Food is good. Operated like a Carls Jr. go to counter, take order, pay, sit down with table number & food delivered to your table. When asking for a tip, it's not cool to ask on register when paying. I haven't had my order taken at a table nor have I sampled the food or service until meal is completed. Man who took our order also made our meal. Does are meal "quality depend on my tip amount". We happened on this place and were so happy we stopped in. They have a variety of dishes with homemade sauces. All of them delicious! Two of us had the poke with avocado on rice. The wasabi ginger sauce was out of this world. The tuna was excellent quality too. No gristle or fishy flavor. Clean and delicious. My sister had a carnitas bowl and loved that too. I was just very disappointed when they shut down the restaurant out here and did not post it. And the phone number kept giving a message that didn't tell you they were shut down.. so when we drove out there and saw that it was gone, we were very disappointed. Communication is an important part of keeping your clientele informed of what you're doing. I'm having a really hard time with this non communication andUnderstanding how you could keep a phone number Leading people to think that this place is open when it is closed. Quite literally the only place I eat out in Redding. I'm very fussy about what I put in my body. Here, the food is fresh, nothing is from a box, the ingredients are simple yet with big flavor (their dressings and sauces are made from scratch and magical!). The California garden salad is keto friendly with a big side of avocado (in fact everything on the menu can be subbed easily to be keto friendly). Portions are a nice size, and price is reasonable. This is the closest place you will come to feeling good after you eat, like you ate at home. Mexican Coke is offered. They know quality. Always enjoy the staff, too, and the service is quick. I only wish they would bring back the burger. It was HONESTLY the best burger I've ever had anywhere, EVER. And I've lived a lot of places. I couldn't stay away where they had the burger, I was there twice a week! I've heard they have the burger at the Palo Cedro store, but that's a haul for me... maybe we should get a petition going for the Redding store, lol read more

One thing I'm missing is heat, I'm going to be looking for some spiciness on their menu next time. Also call and order ahead, save yourself some time. read more

This was our first time here. My wife had the Hawaiian Pork bowl, and I had the Teriyaki chicken bowl. Mine came with a choice of two sides, I had the macaroni salad and the garden salad. Both bowls were really good, the garden salad had a light balsamic dressing, was very good and not overpowering. The macaroni salad was similar to the type you find at a Hawaiian BBQ restaurant, but in my opinion, this was much better. Everything was fresh, the staff was super friendly and the restaurant was clean. The neighborhood is not that great, but I would recommend stopping in and trying this place if you're in redding. Glad they opened one in Redding! I've been to the one on Palo Cedro and I really like it. I ordered the Korean beef bowl with brown rice, which I really enjoyed. The meat was seasoned well and the portion (regular) was good. I also had the Sriracha aioli sauce with enhanced the flavor. There was plenty of seating and the workers were super friendly. I didn't try that myself but she is from Hawaii and grew up eating poke. The last thing and worst was the wings. We got the fire sauce and I should have known better because over the phone they stated that they "had one order left" I ordered with over an hour left in their business hours. Anyway they were incredibly dry looking and shriveled even with the sauce. My wife couldn't eat one. I ate 2 because I'm a garbage disposal like most husbands but I couldn't eat them they were so bad. They were so bad I put a picture. Sorry, last time we went it was "meh" this time it was bad. Bones were left in so I had to ask for a plate to cut meat and mix my bowl. Pulled pork was good but not great. Bbq sauce was pedestrian, salad was undressed. I can't say enough great things about this business. Their food is top of the line, every worker has been outstanding, and they always have my food hot and ready when I order it on their convenient app. My favorite is the teriyaki chicken with brown rice and side of macaroni salad, but really I've tried it all and it's amazing!
