Tiny space, mediocre bar food. Service was okay, but with all the great restaurants around it's a struggle to figure out why you'd pick this one. read more

I came here for lunch while in Ashburn for work. There's a reason this place has such high ratings - it's got everything. The restaurant is clean and looks nice. The service is top notch - I was waited on quickly, checked on regularly, and the food came out in a very reasonable time. The food...I couldn't decide between the mozzarella sticks and the chicken egg rolls for an appetizer, so I got both as my lunch. The mozzarella sticks were very good, I love homemade mozzarella sticks. But those chicken egg rolls...they were everything. The sauce was amazing and the texture and flavor of the chicken egg rolls were perfect. I thought about getting the banana cake to go because of the reviews, but maybe next time. & there will be a next time! read more

After seeing Yelp reviews, I stopped in on my way through town. This place was fantastic. Great very personable service. I did not get a picture but had the infamous chicken eggrolls. They were amazing. Then I ordered the shrimp bowl as seen in the picture for dinner, also very good. Seemed to be a few repeat patrons because of the great personable service and food. I will definitely stop back in when I'm back in the area. read more

Fountain Grill - 8/9/2023. Shrimp bowl with jalapeños added. - American Near Me - Ashburn, Virginia

First visit here. Service was exceptional, burgers and wings were very good. Cozy little sports bar, one of my favorite type establishments. Will definitely be back the next time we visit the outlet stores. And the banana cake! Please try the banana cake. Wow! read more

I've eaten here many times and can honestly say I've never had a bad meal. In fact , to me , this is one of the best restaurants in NOVA and I've been to a lot. I'd recommend any of the entrees personally (as I've had them all) but the Chicken Alfredo and Salmon are my personal favorites. The egg rolls are probably my favorite appetizer. Keep any eye out for their specials too... the BBQ Shrimp with mango salsa they had one time was one of my favorite meals ever lol. Also everyone there is very nice & it is a pleasant environment. Eat here!! read more

I don't normally write reviews for restaurants, but our experience at Fountain Grill was amazing!! The food was delicious and staff were attentive. The owner, Hicham, greeted everyone and made sure all guests were receiving excellent customer service. I definitely recommend Fountain Grill. We definitely would go back. read more

Please, no restaurant gets a 4.8 or 4.9 rating. But my wife told me I was wrong. Boy was I. Everything about this place reeks of caring, concern, creativity and competitive pricing. The pesto with shrimp was super. 6 shrimp in a creamy pesto sauce. Hamburgers were huge with healthy sides. But biggest surprise was the egg rolls. They are NOT your favorite Asian restaurant egg rolls. Hone made in a delight shell filled with corn, chicken and flavor. Wow. JUST WOW! The best part? The service. Oh, my. You are their favorite Aunt and Uncle, invited to dinner. We sat outside to see and hear the beautiful fountain. As people entered they were greeted as if they were old friends, and they were! Almost all had been there before. We will join them soon. A totally WONDERFUL meal. Thank you. Sometimes things really are as they seem. read more

I came here to eat lunch with my partner as it was near us at the time. We've never ate here before, but after doing so I must say we look forward to come back again. The food was very fresh and absolutely delicious! I got the Philly cheesesteak and it was full of flavor. Compared to other places, this sandwich didn't give me that greasiness I'd usually get. We had also gotten the mozzarella cheese sticks prior to our meal, which had that perfect crunchy breading. Overall, we truly enjoyed our experience here. Both the staff and environment were super welcoming. I also appreciate how attentive the staff was with us, you can tell that they genuinely want to ensure the customers are satisfied with their food and service. This is definitely one of our favorite spots now! read more

Very delicious and fresh! We sat outside and the service was excellent. Our server was Jorge, he was very kind and personable. He made sure our food was good and that our drinks were full (always important). The managers were walking around making sure everything was good and talking to tables. The staff here was so kind, I was having a rough day and they were very genuine, gave me some encouraging words, and even offered me a free dessert to make my day . I wish I could give 6/5 stars, I live in Fairfax but will definitely return if I am in the area! read more

Some of the best service I've ever received. Guinally nice people from the owner down. The food is amazing too!

Imagine having a food allergy and having to worry about your life in the hands of an establishment! The story of my life- we took a chance at Google found this gem. Called the restaurant prior to showing up to ensure they could meet our food allergy needs. They answered right away and said of course! The owners and staff were very patient, personable and explained the process of cooking for my family- From opening the door, being seated, serviced, food presentation and quality was top tier! If you have a good allergy I would highly recommend this place! Our allergy is all seafood! We will visit again- read more

I don't write many reviews but our dining experience at Fountain Grill was truly exceptional. This was the best service we ever received! A huge shoutout to Sam and the owner for being so kind and attentive. The food was equally impressive, especially the chicken alfredo (possibly the best we ever had) and banana cake. Fountain Grill - Banana cake - American Near Me - Ashburn, Virginia

By far my favorite restaurant. Food is amazing, reasonably priced, fresh made on site. Wait staff is top notch. Five stars!!!

Yelp reviews were on point! Great friendly service! We were given two egg rolls because the co-owner realized it was our first visit! The signature margarita was delicious! The egg rolls were fried perfectly! My house salad was fresh, delicious and large! The ribs had an amazing sauce and the meat fell off the bones! WOW! And of course the banana cake was exquisite! For sure we'll be back! This is a must go to place for you foodies out there! read more

Good service, they kept my soda full! The French dip was delicious. The banana cake was not so great. It was a bit dry and the icing was too hard. But I would go again for the French dip in a minute. read more

Hidden gem!! We went out of our way to dine at Fountain Grill after seeing the great reviews. It lived up to all the hype. Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon following a 4 mi hike at Sky Meadows. We were seated on the patio and our server 'MooMoo' kindly asked if he could bring a bowl of ice water for our dog We each had a salad, Caesar and Greek salad, to leave room for their desserts. Perfectly crip lettuce, nice croutons on the Caesar and not overly dressed. The Greek salad had fresh feta, tasty black olives, tomatoes, red onion, and some jalapeños. The beer and wine list was good, opted for a cold IPA. Our server was personable, make recommendations, promptly kept our ice waters filled up, and made you feel like family. Manager Wally came out to check on patio diners and offered some crispy bacon to Rosie, our lab..what a dream for a dog!! We ordered the famous banana cake and also the decadent chocolate cake--both served with a raspberry coulis. So delish, moist, and huge! The service was outstanding. The food tasty with large portions, and we highly recommend you check out Fountain Grill! Our new go-to after hiking. read more

Very good food and service. Small place but they make up in providing a good experience.

First time dining at Fountain Grill, we sat at the bar with Diana "D" as our Bartender. She was attentive and her dirty martinis were nicely prepared. She was helpful in educating us on what the chef offers and how food is prepared and cooked. Recommended by the Bartender Diana. Southwestern style egg rolls made with fresh dough which is made in house, never frozen chicken, mixed with black beans, corn and southwestern sauce. Dip it in their sauce pairing of southeastern style ranch. I rate it 9 out of 10 on presentation, texture and taste. Korean style bone-in wings fried to the perfect temp, never frozen Sauce is sweet and tangy, sticky and nicely thickened, sprinkeled toasted sesame seed Paired with blue cheese dressing. I rate these an 8 out of 10 on overall presentation, texture and taste. I can't wait to taste more of the menu! read more

Wow! Don't let the unassuming location fool you... this place is incredible! The food is fresh and cooked without shortcuts. The service is quick and courteous. We ordered chicken wings, cheesesteak, green beans, and macaroni. The wings were big, moist, and crunchy. The cheesesteak was overflowing with really tender meat. Green beans were fresh and perfectly cooked. The macaroni was so cheesy! We were truly impressed. The owner even came out to check on us and gave my 5 year old free ice cream. When we complimented the seasoning on the meat he said it's their own special blend! Everything is made fresh which is so rare. And the prices are super reasonable. You need to eat here! We'll be coming back! read more

Great food and even nicer service! Very comfortable and family friendly. Highly recommend, even with little ones!

I would love to say that I took a picture of the short rib grilled cheese sandwich before I ate it but I didn't. The sandwich was exquisite with braised beef short ribs, cheese and onions caramelized to perfection between two slices of perfectly toasted sourdough bread. The sandwich was accompanied by the gravy (on the side) the beef was cooked in. FOR DESSERT, the special of the day was apple or peach cobbler. Babbby listen! The Apple/dough ratio was perfect. The cobbler was accompanied with vanilla ice cream. read more

The folks here are very friendly and enthusiastic. Our party was seated promptly; we ordered the egg rolls and the fried mozzarella. Both were excellent. The main courses were fine. My salmon bowl was missing the guacamole, and my husband's shrimp bowl was missing the dressing, but otherwise they were tasty. The chocolate mousse cake was mostly cake with very little mousse. Everyone enjoyed their food, but nothing was memorable aside from the appetizers - and the friendly service! read more

Fantastic food and even better service. They make their sauces in house, and the ranch here is super tasty. The ribs, burger and kids meal were all super tasty. Def gonna come back to try some of their apps. Everyone was super nice and accommodating. Will Def be back! read more

My wife and I went here for dinner on a Saturday night. No one greeted us when we came in. A bartender yelled over and said that we should seat ourselves. My wife and I sat down at a booth, but a member of the staff came over and said we could not sit at the booth because they were expecting large groups of people. The staff told us to get up and move to a very small table instead. I should note at this point, the next two parties only had 2 people in them and they were sat at booths (one was a booth we were told to not sit at). After ordering, our food came and neither my wife or my dinner was great. I'd compare it to something you'd eat at an elementary school. My order was also wrong. After telling the manager about my wrong order, he offered me a free dessert and $5 our next meal. Needless to say we won't be using that $5, as we will not be returning to the Fountain Grill. read more

Staff is amazingly friendly and the food is always good. They were all so warm and welcoming with my toddler. Highly recommend!

The wait staff was very friendly and gave recommendations on some dishes! We ended up ordering the salad and the chicken alfredo pasta. The pasta was well seasoned but may have cooked at a bit too high of a temperature or the fat content ratio was off balanced b/c you can clearly see the sauce separating. Even with that, the overall experience was still pleasant and nice! We'll definitely return to try out other dishes. read more

OMG, what a gem! My husband and I were in the Ashburn area around dinnertime, and used Yelp to find a place to eat. The Fountain Grill had over 250 5-star reviews, so we chose it. We were greeted warmly and checked in on frequently in this cozy, modern restaurant/bar. I ordered a bacon cheddar burger, perfectly cooked, and a side Caesar salad. Sam, our waiter and one of the three owner-partners, told me they made the dressing authentically with real anchovies. It was delicious. My husband ordered the ribs with mashed potatoes. The ribs were tasty and tender and the mashed potatoes tasted homemade. We ordered the blackened chicken Alfredo to take home to our teenage daughter. Wally, another of the three owners, stopped by to ask how old she was. We shared a bit about our kids. It came up that the three owners are friends, all originally from Morocco. Wally asked if our daughter would like a dessert, and gave us their famous banana cake on the house. By the time we'd left, we had a bowl of freshly-made crab corn chowder to go, also on the house, had inquired about their catering options and been promised that if we ever wanted to try something off the menu (Moroccan kebab--yes, please!), we could just call ahead and ask for Sam or Wally. We will most definitely come back whenever we are out this way, and enthusiastically recommend you check them out, if you haven't already. Wally and Sam made what we expected to be an above-average meal at a typical American-style restaurant something unexpectedly special. Thanks, guys! read more

First time trying this place, felt like we needed to after reading so many great reviews. So glad we did! We went on a Saturday night around 6:30, greeted and got a table right away. One of the owners welcomes us and asked if it was our first time in and asked if we had any allergies. Sam, our waiter came soon after and briefed us on their menu and specialties. Four of us each got a cocktail and we ordered the chicken Eggroll for appetizer. We were surprised with one of the other recommended appetizer the fried mozzarella. It was wedges not the typical stick, and wow it was amazing. The eggrolls were delicious as well. We ordered grilled chicken Greek salad, the salmon bowl, plank salmon and the Philly cheesesteak. All were delicious! The only thing negative is the chicken was a bit skimpy on the salad. Service was attentive and swift. Sam gave us a free dessert card for next visit since we were all too full for dessert. These guys truly care about their small business and their customers. Definitely give them try, you will be regulars! read more

If you're looking for a restaurant with friendly, accommodating staff and excellent food, look no further than this one. From the moment my husband and I walked in the door, we were greeted warmly and shown to our table with a smile. Our waiter, Walle was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. In fact, he was able to recommend some other food for us to try that weren't even on our orders! The food itself was absolutely delicious. We tried a variety of dishes including salmon bowl, cowboy hamburger and banana cake. each one was expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, and we could tell that the chefs take great pride in their work. Overall, we had an amazing experience at this restaurant.
