Stopped in for lunch on a Monday. The owner was in and was very kind. We started with the jalapeño cheese curds, super delicious and not too spicy at all. We also had an order of the bacon wrapped bone in wings - one of their specialties. They were cooked well and had great flavor. We also had two 1/2lb orders of the boneless wings. All the wings were delicious, the boneless were not overbreeded or cooked to oblivion. Best wings we have found in the Tucson area. We will absolutely be back. Fried chicken plate had a weird sugary taste, which might explain the crust tasting nearly burnt. The mash potatoes with gravy were not good, way too salty and had an unpleasant smoke flavor. Phenomenal restaurant. In fact - this needs to be Everyone's go to spot for wings. They truly are fall off the bone, melt in your mouth drumsticks. Every flavor we had was perfection but I think I will be dreaming of the Miramichi flavor for a long long time. Also don't sleep on the fried pickles and southwest chicken salad. Wonderful pairings with the wings. The chicken on the salad was juicy and came out warm on the bed of lettuce. Just had the ONLY burger on the Wildfire Wings & Grill's menu. The menu said it had cheese, fried onions and peppers. Received a burger with NO cheese, NO onions and NO peppers. The owner told me, quote, "oh well, mistakes happen". Just a suggestion, the ONLY cheeseburger on a menu should have cheese. Obviously, there is NO training of the wait or kitchen staff. Ordered at 435pm from the Happy Hour menu which ends at 5pm. 1 fish & chips. The server gave good service but told us that we could order until 6pm. So 3 of us ordered at 530pm. The bill comes & all of us were charged $24 each, not the $10 Happy Hour posted rate. So very substantially higher. $72 instead of $30!! She only said it was a misunderstanding, no apology & really just blaming us that we didn't know the restaurant rules. Even though we talked about Happy Hour, timing & price with her. She also said she couldn't change or reverse our credit card charge. It was a big win for the restaurant & a big rip off for us. Regarding the food quality - the fish was good. A bit greasy but thick, white meat & fries/slaw. We definitely would not have ordered a $24 fish & chips though. Outrageous pricing. Also get this - we ordered 8 wings $15 & the 3 little tiny sauces were an upcharge! Yep, $3.75. It was Superbowl & the place was empty so lucky for Lorraine she got us. But my friend was pissed about being over charged for the 2 fish meals so left no tip. The tip was in the $28 overcharge. It was Lorraine's fault & she just said it was a misunderstanding even though we spoke with her for several minutes about it being Happy Hour & she told us we could wait, no problem. Ha, big problem for our wallets! We are in town once a year & of course will never go back & I'm writing this review so you can be aware & not get ripped off like us IF you decide to go. But don't. First time visiting this establishment. Drinks we ordered were watered down, and didn't even fill half the glass, in spite of the fact that half the glass was a huge ice cube. Very disappointing. Dinner was okay, not great. When we got the bill, there was an extra $10 charge. When we questioned, the server said "oh, the computer just does that automatically if you order more than one flavor of wings". She was clearly aware of this glitch, but was not going to mention it if we didn't. Makes me wonder how many other folks have paid them an additional $10 for nothing. We went in at about 1:45 in the afternoon. We were the only ones in the restaurant except another girl and gentleman around the corner at the bar. a lively conversation was in progress. We eventually got menus and took our drink order. that took awhile. then we ordered the fried chicken. a big mistake. the breading was way overcooked well on its way to black. I took a couple of bites of the breast and guess what? ice cold in the center, as well as cool mashed potatoes (luckily the side gravy was hot). After 10 mins or so the waitress came over I told her my issue. "oh want the chef to remake ?" no I wouldn't. By this time we had eaten the rest of the meal. We waited a good 10 minutes for the check. I finally went to find her at the bar with her friend . terrible customer service. terrible food. don't go. I'm being generous with this review, ok.. We were hungry, saw some adds and postings with good reviews for this place, the pictures look nice, and the place was off course smaller than the pictures, nice patio though .. I ordered 1 pound of shrimp and half pound of wildfire wings and fries , when I got there for pickup I got three different sauces. First bad sign was, it didn't smell delicious, but I wanted to be optimistic, very expensive almost $50 dollars with tip. Brought the food home, wings were big, not my fav, and the batter on both wasn't appetizing. My wife said they tasted like they were fried in old oil, the shrimp batter slightly better. Let me just say, they have nothing on Culver's, and their shrimp is less expensive, butterflied and delicious, not here. The fries were spicy and limp, not crispy the chicken tasteless and the shrimp was the same, everything smelled greasy, these are the same people that own Fork and Fire, and I do like that place, but here they need to work on their food preparation and price. Too bad I thought I had found another place to eat, but it's not good in my opinion.., service was great, they had my food ready when I got there, and the owner seems to be nice. I'd much, much rather go to Culver's any day, for a franchise, I'm impressed, you know what you are getting and Culver's delivers , delicious fish as well,I hope Wildfire looks at this review and improves, don't like to see any business fail. read more

I tried this place during my visit to Tucson and enjoyed it. The ambiance is what you would expect for a hot wing place and the staff were friendly. On the suggestion of my server, I tried the smoked Daytona wings with the Miramichi sauce. Although the sauce is near the top of their heat list, I didn't find it to be especially spicy. That said, I didn't think the sauce was very flavorful and the wings were great. Overall, I would eat here again, but would go a bit hotter on the sauce selection. read more

While I'm a big wing fan my husband is so-so because of their size. He was very happy today since the wings today were nice and big and plump. The sauces? Wonderful! and house made. Not too hot (at least the ones we tried) but huge in flavor! We had the large fried wings (dry) with four sauces - the Miramichi Ed's Sauce, Florida Bugaboo, Mescal, and Peshtigo. While all were very good, the Miramichi was the best. As previously stated, the sauces have a bite but you can actually enjoy the flavors of the sauce and chicken. We will be back! read more

Wow my husband and I love this gem and highly recommend it!! We are visiting Tucson and glad we happened upon Wildfire Wings last night for dinner. Everything on the menu sounded good so we decided to share what we ordered. We started with the Firebomb appetizer (OMG yummy crunchy outside with tasty mac n cheese and pulled pork inside), Daytona wings (we've never seen the whole round and flat connected like this - good size and filling), Bacon Wrapped wings (crispy outside which we really liked), the Patty Melt (crunchy cheese crusted bread) and everything was absolutely fabulous. We ordered the fries and homemade chips as sides and you can't go wrong with either. The fries have that crunchy goodness on the outside!! No ketchup needed. The chips were crispy and full of flavor as well. As you might have gathered, we love the crunchiness and crispiness of everything we tasted. The delicious food coupled with a hip atmosphere, friendly service, and strong pours on the alcohol and we walked back to our place very happy campers. Thank you for a great experience!
