The food at every Blue Ridge Grill location is outstanding, and so is the ambiance. The music, phenomenal atmosphere, and classic, old-fashioned charm are what make this place so special. The service is consistently excellent at every location, and you can tell they take tremendous pride in it. However, I have to give a special shoutout to Joe, the bartender at the Leesburg location. This man is, hands down, the best bartender I've ever encountered, both in the United States and overseas. He's so exceptional that I still remember the very first time he took care of me. His outstanding service and hospitality made such a lasting impression that I've been a regular at the Leesburg location ever since! As a business developer and salesman, I frequently entertain clients, and Joe is one of the main reasons I love bringing them to this particular location. We ate dinner there on 5/5/2026. My wife had a burger and fries. Burger was cooked well, nice and juicy. Toppings were fresh. The burger itself needed some seasoning but the sandwich was very tasty. I had the Chicken piccata. The chicken was well seasoned, tender, juicy. It was delicious. The pasta was tender, perfectly cooked. Loved the sauces on the dish. I would have liked more of them. This place had great reviews and was close enough to the Leesburg outlets that I gave it a try. It was filling up quickly even at 5p on a weekday, which was a good sign. I was lucky to get a table before a wait started. The waitress was friendly and I had a few different people stop by to clear a plate or offer a refill. It was extremely loud in here so I was glad I wasn't here for conversation. That would have been a mistake for sure. I started with the lobster bisque which was pretty good. Not the best I had, but it did have nice chunks of lobster and was more orange than brown (which I like). The portion was nice and there was steam so it was hot enough. I had trouble putting together a meal, so I finally decided on the shaved prime rib sandwich. This friggin' sandwich was delicious AF. It came with horseradish cream, extra horseradish, and au jus. The cream was my favorite but I took turns dipping and slathering like an indecisive elderly woman cooling off at the pool. And I enjoyed it just as much (whatever that means). Classic grill styling with excellent food. The place is lively, comfortable, and clean. The two dinners included a perfectly done 12oz prime rib (the smallest of 3 sizes available) with both horse radish sauce and grated horseradish, and a fully loaded baked potato, and an apple cobbler with vanilla ice cream; and a fried shrimp platter with a goodly portion of crispy and juicy fried shrimp and piled-high excellent fries. We hadn't been here in a while so tried for lunch. No straws with drinks--husband had to get them from the bar. Served bread with butter--no utensils. Husband had to grab some off nearby tables. It was dark for mid afternoon. Food was very meh. We had a Reuben sandwich and seared tuna salad. Neither was bad, but neither was good either. My tuna tasted like it had definitely shared a grill with a steak. Too much dressing. And kinda tough and sort of fatty. Unusual for tuna. If you like shoestring fries, this is your place. Coleslaw is good - wish I had had more than a ramekin bowl. The remoulade is thick and has just a touch of a kick, which I like. I was there on a Monday, so I got their crabcakes for half price ($25 on the end of March on Mondays and Tuesdays). They brought me a pumpernickel bun while I waited for my meal which came quickly. I've been here a couple of times at this point, and unfortunately, I've felt like I've noticed the quality has started to go downhill recently. The service is great even when it's busy. They were able to seat a party of 6 within 10-15 minutes during rush hour on a weekend, and the food came out promptly and all at once. I love the complimentary bread rolls that come with the table! Unfortunately, the appetizers and entrees were disappointing. The calamari portion was extremely small and because the calamari was sitting on a bed of two sauces, the bottom of the calamari was soggy - I would've preferred if the sauce was off to the side or in a separate sauce cup. I had several issues with the seared Ahi tuna with mashed potatoes. The Ahi tuna was so fishy and unseasoned to the point where it was not palatable and I had to spit it out. The mashed potatoes were thin and had no texture and tasted like box mix mashed potatoes. Overall, it was super disappointing for the price point and would not recommend this entree. Some of the other entrees are decent, like the chicken tenders with fries and the King Street Cajun pasta, but overall, I've noticed a downgrade in quality as it seems like corners are being cut. read more

Everything always goes well at BRG. I've lost count of how many times I've been there, but it has become a regular "after church on Sunday" destination. Today I got the chicken tender basket - nobody makes chicken tenders like BRG - they're amazing! And my lunch partner had the salmon and broccoli. Even my 15-year-old Grandson says BRG makes broccoli better than anyone. No matter what we order we usually get a side of broccoli. We've had a number of the desserts, including strawberry shortcake, carrot cake - both 5 stars, in fact, everything we've ever had is 5 stars. The only thing I would change is adding a shrimp basket to their lunch menu. The hostess greetings are always friendly and they're extremely helpful as are the waiters. There's just nothing I can say that's critical about this great place. read more

Food and drink-wise, I was definitely expecting more upscale, based on the sort. It pretty much bar food and definitely not would I would've initially chosen. Woodford old fashioned - terribly sweet. About once a week we order carry out. The problem is most places disappoint but that is not the case with Blue Ridge Grill. We order salad with chicken and Baby back ribs both were fantastic and prepared well including his they package their carry out. Service was quick and food was amazing. The lobster bisque was creamy and loaded with a good amount of lobster. Loaded potato was so big it could have been a meal into itself. The fried chicken salad was divine. The chicken was not processed and was dreaded in a light crispy coating, not thick at all and quite flavorful. Dressing and presentation were off the chart and my wife loved it immensely. My BLT with avocado was toasted to perfection and loaded with bacon, no scrimping on the bacon! Fries were good, hot and crisp and the avocado fresh and served on the side as I liked it to add it myself. Restaurant was busy but we were seated and served quickly with attention to detail including filling our drinks. After shopping we were hungry. I pulled up this restaurant and noticed that they had food I could eat. We went in and all the flavors hit us right away... in a good way. My wife immediately smelt the goodness of the ribs. We were seated right away. The ladies in the front were too kind. Our server was nice to us as well. And very fast. We got our food and everything was great! The flavors in the lobster bisque were different and usually I'm not a lobster bisque girl. I enjoyed the creole pasta with only shrimp. I was in the Leesburg area on a Saturday afternoon and decided to stop on in to Blue Ridge Grill to see what they were about. We were seated immediately and our server was attentive and pleasant. I ordered the Steak Pasta special that they had going on during the time of my visit. It was okay. They did give alot of sauce which I did like but the steak was prepared more on the rare side. I usually prefer my steaks to be cooked a bit longer. Plus, the steak was very gristly and made me feel like I was about to choke with every bite. Even after cutting the steak up in super small pieces, I was still gagging. My favorite food is steak and I've never encountered this gristle choke issue until now. Lol I'd give the customer service a 10 out of 10, but a 7 out of 10 for the food. Overall, Four out of Five Stars but next time I'm in Leesburg I might stop back thru and try a different menu item that might change my rating. read more

I'm back at my favorite restaurant tonight for a little treat to myself. I ordered my usual favorites: Smoked Salmon appetizer and a prime rib with a baked potato. I was enjoying my Smoked Salmon and my food arrived a little too quickly but it's okay because the salmon is served cold. The prime rib today was a little less warm than I would have liked, but it still tasted very good, just like I remember. The space is busy but clean and we don't normally prefer to sit in booths but the seating here is so comfortable! The staff promptly saw to our drinks and orders. I tried the blackened rockfish and my husband the 14oz marinated ribeye with steamed broccoli. You can almost make a meal off of the delicious warm breads! Any restaurant that will alter a menu item to suit my tastes gets five stars. I was in the mood for a club sandwich, but didn't want all the bread. The server had no problem substituting a baguette for the many slices of bread. She was friendly and helpful and way more than accommodating. Her tip reflected the great service!
