A nice guy took the battery outside, swapped it with my old one, and took my old one away - all for the cost of the battery, which was only $120! A refurbished A42 in excellent condition is available for $131.16. We will issue you a check for $140.00 to cover the cost of the replacement.with either a refurbished phone of same make and model, or you have the option of applying that amount toward a new phone." Batteries Plus hunted the internet for the cheapest, refurbished phone they could find to offer me compensation for their incompetence. Did they tell me their policy for when they destroy someone's phone? - NO Did they offer me a brochure about their repair policy and this little fine print item??? - NO Buyer Beware! I stand by this review. Folks who've had successful battery replacement, good for you. You were lucky. Imagine if you're told not only did the tech destroy your phone, but you lost all your content.

I took my car in, and it didn't need a head gasket at all! The repair was around $500. 2) A new mechanic at a different garage quoted me $184 to clean up one of my headlights. I went to O'Reilly's and bought a $10 headlight cleanser, and the guy at the store cleaned it off for me! 3) Last night my car stalled in their parking lot (next door to my gym), and had a couple of scary warning lights! (Check engine and brakes!) The guy in the store Came out to my car, popped the hood and also used his little diagnostic machine and: saw I needed brake fluid (filled that up with the $5 bottle I bought there), showed me what the check engine doohicky diagnostic tool had said needed cleaning, and also tightened down an air intake thingamajig that was totally loose. After my workout I drove home and the dashboard warning indicators were still on, () but this morning, I started it up and all the dashboard warning lights are off. When another staff person was putting in my battery, she had trouble and even tho Scott was busy, he very graciously took a look for me and corrected what she did and got it in correctly. They were getting a LOT of foot traffic because Auto zone was closed and yet Scott was patient with every customer and got to me as soon as he could. Another employee told me they didn't have corrosion fluid to put on terminals, but when I asked Scott, he got some and put some on for me. Great customer service, Scott! Thank you!!

When I arrived, you suggested charging my existing battery in the store to assess its capability, before buying a new one. An hour later, it was apparent that the battery wasn't fully functional and it made sense to purchase a new one. I value your straightforward and honest approach to doing business. Trust means everything to me when it comes to automotive repairs.
