We were in there for our first time, he came over asking how everything was. It was all very good & my son was enjoying the Mac & cheese (it also wasn't piping hot which is always appreciated because kids are hungry). He asked how old he was & coincidentally enough his 3rd birthday was next week. He generously said he was going to give him a surprise piece of cake & a few minutes later came out with this DELICIOUS banana cake with a nice candle for him to blow out. I went yesterday for the first time with my family. It was amazing the customer service from Sam was great. He was engaged with us talked about sports with us and was always there when we needed him. He's such a nice guy and will definitely request him in the future. The food here is actually so good. My family and I all loved our meals. The great thing about this place is that the food is not expensive at it, it's pretty cheap but the quality is amazing. We all agreed it was a great bang for your buck. My husband and I were staying across from the restaurant. My husband said they had a 4.9 rating so we went. If I could give 10 stars I would. First off the Bartender Sam made us great drinks and made us feel right at home. The place is not huge but the line to get in was non stop. Thankfully we're were able to sit at the bar. That being said the food was outstanding. The Blackened Chicken Alfredo was out of this world. My husband had the Barbecue Ribs and they were delicious. For dessert we shared a Banana Nut Cake also very tasty. We liked it so much we went back the next night. They even reserved 2 seats at the bar for us. We were driving through Ashburn after a daytrip to DC. Wanted to find a restaurant for dinner. It's a beautiful, quaint, and clean restaurant. Everyone that works there are so friendly and helpful. We had about three different staff check on us and welcome us. We had a pax of four. We were greeted immediately as we walked in and was asked to sit wherever we liked. Upon sitting, our waiter, Allen, came to our table and talked to us to offer their specials and find out if we had been there before. We asked for his recommendations and ordered the truffle fries and chicken egg rolls (which are made fresh there). We ate the eggrolls so fast, I didn't get to take a pic of it. We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak x 2 with fries, Blackened Chicken Alfredo, and Chicken Bowl. For our dessert, most of us were too full but we did order the banana cake. It was enough for all four of us. Overall, food was delicious and hot temperature. Portions are a good amount. Service is great, prompt, and friendly. Restaurant is clean. The pesto with shrimp was super. 6 shrimp in a creamy pesto sauce. Hamburgers were huge with healthy sides. But biggest surprise was the egg rolls. The food was very fresh and absolutely delicious! I got the Philly cheesesteak and it was full of flavor. Compared to other places, this sandwich didn't give me that greasiness I'd usually get. We had also gotten the mozzarella cheese sticks prior to our meal, which had that perfect crunchy breading. Overall, we truly enjoyed our experience here. So we had a family day in Virginia at the Washington commanders training camp so of course we worked up an appetite and decided to head to fountain grill in Ashburn, VA for lunch. The restaurant was in a nice shopping area where fountains were literally in front of the building so we took the chance for a photo op lol. There's also plenty of parking. We were greeted by our super nice waitress who took our drink orders as soon as we sat down. We started off with the egg rolls for an appetizer and they were for sure a 5/5 stars. If we would have ate all of them we wouldn't have had room for our entree. My son ordered the kids cheeseburger and he liked the fries more than anything so safe to say that was a good choice for him. The kids burger is also the same as the regular burger, so it's BIG. My boyfriend ordered the border burger and he destroyed it. He even saved some for later so he gave that a 5/5 stars. I ordered the black chicken Alfredo pasta and it was so good. All the flavors came together and wasn't overbearing. It was an equal balance. The workers kept checking on us and I noticed that throughout the entire restaurant with their attentiveness with all of their customers. So, I found this place merely because of the amazing reviews on this app and I am so thankful that I got a chance to try this wonderful local spot! The food was delectable, and by far the best chicken Alfredo I've ever had! The service was on point as well! Even tho they were slammed and short staffed, Sam and Walli both took GREAT care of us and even explained that all the dishes are made from scratch which is why everything tastes so good! We sat outside next to the fountains, which was fitting given the name. One of the people in our party has a gluten allergy. She explained it up front and they made sure to explain exactly what she could have and were extremely accommodating and understanding! They even had a gluten free bun which was perfect! I will certainly be back and I'm sure this will be one of my regular spots and a place I bring everyone who comes to visit me! I came here for lunch while in Ashburn for work. There's a reason this place has such high ratings - it's got everything. The restaurant is clean and looks nice. The service is top notch - I was waited on quickly, checked on regularly, and the food came out in a very reasonable time. The food...I couldn't decide between the mozzarella sticks and the chicken egg rolls for an appetizer, so I got both as my lunch. The mozzarella sticks were very good, I love homemade mozzarella sticks. But those chicken egg rolls...they were everything. The sauce was amazing and the texture and flavor of the chicken egg rolls were perfect. I've eaten here many times and can honestly say I've never had a bad meal. In fact , to me , this is one of the best restaurants in NOVA and I've been to a lot. I'd recommend any of the entrees personally (as I've had them all) but the Chicken Alfredo and Salmon are my personal favorites. The egg rolls are probably my favorite appetizer. Keep any eye out for their specials too... the BBQ Shrimp with mango salsa they had one time was one of my favorite meals ever lol. Also everyone there is very nice & it is a pleasant environment. My wife and I went here for dinner on a Saturday night. No one greeted us when we came in. A bartender yelled over and said that we should seat ourselves. My wife and I sat down at a booth, but a member of the staff came over and said we could not sit at the booth because they were expecting large groups of people. The staff told us to get up and move to a very small table instead. I should note at this point, the next two parties only had 2 people in them and they were sat at booths (one was a booth we were told to not sit at). After ordering, our food came and neither my wife or my dinner was great. I'd compare it to something you'd eat at an elementary school. My order was also wrong. After telling the manager about my wrong order, he offered me a free dessert and $5 our next meal. Hidden gem!! We went out of our way to dine at Fountain Grill after seeing the great reviews. It lived up to all the hype. Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon following a 4 mi hike at Sky Meadows. We were seated on the patio and our server 'MooMoo' kindly asked if he could bring a bowl of ice water for our dog We each had a salad, Caesar and Greek salad, to leave room for their desserts. Perfectly crip lettuce, nice croutons on the Caesar and not overly dressed. The Greek salad had fresh feta, tasty black olives, tomatoes, red onion, and some jalapeños. The beer and wine list was good, opted for a cold IPA. Our server was personable, make recommendations, promptly kept our ice waters filled up, and made you feel like family. Manager Wally came out to check on patio diners and offered some crispy bacon to Rosie, our lab..what a dream for a dog!! We ordered the famous banana cake and also the decadent chocolate cake--both served with a raspberry coulis. So delish, moist, and huge! The service was outstanding.
