and food spots. The restaurant is nice and clean, and the reason that I'm giving this place 5 stars instead of 4 is the excellent customer service. It's a fast casual type of restaurant so you order at the register, then they bring the food to your table, but the workers come around and check up on you and make sure that everything is good.

This place is solid when it comes to flavors and even with wings that are crispy. They have a big selection of food ranging from different flavors and side dishes you can add like garlic noodles. The service was very fast and the cashier was very nice about large order so I think the service was amazing. It was late at night so it wasn't as packed as usual. I overall liked the vibe and how consistent the wings were with each flavor.

I likeeeed it so much haha maybe too salty on the dry rub but thats ok. It needs to be a little bit spicier tho. Service was nice. The place was clean and well lit.

Fresh and delicious. Located inside 2nd & PCH downstairs across from Shake Shack. Came here during the weekday for lunch. Restaurant was clean and was pretty quiet, maybe saw 1-2 ppl while I was eating there. Asked the lady for recommendations, and she was so nice. Ordered the 6 wing combo ( Thai chili). Food was hot and fresh. Wings were crunchy, great flavor, and not spicy. Fries were so good - seasoned well and crunchy. I would definitely get that again.

When you hit a wing place you expect wing greatness, or at least as good as Wing Stop. Sadly not the case here. The sauces were pretty good but the wings were rubbery and not cooked properly in my opion. The skin was not crispy and something just seemed off about their wings. They were expensive too. I gave them two visits before rendering this judgement. Decent beer selection but did not see much local beer action which is a miss to me. Poor beer selection curation, why? I was not really very favorably impressed and I predict they are gone within a year unless they up their game.

NASHVILLE HOT CHICKEN SANDWICH - super fire

Pretty decent wings n things. They have a good selection of drafts to wash it all down too. Here's what I got: Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich (4): This was good but not great. The bun was just okay and the chicken didn't really fit the bun (could've been bigger). The coleslaw was great however. Added a great contrast. And the chicken itself was pretty good. I got the Super Fire spice level which is one down from their hottest. Honestly I didn't think it was that spicy. I should've went for the Super Hot Fire. Tater Tots (5): Super crispy! Like almost too much. Like Extra well done. But I actually like that. So these were fantastic for me. They have a great draft selection to wash it all down and their one girl behind the register was super friendly and helpful. I'll definitely come back and try more of their flavors and wings.

Our order consisted of four SoCal fries (which are basically buffalo fries from The Buffalo Spot with a drizzle of cheese and ranch), a 10-piece nugget, a small fry, a large order of mozzarella sticks, a Thai tea, and a few sides of sauces. To speak bluntly, the experience turned sour for me as soon as I started placing my phone order. While I was ordering sauces, I was rudely cut off by the man working: "Yeah, yeah, anything else?" I felt like I was being rushed off the phone, even after mentioning it was my first time ordering and kindly asking questions about their sauces. The customer service here just overall gave me the ick. Anyways, onto the food. I was super excited for my SoCal fries. They have a variety of sauces to choose from, and I opted for the spicy BBQ. On first impression I was surprised with the generous portions. I ordered a small Socal fries that looked more like a medium. As soon as I dug into my meal, I was met with immediate disappointment; the popcorn chicken on my SoCal fries was extremely stale. It tasted as if they served us three-day-old fried chicken that had been left sitting out. My siblings and mom also agreed the chicken was super hard. I ended up just eating some of the fries and threw the rest away. Before tossing it, I tried drenching the fries in their Cajun sauce (which is over $1 per sauce, btw), and even though I really wanted to like it, it had a weird aftertaste. On top of that, I just couldn't get past how hard the chicken was. The Thai tea, fries, and mozzarella sticks were just decent. I'd also like to mention that when I was placing my order over the phone, the man said my total was $67 and some change. When I paid in person, the total somehow jumped to $83.69. I assumed that included the Cajun sauces I ordered over the phone, but it actually didn't. I ended up paying a second transaction for the sauces, which was around $8. Had I possibly been charged for the side of attitude I was also served? To reiterate: the service here sucks. Overall, I won't be back as the quality doesn't match prices. You'd think that a joint that specializes in fried chicken and wings would serve fresh chicken but on the contrary, my chicken was inedible, gross, and clearly old. I love supporting local businesses, but I refuse to support a place that exhibits rude customer service and serves subpar frozen food that I could throw together at home. I don't recommend this spot as there are much better establishments in the area.

I was missing a fish fillet, my shrimp was cold, my chicken was burnt but still ice cold, and my fries were so burnt that they were almost black and orange. To top it all off, the restaurant had the audacity to place a balled-up napkin at the bottom of my fries, as if it were supposed to make them look full. This experience was absolutely appalling and I highly do not recommend this restaurant under any circumstances.

The interior is no frills, which means they prioritize focus on the food. I got the 2-3 peeps, which includes 16 wings and a large side. I will warn you that the buffalos is a bit spicier than expected, and tasted a bit different than what I had at their Smorgasburg booth. Nonetheless, I loved my meal. Overall, I love Shlap Muan's chicken wings. Service was also A+. I'll definitely be back

The standout items were definitely the Spicy Cambodian Dirt wings and the garlic noodles. The wings were crispy and flavorful, tasting like a mild lemon pepper without being too overpowering. The spice level was mild, but I'd definitely come back for them. The Dirty Elvis wings reminded me of an Asian-style BBQ sauce, kind of like an Asian zing. If you enjoy sweet BBQ flavors, you'll like these. The garlic noodles were amazing, full of flavor and just the right portion size. Service was quick, and the staff was friendly. The restaurant has a good number of tables, so we were able to enjoy our food there comfortably. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely return.

Our group of four had a chance to stop by for an early dine-in dinner, and found the chicken to well prepared and tasty. Originally founded in 1976 in Los Angeles by a enterprising franchisee who wanted to create his own fast food brand, Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken soon became very popular with LA residents. As sometimes happens with immigrant communities by word of mouth and 'paying it forward', the burgeoning Cambodians began to be the majority owners of franchisees, until it resulted in the brand being sold to a Cambodian in 2009. Considering the largest concentration of Cambodians outside of Cambodia is in Long Beach, California, I wanted to try this particular location. They also sell donuts here, and my credit card bill actually listed the donut shop as the vendor...this for me is not a selling point, but was not noticeable during our visit. It's a walk-up set-up, where you order/pay for your food through security windows. We ordered a 12-piece family combo for $35.45, which included 3 pieces of breast/thigh/wing/leg, 2 small orders of fries, a coleslaw and 6 rolls. They also sell fried catfish and shrimp, so got a 4 pc shrimp ($3.85). They only sell drinks by cans or bottles, so got 4 cans of Coke/Pepsi/Squirt. It is clearly stated that each order is fried fresh, taking about 20 minutes. Our order was ready in 15 minutes, and we decided to dine-in (a small makeshift outdoor dining area with temporary tables was set-up). The chicken was well brined and had been fried well (leaving plenty of space between the chicken), with the outer coat being crunchy with a little bit of spice. For me it tasted very similar to the popular national chain, but with more consistency. The 'small' fries were not that at all, but very large...with one being enough to feed the four of us. The fries looked underdone, but were not. There were no condiments available, so the saving grace was the thin hot sauce that you could dip your fries and chicken into. The rolls were forgettable, and the coleslaw was grocery store quality (which I actually like). In fact, the chicken and sides reminded me of what you could get at a grocery store deli, except always getting the chicken fresh, instead of ones that have been fried too many to a basket and sitting too long under a heat lamp. Freshness definitely matters here. There was plenty of food for the 4 of us, with us taking half of the meal home. It reheated very well, providing us a good lunch the following day.
