I LOVE these guys!!!! I have tricky windshield wipers and they put them in for me. Today, I had a bad headlight and bought a new one and Daniel put it in for me and patiently taught me how to do it myself!!! Also, a couple years ago, I'd asked my mechanic to put in the brightest bulbs possible. Yes, the Sylvania bulb Daniel picked out for me is a LOT brighter. This autozone is one of the best ones I've ever gone to. Frank and Ivan took care of me like I was family . My headlights were a major pain to install and originally stop at autozone at 287 and the kid working had me feeling nervous because he seemed like he never changed a light, but Frank took me to school and installed my lights no problem. I also brought to his attention issues with my breaks and he schooled me on what to look for. They have a great amazing staff and would gladly refer them and will be back for the future . I had a great experience today with customer service and the fact that the store had the new windshield wipers I needed and batteries for the key fobs. Gino quickly and efficiently installed the new wipers and put the batteries in the key fobs. We ordered a part to be ready for pick up on Wednesday and asked for a call when it arrived. We waited Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and most of Saturday. We waited forever at the counter as an older gentleman was trying to accommodate everyone. The other workers were in the back chatting and came out saying "0h we didn't even know you were here" pay attention. We explained our situation. Immediately they jumped into defense mode and said they didn't work Wednesday. What about the other days? Who calls customers back? When we asked for the receipt the female manager, with serious attitude explained she had to go through all the computers and it would take " a minute " nothing takes 1 minute! 20 mins later we finally left after she stopped helping us and went in the back to help someone else. This was not OUR fault! The person who originally took our order was a woman. How many women work at Auto Zone. Disgusting customer service today. read more

The other night my brakes went out and I pulled into the AutoZone store in Lafayette to purchase some brake fluid. Andy & Daniel came out and looked where the leak came from and suggested I call one of the mobile mechanics they knew as the car was dangerous to drive due to the leaking part. Both Andy and Daniel helped me tremendously get a mobile mechanic out and even drove to another AutoZone to obtain the part I needed. I am so thankful for these gentlemen in helping me get my car back on the road safely. These two gentlemen along with the mobile mechanic went up and above to insure my car got back on the road safely. I give these guys an A++++++ for their great service! read more

Sometimes the greatest victory is a crisis averted. Last night, after a long 4 day flying trip, I got the dreaded "Check Engine" light on my 123,000 mile 1997 Toyota Tercel. As a commuting airline pilot, I rely on my ancient but trusty Toyota for everything I do in Colorado. My last "airport car" was a 1989 Toyota whose engine finally failed during a particularly vicious Denver Blizzard 7 years ago. This morning I went to Autozone for a diagnostic, and the manager, Frank, personally checked out my car. He quickly determined it was an exhaust system oxygen sensor ($65), and ordered the part, and helped me find someone to install it later today. After he'd solved this problem, I casually mentioned to Frank that my air conditioning hadn't been working for quite some time. He instantly checked the coolant pressure on my car, and recommended a fast, inexpensive solution - much cheaper (net $30) than the $180 solution that my favorite local garage had offered me. Frank's superb customer service, deep mechanical knowledge and expertise, and ability to empathize with customer's urgent timelines makes this one of the finest Autozone stores I've ever experienced. Then again, Autozones are pretty neat places in general. The last one I went to in Illinois found me the perfect rectangular oil filter shipping boxes (which they were throwing out) with which to make periscopes of various sizes for the submarine and spaceship I was building for my 9 and 10 year old nephews out of big cardboard boxes in their basement. Autozone rocks, my friends. Get in on the magic today. Frank is a superb manager, and I recommend his store for any of your auto parts needs. read more

One of the worst experiences I've ever had at an auto parts store. Very rude over the phone and even more rude in person. After making a purchase there and my purchase ending up falling apart, they seem to enjoy refusing to replace my product and scam me out of my money. Do not go to this location for honest service. The AutoZone on Colfax in Denver is a much better choice. read more

Having older vehicles, It seems that I'm always working on them. With that, I have been to many different auto parts vendors. I can tell you that the best experience that I've ever had, in reference to shopping for parts, and the assistance received while doing so, was at this location. Long story short, my truck essentially broke down in the parking lot, within seconds, Frank was there. He was present in the moment, which was really awesome. He acted as if it were his priority to get me back on the road. He let me borrow tooling and even instructed on which steps to take in order to fix my truck. Frank was awesome.
