No wonder why this location has bad reviews. I came here hoping to exchange a sneakers that I recently purchased at their Santa Anita location (not by choice...but because he wanted me to get it). Anyway when I got here, I was assisted by the lady who I can tell was not in the mood to help customers. Thank God for the man that she was working with coz he was the one that told her to help me. Anyway I wanted to return the shoes but I didnt have the receipt. They can scan the barcode and see the info such as how much I paid for it, where I bought it. I can even show my credit card bill to show the purchase. She said I cant return it. I can only exchange it or get a store credit. I ended up exchanging it. I just wanted to get rid of the sneakers so bad. What I didnt like was the attitude that the lady had. I wished the man was the one that helped me instead. He was more helpful actually. read more

Great customer service. The girl here was so nice. I came here because I heard a pair of Adidas was on sale but it was sold out online. In store they had a pair that was only a half size bigger than what I needed. I asked the girl who worked there to help me and she made sure where my toe was. It didn't fit but I did get the sale price and my size delivered to my house! read more

Why do they hire unfriendly, anti-social, and awkward people at shoe stores? Let me start off by saying that I am at the mall every week browsing shoe store after shoe store and out of every store in the galleria Footaction is the only one that makes me feel uncomfortable shopping. All of the employees have some "cool guy" look to them. When you go up to ask them a question they all act like they're too cool or whatever to talk to them, First of all, you're an employee you're supposed to help the customers out. Second of all, sneaker collectors are friendly and I assume that if you work at a shoe store you appreciate shoes. Footaction seriously needs to restaff their whole entire store because these people they hired are all goofballs. Shoe palace employees: cool people Sheikh: cool people Champs: cool people Foot Locker: cool people Foot action: douche bags. Shoe stores are my favorite shops in the mall. Being an avid shoe buyer, there's nothing better for me than to browse shoe stores looking at the latest styles and newest releases. Not having gone to the Glendale Galleria In a while, I was excited to see this location while walking through the mall. Walking in, you immediately notice that this is not your average Footaction location. The biggest difference between this location and others is that attached to it is the Flight 23 store that features only Jordan Brand shoes. The other side carries all other shoe brands. Both sides have an abundance of styles and prices that should fit all types of budgets and preferences. The salespeople here are very friendly and were really good at taking care of me while I was shopping. All in all, my experience here was a very positive one. Went in last week to purchase a pair of Nike's and was very happy with the amount of selections in this store, the sales girl Isabella was very friendly and helpful in finding what I wanted. Went to get a "check in" for a new Jordan release. The manager says, we are not getting that shoe in stock so we will not give you a "check in" regardless of the app showing they will get the shoe. I ended up at the mall for another reason on Saturday and lone and behold, they had the shoe! I reported the manager to corporate and area director. Horrible service and super frustrating. read more

I ordered shoes from footaction.com and because it's too big, I made a store return. The guy who helped me, packed my item to be sent back to the warehouse, and asked to have a copy of the tracking number and told me that my money will be refunded back once they receive the item in 3-5days. So, I waited. 20 days later and still no refund. I called customer service and she told me that my money was refunded back since I made store return and I told her, I still don't have my money back on my card. The customer representative called Glendale Galleria store and they denied doing my returns. Crazy liar! So disappointing. read more

I will never give this place my support based on how shitty the customer service is. I picked up my Jordan 3s a few weeks ago and the service is the same. They DO NOT acknowledge your presence when you walk in. Other joints will at least welcome you and ask if you need anything. The workers rather talk to each other (non work related conversations) then to acknowledge you as the customer. The guy that got me my Jordan 3s a few weeks ago had this "i hate my job, don't bother me" attitude. I needed some Jordan 3s Mocha today since this was the only spot in the mall that had them. Had to come and give them a well deserved review. We had an issue with a pair of shoes we bought my son back in April- the stitching on the shoes was coming out and the materials were separating. I called them and let them know of the situation and they told me to bring them over and they could try to help me with it. We brought the shoes over today and they were so understanding of the situation and helped us out. They didn't have the exact shoe so we couldn't do an exact replacement, but they did let us get other shoes and we just had to pay the difference. I'm super grateful for the amazing customer service they provided. Other stores would have told us that they couldn't help us or to take it up with Nike, but they heard my story and chose to help us even after the warranty period had expired. Very poor customer service. I had bought shoes at FootAction in Downtown LA and decided that I wanted to return them a few hours later. I was in the Glendale area at the time and decided to return the shoes to the closest FootAction which happened to be at the Glendale Galleria. I walked in to return the shoes and I explained to the cashier "Mike" about the return. He then asked me why I had not returned them at the original location and said that my decision did not make sense. Then another employee "Frank" joined in and asked why I had not returned them to the original location once more. I was already in the Glendale area at the time I decided to return them so why would I drive all the way back to DTLA. Then "Frank" claimed that I was not allowed to return the shoes at a different store from the original purchase location and then said that he will only make this one exception. Before going to the store I had looked online and it stated that I can return my purchase at any store with the receipt within 90 days. But he still defended his argument that it is not allowed. It could've been a simple smooth transaction but I had to be disrespected of my decision. Very disappointing experience and personally my first negative experience at FootAction. read more

I know there are only a couple of reviews of this store on yelp but those 5 star reviews are accurate. What a great store. I rarely do sport or casual shoes (more of a dressy boot person myself), but I needed a particular pair of converse. I bought some over the weekend and they were a little too small. They returned them without a hassle. They greeted me and were attentive to my needs, both the 1st time I was there and when I returned. Footaction made me a believer more stores (Footaction or not) should be modeled after this great store. Thank you Footaction Glendale. I will highly recommend you! read more
