Great find! Server was friendly and helpful. Food was really good. Table had the cowboy burger, fountain burger, turkey BLT and the chicken bowl. Also had chicken egg rolls for appetizer. Egg rolls were really good. My husband said the cowboy burger was in his top 10 best burgers ever which is an extreme complement!!!! The turkey BLT had loads of turkey. The chicken bowl was alright. I have to thank my colleague for sharing this place with me. I've gone there a few times and have also taken my fiancé who loves the food and service at Fountain Grill. The Eggrolls are so good your wish there were 6 instead of four pieces. I love the blackened chicken Alfredo and usually add some chilli flakes to spicy it up some and my fiancé likes the steak bowl which i've tried some and the steak is cooked to perfection The staff is always very pleasant and the chef will come out and check how the food came out. THIS PLACE IS THE REAL DEAL!! . I wondered how a restaurant could generate so many 5 Star reviews. Now I know. My wife and I recently stopped by for our first lunch visit and it was very much a 5 Star visit. My wife had the French dip sandwich that was more than ample and the beef was full of flavor. My burger was huge and cooked to a perfect medium. Whatever Fountain Grill does with their fries makes them incredibly tasty. The deep fried mozzarella accompanied by parmesan is a stand out. You have to try the banana cake, for it is something we have not experienced at any other restaurant. A blend of delicious flavors that would bring us back to Fountain Grill just for this desert alone. Don't forget the real deal ice tea. Wish I could say something really different from what everyone else has been saying but nope, this review will sound very similar to the other reviews. Service - Perfect. Everybody is as every one else has been saying - this restaurant is staffed by a great and friendly group of folks. Menus came out quickly, service wasn't rushed, no attempt at selling, etc. Food - The chicken egg rolls were as advertised, tasty and well-stuffed. As good as any we have had in the DMV. I had the steak tenderloin, and it was perfectly seasoned and prepared. The truffle fries were also very tasty with a strong taste of truffle oil and cheese. Ambiance - Eating on the patio with our pup was spot on. We like to take the big guy out with us whenever possible, and sitting outside in a fully covered patio with a view of the running fountain is very much for FTW. Bonus Points - Dog friendly to the max. They welcome all pups with a serving of bacon (what a smart idea right?), water bowl, etc. Sam, our server, was great, friendly, etc. as was everyone else. I have zero complaints/issues/concerns with our visit here. It will not be our last! That's it, I hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Great food and service! There are a great variety of menu items for those who need gluten free and dairy free choices! It was hard to select from them, but we went with the burgers and ribs, with french fries - both the potato and sweet potato. Both were excellent, and the ribs were some of the best! Great location and ambiance. I enjoyed the setup for a small restaurant. As for the food, it was lacking. Several dishes we ordered all missed the mark. First, presentation was not there at all. I get ordering a burger and fries, but for the price there needs to be some more TLC. As for the taste, the burger meat was off. The chicken sandwich ... lets just say the chicken was rubbery and not edible. Truffle fries were good but a bit soggy and the cheese just was overkill. Oh my goodness! SO happy we decided to dine here last night...we were staying a nearby hotel and looking for a restaurant in the area. Everything about Fountain Grill was superb! Not only the food but the staff...I could tell they genuinely care about their customers...making sure everything is to their liking. Very personable...engaging my husband and I in conversation.. had a few laughs too! One of the most pleasurable dining experiences we've ever had! Went today with a party of 11. They quickly made room for us out of two tables. The food was delicious. All of it. All 11 plates. They had more gluten-free options than any other restaurant I have visited in NOVA. Every sandwich, burger, and hotdog can be served on their delicious homemade buns. We tried this new restaurant (3 months old) for the first time and it just blew our minds! They also just got their liquor license 3 weeks ago and in the midst of creating their wine/beer/liquor menu. First of all, the service was phenomenal since it was by the two owners and they were as gracious as can be! You instantly felt at home here! We ordered the homemade mozzarella "sticks" and they were perfectly breaded and cheesy as can be with delicious homemade marinara sauce. One of the reviews stated that there were only 4 in an order and that wasn't enough since they were small so I'm guessing they listened since our order came with 5 and they were a very nice size and were a very nice starter! My friend ordered the BBQ ribs & shrimp with a side of fries. The ribs were CRAZY fall off the bone tender and delicious and the shrimp were PERFECTLY cooked and seasoned with the tails sliding right off with no effort whatsoever! We also ordered a side of homemade macaroni & cheese which was scrumptious and I ordered the cowboy burger that had a perfectly cooked fried egg on top with a side of fresh made green beans. Everything was amazingly delicious and fresh! We scarfed down on our meals that we had no room for any dessert so one of the owners was kind enough to write us a note on a napkin to provide us with a free piece of cake on the next visit, which we most DEFINITELY will!! We loved this new family gem and will most definitely be back for more of their delicious homemade meals!! The salmon bowl was more of a piece slapped on some white rice in a large salad plate with a tasteless brown sauce that seems store bought vs freshly made. The lemon drop was watered down w lemonade and the waiter didn't mention the specials not even ask if how the food was. If he did- I would have mentioned, but no one seemed to care to ask. The chicken salad was equally mediocre. The diners seemed older and noticed no "people of color"- they must have gone to place with flavor! My husband and I came here tonight after my in laws recommended it and bought us a gift card. We are SO happy they did!!! The food was amazing (we got the fried mozzarella, boom boom shrimp, a burger, and the grilled cheese- all so good!!!) but the service was even better! Everyone was so kind, service was amazing- they brought us refills without asking (I don't even remember the last time we went out to eat and didn't have to ask for refills!). The manager even stopped by at the end to say hello and thank us for coming in, and he treated us to dessert for being first timers! We got the banana cake. Omg.
