When I arrived, you suggested charging my existing battery in the store to assess its capability, before buying a new one. An hour later, it was apparent that the battery wasn't fully functional and it made sense to purchase a new one. I value your straightforward and honest approach to doing business. Trust means everything to me when it comes to automotive repairs. You also suggested taking a photo of the 3 year warranty, so I'd always have a record of my receipt, even if I lost the original paper. What a great idea! Thankfully, they had the battery that I needed in stock (quoted $30-70 less than at other local places I'd called). I asked how much installation would be and was told if it was under the hood (instead of in the trunk or anywhere else a battery might be?), they would be happy to do it for free (!!!). I drove over immediately and they had my battery ready and waiting for me. A nice guy took the battery outside, swapped it with my old one, and took my old one away - all for the cost of the battery, which was only $120! I did get the sense that they value putting a customer into the right car and will take the time to try and do so. I saw other Yelp reviews for Flatirons Imports under its other name Flatirons Subaru, and I'm not the only person who spent a lot of time with a salesperson test driving models and did not end up buying that time around. I think for the patience of the salespeople here, they may not always make a sale that day or that time, but they are earning long term customers who will come back next time and buy.
