Flower Child has become a regular take-out option among my partner and I. The food is not WOW quality but one thing that keeps us coming back is that the portions in their protein + two sides dish are always the right amount of food we need to feel filled and satisfied especially after a long hike or work out. My go-to is usually the chicken with mashed potatoes and roasted broccoli which pair very well together. I ventured out of my comfort zone this past time to get the shrimp instead of chicken which proved to be good although a tad bit less flavorful than I was expecting. Also, curbside pick-up customers beware: when I recently arrived and parked in a curbside pick-up parking spot and did the usual (text the number on the sign to let them know you're here so they can bring your take-out order to your car) I waited 8 minutes in my car until eventually going inside to inquire about my order. I was told it was sitting on the online-order rack in the corner of the restaurant which concerned me as it seemed like no one was monitoring the number that's listed on the curbside pick-up sign. Please update your signs on the curbside pickup spots to reflect that customers must go inside to pick-up their order as there were several other cars beside me waiting for the same thing! read more

The Cheesecake Factory bought out the Fox Restaurant chain a couple of years ago. So far the vibe is pretty much the same. I was afraid it would get a corporate-feel but it didn't. Their family meals are a really good value. I get the family meal for take-out and then eat it for 4-5 days in a row. It's actually pretty economical to do that. I love their salmon, portions have gotten a little smaller over the past year or so, but still, hands down the best salmon anywhere. Even my friend that doesn't like salmon likes it. We come to Flower child nearly once a week. This is a solid place. They offer a good variety of clean food options that meet everyone's needs. I love the price to value; to be honest. I can't even say what is my favorite dish here as nearly everything they make is a slam dunk. My daughter loves the salmon kids meal with the Mac and cheese. I consistently get a salad or the Mother Earth bowl. If I'm feeling like I get a cheat day, the enchiladas are wonderful as is the stir fry noodles. Placed an order online for curbside pickup which said it would be ready around 8:05. I arrived at 8:00 and called to let them know I was there. The staff said they would bring out my order as soon as it was ready. I waited 25 minutes before calling again and it seemed they had forgotten about me completely. Didn't get the food until 8:30. I'm giving two stars is because Alyssa was very kind and apologetic and did throw in a free dessert to make up for the wait. Also, all the food was there but the fries were just luke warm. I want to like Flower Child so much more than I actually do, but their food is just so hit or miss for me. The family pack is worth it and they have a slammin' restaurant week deal, but at standard prices, the food is just not quite worth it. The avocado hummus is really smooth and yummy, and I really like the pita that it comes with. They do steak and salmon really well, even for takeout. Some of the sides are really good: the quinoa in particular is delicious, the yuzu Brussels sprouts, and the chile glazed sweet potato. I don't really get that jazzed about any of their entrees, salads, or wraps though. Not my favorite of the Fox Restaurants. read more

You can't go wrong with a Fox Concept restaurant. It's a cute spot for lunch. You order before sitting down so it's a pretty straight forward dining-in concept. There are plenty of space inside (with social distancing) and some tables on their patio area. Their menu offers a lot of healthy and unique choices (bowls, salads, sandwiches, etc). I ordered the Vegan Ingredient salad with salmon and it didn't take long to get my order at all. The salad was very good and the salmon was cooked beautifully. I really hate to write this review, as we love Flower Child, which we know exclusively through this convenient location, but last night (March 10, 2024) was a sad exception. We usually pick up our lunch or dinner - usually lunch - order because it is very close to home. So, yesterday, having just returned from a trip, we ordered two entrees for dinner to be picked up. About the time I was going to leave for the restaurant, I received a call from someone at Flower Child who said my wife's dinner - chicken enchiladas - was not available. Did I want a refund (well, obviously no!) or something else. She ordered forbidden rice bowl with tofu. The FC employee stated it would all be ready in 10 minutes. When I got home with the food, we found my BBQ chicken wrap and my wife's (stone cold, tasteless) enchiladas, not the forbidden rice bowl. Both dinners were of such poor quality, I'm not sure whether we will return. That will be too bad, as we usually find the quality well above average and appreciate the healthy choices. I ordered this yesterday so I could eat it at home. I just heated it up and looked at it and it's one chunk of meat with a couple pieces of shred. There's the tiniest amount of potatoes only a couple carrots no celery. This thing is the smallest meal and I spent $16 for it. Shame on this company this has been happening more and more where the food is just so small of portions but they're charging so much money.this is pathetic. My husband ordered the teriyaki shrimp and avocado bowl, which he enjoyed. I found it to be too sweet. We shared the avocado toast and it was pretty good. The avocado was nice and creamy. I ordered the Whole30 special which was meatballs and cauliflower risotto. It was actually pretty good but a little to rich for a lunch time meal. The meatballs had a kick to them. Came here with my sister and her family while visiting AZ, since it offered vegan / vegetarian options for me. I ordered the Thai Dye Wrap which was really good, a little sweet and just a hint of spice (uber mild for me). It came with a side salad with a light vinegar (maybe lemon) and oil dressing. Everything was fresh and well made. If I lived in AZ I'd come back to eat the dish I had again. I also tried a spoonful of my sister's GF Mac & Cheese - it was really rich and descant! My main two issues with the place: 1. not all the cooks where wearing a mask (they have an open kitchen, you can see them cooking). 2. many of their dishes had mushrooms (I loathe them), so that limited what I could order there. We ordered a chicken plate with brussel sprouts, and heirloom carrots, a mother earth bowl, and a raw veggies plate with hummus to share. We sat outside under the string lights and it was a cute environment and the weather was perfect. Our food was brought to us shortly after we ordered and everything was delicious. It was a well balanced meal of protein and veggies and the flavors were tasty. Is it apparent they care about the quality of their ingredients.
