I bought 2 Honda Pilots from Fisher Honda and had both serviced there. When I was in an accident with the last one, I purchased an Acura MDX, and have continued to have that serviced on the other side. The service team is amazing, I'm confident that I'm receiving quality maintenance and no unnecessary repairs. Great value with the prepaid oil change card, too. I've had my oil changed at another place once and my oil leaked. Never do that again! Once this MDX is ready to be traded in, I'll be going back for my next even though I live quite a ways away and don't work close anymore. My husband and I have been in need of a car since the beginning of 2020 but nothing we saw online was working for us. We started to look at cars in person October and went to a few different dealerships by our home. My husband then remembered Fisher Acura in Boulder and looked to see what they had online and I am so happy he did. Fisher Acura was the best customer service we received. Franklin English greeted us as we made our way towards the building and he went above and beyond. He showed us the vehicles we came to see from what we saw online, he recommended other vehicles on the lot and was thorough on explaining the key features. When we moved forward towards purchasing a MDX but only one of us would be able to go to the dealership, he offered to drive my Nissan home for us... an hour south of Boulder. Bought a 2016 Subaru with 71k miles. I trusted the sales person, Nate, and the techs who serviced the vehicle - I was told there was nothing wrong with it. I assumed the "eyesight" light I saw on the dashboard was to alert me to the eyesight working. When I brought it to the Subaru dealership less than 2 weeks later to repair open recalls, they told me the light is an error light and the bill will be $2769 to repair the eyesight. Talked with Fisher about it, and because I bought it "As Is" they are not willing to take any responsibility for their service techs and sales person not knowing the light was an error and alerting me to it. read more

Acura owner beware. Took advantage of my wife. Did full transmission service although the transmission had been replaced just last year (under warranty-separate location).... ! Told her that directional wheels had been installed in reverse and wanted to charge her to "fix". We took car to Costco instead (where we bought tires) and service manager showed and explained tires had been properly installed. They also charged for a tire rotation that clearly did not happen. Told her all filters needed to be replaced... I had just done the cabin filter.... Disgusting!!! Don't trust them. read more

My husband and I just purchased a 2022 Acura MDX S Type Advance from Fisher Acura. Looking for a new car and dealing with dealerships has never been fun for us. We would strategized how we could get out of high pressure situations but we wanted to try the Acura MDX. We felt very relaxed and taken care of at Fisher Acura. Jake was our main sales person, he was very helpful but also gave us space. He knew a lot about the MDX. We spent a lot of time driving different cars and asking questions. Jake has been a perfect point of contact with any of our other questions. Matt was our sales manager, he gave us all the information we needed to make a decision and also discounted some of the added features which is unheard of in the current car market. We wanted to sleep on it and he never pressured us at all. On Sunday I texted Matt that we were going to buy the MDX. He sent us an online application which we were able to fill out at home, so easy. When we came in on Monday to pick up the car, everything was ready. Colby did our financing and he also was super easy going and friendly. He gave us some great offers we took him up on for extended warranty. We felt he was really trying to help us. One was for the electronics and one was for any dings or dents, two things we would be concerned about with a new car. We wanted to add a hitch and was contacted by Scott with the service department. He was so helpful and really nice! They even gave us a loaner car while they put the hitch on the car. Everyone we had any contact with at Fisher has been kind, friendly and not pushy. My advisor was Angelina Terrell, who was amazingly professional, kind, and was just a good person from whom the customer would know she had your back. The parts manager, Hua, was also really helpful. I also met the service manager named Randy. I was very impressed. I think the snacks could be a little better. I am thinking that the next move for these dealerships is to offer a complementary or affordable session in their gym and/or a massage for which the customer pays. I recently purchases a new car from Fisher Honda/Acura. It was not a good experience. I knew what car I wanted, I tried to reach them but was batted back and forth on a chat line and got no where. Then I called and reached a salesman who was pleasant and helpful. I had to reserve the vehicle I was looking at. There wasn't anything at the dealership that I could drive or test drive. The car arrived earlier than expected and I had 36-48 hours to come pick it up. The atmosphere in the sales room was unfriendly. The salesman was treated rudely by other team members. We were sold an additional service that we didn't remember agreeing to. After a brief introduction to the car I drove away. I never had ridden or been in a hybrid and it was a little unnerving. The steering wheel kept shaking on the way home. I called to ask about this and was told where I could find the owner manual. Difficult to read (grey on gray) Wanted to return the car. Didn't drive it for a day or two. Finally figured out how to get rid of the vibration in the steering. Took on a drive liked it once I figured a few things out. Still do not have a good idea of how the car works, I guess I'll figure it out..... If this is the "new normal" I say buyers beware read more

I went into their dealership to buy a car & was stunned by the fees they have. A 41k RDX was over 46k with fees they wanted to add. $199 for a security fee; they give VIN information to Colorado law enforcement?? That # is stamped on the car in numerous places & would be reported if it was stolen. An emissions fee? Brand new vehicle is exempt for 7 years. $599 dealer fee & handling; I was 1st told this was just additional profit. Then was told it went to pay employees for cleaning the cars, servicing the cars, paying the electric bill..... they refused to compromise on my trade value & I was willing to meet them in the middle. This is literally the only place that I will take my Honda for repair. They are extremely honest, reasonable in price, and very fast. I am very well versed in the repair of automobiles so I can probably fix anything, and can surely take apart anything... So when I recommend a mechanic it is sincere. Update: called the service department back to get information on my car's service history and type of oil. After being told ALL service staff are busy, the person on the phone couldn't even tell me what type of oil my car takes!!! How incompetent? It's not like I was asking them for a specific or obscure part # for an ancient out of service model. This was for a 5-yr old SUV!! So, all the fancy talk about "dealer" value amounts to jack shit at this place - especially when they can't answer a simple question!! Now the business owner wants to talks to me about my review. I have a tale of 2 experiences with them. My sales person was excellent (Rick Culver), informative, not pushy - all the things you want. I was buying a new Acura RDX so I was paying full MSRP. The issue came in the trade in 'process' - I have tried to have them estimate it multiple times to not waste my time as we waited for my car. The answer was always "no, we will do that later" So today, I go to pick up my car, and they offer 50% of what their own trade-in estimator on their website provided. it was offensive, to say the least. I feel that the whole process is meant for you to love the new car and not walk away when they shaft you on the trade in. Life is too short and there are too many dealers to work with ones you cannot trust. Avoid these guys. Update 3 days later - I bought the same car from another Denver Acura dealer with over $3000 better trade-in and perks. Love the Acura, annoyed I could not give local dealer business. read more

Poor service. Work done incorrectly. Overly expensive and sometimes incorrect, estimates. I waited at the service counter once for over an hour while they tried to figure out a bill. Didn't wash the car after the repair, over a year after setting up the service center for Acura. I have experienced nothing good about this service center. Just purchased a new Optima hybrid here. The service was excellent. They really went above and beyond to earn my business. I was considering the Toyota prius, Toyota camary hybrid, and VW jetta hybrid, but the service here was better, and I thought I got a better deal. I worked with a salesperson named Tom who was quite nice, and the manager Jonathan who really blew me away. They were prompt and made sure to get back to me at the exact time promised. They looked up many choices, and went the extra mile, eventually acquiring a car from another dealer, and making sure it had the exact options/color I wanted. I was really ready to buy the Toyota, but decided to go with the Kia at the last minute, and am glad that I did. They delivered on everything they promised, and left me feeling very happy with my choice. After purchasing the car, I had to have something changed and made an appointment with the service department. They were also quite friendly (I dealt with Jill mainly). I was greeted immediately at my car. They were clear about how long it would take. The waiting area was quite clean and had free wifi. They also had a free shuttle that took me home after about 10min wait, and brought me back after the service was completed. The service took less time than they originally quoted, and they taught me how to use everything after they finished. (Updated on 10/06/15) I reported Fisher Auto to the Better Business Bureau (BBB) on 09/22/2015. This was their official response: "Our stand at this point is we are waiting on alan to get back to us on the results of your insurance company's investigation. However, as it stands now, we believe Fisher cannot be responsible for a vehicle that has been driven for over 3000 miles and it's been 88 days, ( almost 3 month) since we worked on the vehicle and Fisher should have had the opportunity to inspect the vehicle first." Here are the reasons why Fisher Auto's position on this issue not correct: 1. It is not my duty to report on behalf of my insurance company's investigation (State Farm). I am not an agent of State Farm and I will not attempt to explain why or why not they haven't demanded reimbursement for covering their part of my claim. State Farm's action or lack thereof is not a ruling of law and does not determine guilt or innocence of Fisher Auto's work. Regardless of what State Farm determined, I have decided to make future Fisher Auto customers aware of the work performed at their service center and their refusal to reimburse me the $500 deductible I had to pay due to the accident I was involved in on 09/07/2015. (Fisher Auto installed new tires on my 09 Jeep and one came off while traveling 40 mph. Fisher Auto was the last shop to do any tire work on my Jeep.) 2. It is not reasonable to expect a properly installed brand new tire to come off a vehicle 88 days later and 3,737 miles driven. As I mentioned in my original review, most auto experts recommend a tire rotation between every 5,000-8,000 miles. Based Fisher Auto's position, tires coming off during transit is commonplace and should be expected. This conclusion is not only uncommon, but dangerous as well for anyone trusting Fisher Auto to perform professional grade repairs. 3. I am the owner of the vehicle in question, therefore, I decide who does the repairs. Fisher Auto has no ownership rights to the vehicle. So, their expectation to have had the opportunity to inspect the vehicle immediately after the accident is a moot point. I will update this review after our hearing in small claims court. I realize that I'm a nobody and probably will be crushed by Fisher Auto and their deep pockets, but considering the way they put me and my family in harms way. (Original Review Comments) Fisher installed new tires on my Jeep on 06/12/15. On 09/07/2015, my driver's side rear tire came off while driving, causing $500.00 in damages after insurance. On 09/07, I was involved in an auto accident when my driver's side rear tire came off while traveling 40 mph on Broadway in Boulder, Colorado. Fisher Auto was the last and only shop to do tire work on my vehicle before the accident. Luckily, no one was injured and my car was the only thing to receive property damage. I filed a comprehensive claim through my State Farm auto insurance on 09/08. The total amount of the damages due to this accident was $1,247.65. My deductible was $500.00. On 09/09, I went to Fisher Auto to report the accident. Kia Service Manager, Mike Rhodas, requested that I bring him a copy of the total damages once it had been finalized. On 09/15, I received my vehicle back and the damages total from Spruce Auto & 4x4 Center. I dropped off the invoice to Mr. Rhodas and he stated that he would let me know by no later than 09/17 whether Fisher Auto would reimburse me the $500 I had to spend due to the accident. Later on that day, Mr. Rhodas called me to ask if any other shop or person had serviced the tires after their work in June. I said no and that Fisher Auto was the only and last shop to work on my tires when they installed the new ones. On 09/17, I received a conference call from Mr. Rhodas and a gentleman named Tyler (I can't recall his last name). Tyler stated that Fisher Auto would not reimburse me the $500 that I requested because 3738 miles were driven on the vehicle before the accident had occurred and therefore, they couldn't determine whether Fisher Auto was responsible for the accident. I found this response to be unacceptable mainly for 2 reasons: 1. Fisher Auto was the last shop to work on my new tires. 2. Most Auto shops recommend tire changes between 5000-8000 miles (miles on my car before the accident = 3738). Due to this decision, I had to file a claim with the Better Business Bureau to see if a solution can be reached. I realize that Fisher is a huge dealership and has no motivation to do the right thing. After all, they dodged a huge bullet by this accident not injuring or killing anyone. However, I refuse to be silent and let them put profit over people. I'll update this review if I hear back from Fisher Auto or the BBB. read more

We purchased our new 2020 CR-V last Monday at Fisher Honda in Boulder and drove it to home to Utah the same day. It drives wonderfully, I'm very pleased with the car and I'm still learning about all the bells and whistles We looked in Boulder after having a very poor experience with out local Honda dealer...twice. I had done my research and knew exactly what I wanted, so the purchasing experience with Fisher Honda was done online and was a smooth and easy transaction. We only had to come to the showroom to exchange funds, fill out paperwork and pick up the CR-V. I would recommend Fisher to anyone thinking about buying a Honda! Franklin English walked me through the online portion and Chris Cather closed the deal in person. In both instances it was an easy transaction with no high pressure sales tactics. We purchased a 2012 honda crv. Which has the same body style as the 2015. We enjoy the outdoors and wanted a vehicle that can handle the mountain lifestyle. We purchased the oem rack system to use with our Thule Atlantis 1800 box on. And purchased thules bike accessory rack to haul bikes. Both of these item interfere with opening the rear door. I cannot recommend this vehicle to folks who actually want to put stuff on top of it. It was very disappointing to find this out after buying the mini SUV. This is a major design flaw that honda missed. It reduces the crv to a grocery getter, not the Swiss army jackknife of cars I was sold on. I contacted corporate honda and got no where with the complaint. They " documented" the situation. Geesh As far as fisher honda goes, I have no problems with you folks. After your comment ..... I am simply notifying the public about the oem rail system. It is not compatible with thule accessories. The installation of both the Honda rails and cross bars and thule bike or box is correct. Honda corp. has a design flaw that carries over in the normal operation of the rear door with normal accessories from major companies like thule. I am shocked that you are trying to cover up the fact that the rail system is ok and my installation of the the accessories are flawed. This is not looking good for fisher Honda when you post comments like that, sir. 7/23/15 Update on rack system. Please consider the Yakima solution. I took off the oem Honda cross bars and installed Yakima control towers and landing pad #14 on the silver Honda luggage rail bar. This system lifts the components high enough to use the back door. You can get the parts and or installed in Golden Colorado at Rack attack, known as Sports Rack. read more

There is not 4.5, so 5. I have been a fan of FisherHonda for 7+ years. Since I moved to Boulder area, there are not too many great rating honda/acura shops. I brought my 2001 MDX to another one, they charged the money but did not even replaced the cabin filter for me. Then, I tried fisher. I give 5 star for each time I visited fisher honda. I can also give 5+ star for the first time I visited the new fisher acura. Since they purchased the flatiron acura, now all(honda/acrua) in one shop, but they helped me a lot on parts and maintenance. Now, the -0.5, as a MDX fan, I replaced my 2001 MDX by another 2011 MDX. LOL. Still like fisher. So took my car to the fisherhonda for oil change, guess what? the fisher acura took over it! I am still okey with that, but they said I do not have appointment, then I have to wait 2 hours!!! This was not the case at fisher honda, no reservation is needed for oil change. Can you fix this? Or we have to wait for oil change just for Acura only? Come on. I won't bring my car back for oil change. The other dealer even offer me loner car to my home for services. Either fisher honda can help us as a local shop or luxury service as Acura. There is something in the middle, I have to give you -0.5. read more
