UPDATE TO REVIEW 6/12/26: Fisher Honda called after the reviews posted. The Element is gone - it got auctioned. To make it right they are contributing $350 towards the purchase of a roof rack from Honda that will fit the new-used CRV we purchased from them. Long story with Fisher Honda. Our son went to school in Boulder and before he left on a long road trip we took his 2008 Element in for service - it had an overheating problem and we wanted to make sure it was roadworthy for a long drive from CO to WA. $2200. The car was back at Fisher in a week - overheating. They told us that the radiator had a leak and coolant had leaked into the engine and destroyed the engine. Of course I asked how this could be possible when they had serviced it a week earlier, they toook no responsibility for NOT finding this leak. Long story short, we could get the car fixed for $8,000. That's another $8,000 - for a 2008 car. So, we changed course and decided to look at purchasing a new used vehicle off their lot. The entire time saying repeatedly, we need stuff off and out of the Element and we were assured our son would be able to get his stuff. So, we get to payment, get the ACH info, send it off on 5/29. From 5/29 - 6/8 they claim no funds have arrived. The funds actually had arrived, they just didn't notice. How do you not notice $30K coming into your accounts? Anyway, my kid picks up his car, asks to go through the Element for his stuff - which includes a roof rack - and he discovers the Element is no longer on the lot at all. Fisher did something with the Element before the sale was completed. And I have been calling the contact person we worked with - no answer. He is not calling me back. He is not returning my texts. His name is Ron. Fisher Honda has stolen our private property on and in that car. I do want to say the staff tried to helpful during the potential fixing and the purchasing of the new used car. But they stole off of and inside the Element and are not returning my calls. read more

Took my CRV in for a transmission service before a long road trip and they forgot to put the front screw attachments on the splash guard. It blew down as we were headed out of Denver on I-25 and got wedged under the car. Had to crawl under the car on the side of the freeway and remove it with a pocket knife. Called the service dept. They want me to take it to my nearest dealership for a quote on the part (they don't know??). Nearest dealership at our destination is 4 hours away (8 hrs roundtrip). Ughh. Best they could offer. Had to order a replacement off Amazon. Don't recommend. Also neglected to tell me about the fees for using a credit card, so your invoice won't match what is on your credit card bill. read more

They said that the manager for the Honda area was out of town in Mexico and that there was a mixup in his absence. So I accept that explanation and I ended up buying the car. Really quite rude and scummy. Typical dealer but with absolutely insane add on profit fees (security transfer - 350; "handling fee" - 150; another garbage "doc fee" - 700). I honestly didn't know it was legal to add so much bs onto a car. Additionally they don't know what they are doing on trades. Asking me for my carfax and service records like they are a private party (pull the carfax, I gave you the VIN). I recommend reading your contract people! Don't pay these bs profit margin fees! Reply: thank you for your professional reply, I wish the encounter was similar with your employees. That being said, online business transactions are a norm these days, to imply deals must be done in person is a bit of an outdated excuse. Secondly, I am perfectly comfortable with a business deciding what to charge for a vehicle, however adding over 1,000 in profit margin fees (why do businesses still use document fee, it's just a profit add on) should be communicated in the price prior to wasting a customer's time. I got a diagnostic from them to see what was wrong with my Honda. They did a thorough job and sent me a detailed email with the results. I quickly looked it over , when I went back to the email the detail was gone. I called and they said I only get one look at it. They concluded I needed much more done to my car than I thought. I took it to another mechanic in town. He went on Carmax and said I had some of the work done already. Fisher suggested i needed a new timing belt- my new mechanic said Carmax said it was recently replaced and looked good. This is the kind of gouging that is unacceptable. Don't use these people. I've been going to Fisher Honda for vehicle maintenance exclusively for 14 years. I recently received an email saying they would now be charging a fee for using credit cards to pay for service. As a dealer - their prices were already inflated vs local shops, but I was willing to pay a little extra to get the dealer service. I will no longer be patronizing this dealership due to their change in policy in charging fee for credit card use... The inconvenience of paying with cash or writing a check is just crazy in 2025. What I didn't expect was that Fisher Honda would send me about 6 additional SPAM emails, not just from Fisher Honda but also from Fisher Acura. These SPAM emails continued for a period of weeks. BUYING A NEW CAR IS THE 2ND BIGGEST PURCHASE OF YOUR LIFE. THIS REVIEW IS WORTH YOUR TIME. I bought a brand new Honda from Franklin at Fisher Honda recently. Franklin seemed nice and this is my first experience with Fisher and buying a new car just for myself. I wanted the Insight Touring and Franklin and I went over the specs and pricing the first day, it was a little more than I was initially prepared to spend and even though I had good credit and was buying a brand new car, Franklin was unwilling to discount anything. I wasn't really on the fence about anything at first though, everything felt good so far. Easy sale! Unfortunately it was too late to start the paperwork that day so I had to come back the next day to finalize the purchase. When I came back the next day Franklin had told me that he messed up and showed me the EX specs and pricing sheet, not the one for the Touring. So you can imagine my disappointment and understanding the car that I wanted was 5 grand more than what I was told initially. We still proceeded with going along with the purchase as I had justified it was a mistake on his part and not a sleezy salesman tactic and that's just the car that I wanted. Still he was unwilling to try to make up for it by doing something extra to offset my disatisfaction to his lack of attention to detail. I paid full sticker price for a car with nothing extra, no floor mats, nothing. After the purchase I called to check on the specifics of insurance and warranty and had asked him a question regarding non OEM windshield replacement and what specifically that voids if it happens. He told me, "I believe you void the whole 3 year- 36,000 mile warranty." I said, "for the whole car?!" He said, "yeah I believe so, but let me transfer you to someone who knows more about that." After I talked to that person they made it very clear that it didn't, just the windshield portion of the warranty should it fail. They didn't have the trunk tray I purchased with the car the day I got it (no big deal) so they told me it would arrive in a few days and that he would get ahold of me when it did and I could come down and pick it up. He never called me for that, I waited 2 weeks and then called the dealership myself and went and got it. The day that I did, I actually saw Franklin and I'm pretty sure he saw me. He didn't say hi, or anything to check up on how I was liking my vehicle that he just helped me get into. There had been no follow up call to that point either, and I don't expect one. The only reason why this is 2 Stars and not 1 is because the financing manager Colby did do me a solid and called the lender the day of the purchase and got my APR reduced making the payments more affordable and doable, so shout out to Colby. Other than that, working with Franklin was mediocre at best but most honestly not. I expected more, I expected a car salesman who knows what they're talking about when they are selling you a high priced item such as a brand new car. It's not a cheeseburger or a cell phone. I expect someone who doesn't show you the wrong spec and pricing sheet initially and then when they tell you the car you actually wanted is a lot more, not be willing to kind of cushion the blow by throwing in a freebie or two. I expect someone to not hand you every single business card they have in their drawer to try to upsell their personal circle people on aftermarket upgrades. I expect some sort of follow up afterwards, especially when you are waiting on parts. This boils down to caring about your job and your sense of responsibility to your client(s) and not just making a sale. Should you visit Fisher Honda in Boulder? Maybe. Came very close to purchasing a car here, but sales team put pressure on us and wouldn't wait for a certified inspection. We are a one car family with a four month old baby so we agreed to take a preowned Subaru across the street to check out an open recall to be sure it was safe. The inspection seemed like it was going to take around 4 hours and if it would have gone well we would have purchased the car. After 3 hours Fisher walked in, cut the inspection short, yelled at the service team to release the car. Then left us with the inspection bill... and an incomplete inspection. Subaru was professional and apologized for Hondas behavior.. wow. I'd steer clear if you care to ensure a car is in good condition _TO RESPONSE_ - You all were 45 min late to my scheduled appointment to do paperwork that could have been sorted out days in advance over email. - I also scheduled an appointment for the inspection and there was 0 drive time, so no, I would say it wasn't "more than enough time". - Immediately after dropping off the car, I informed the salesperson that this could take longer than the 2hr window, we agreed to go forward (You could have canceled right there.) - Never communicated there was another customer - also, I expressed high interest. Purchased a used car from Fisher a couple of years ago. Everything went okay. We just went back a few weeks ago and bought another use vehicle. Nate (our original salesperson) was fine and then when we went back to actually purchase the vehicle, Nate was no longer in his sales position. The other salesperson was fine as well. Things went quickly down hill when I went into the finance office. I told Ronald Samoray that I checked with Elevations credit union who told me that I would be able to get a certain % for a car loan with Fisher if my credit score was 750 or greater. He told me my credit was 780 but the interest he quoted was about 1% higher. I told him I would not purchase the car through his office and just get the loan on my own. He said, "It only changes it by $20). I told him that it is more the point the I know I am supposed to get a certain % than to save $20, and if he is not going to honor what I was told by Elevations, I would walk. He checked with his manager and when he came back he was able to offer the correct %. He then tried to sell me the 48 month extended warranty, which I was very clear I did not want. He then reduced the price 2 times to try and persuade me. I kept telling him no. When he finally started the loan process, he went over the numbers and when he got to the point where it shows that I did not accept the extended warranty, he said, "And here is the warranty the you turned down, and are willing to gamble but you will lose." At that point I was very close to telling him to shove his attitude up his ass and the vehicle as well. His demeanor went from all jolly in the beginning to wanting to just get rid of me. Lastly, I used the Fisher website to directly contact them in regards to this matter two separate times, hoping to get some form of apology or something, but never heard from them. TLDR: I was impressed by Fisher Auto's incredible customer service and compassion for their customers. Their shop is run by professionals who really care about their work and I would not hesitate to recommend them to anybody in the Boulder area. Our family recently had to deal with a challenging and complex situation regarding an accident. We took the vehicle to Fisher Auto and we're so glad we did. Sheila, the assistant manager, recognized the situation we were in and provided helpful guidance from the very beginning. Her wealth of experience in the industry enabled us to choose the right course of actions to get the issue resolved smoothly. When it came time to understand the damage on the vehicle, her team of experts were able to inspect the vehicle and quickly provide us with detailed documentation on all the damages that occurred and provide a reasonable estimate. Sheila even took the extra step of pointing out the issue on the lift so we can get fully informed to make a final decision on the car. Throughout the process, she was communicative, transparent and easy to work with. She was also considerate of our unique situation and guided us to a resolution that was in our best interest. Fisher Auto really does take great care of their customers and I would recommend this body shop confidently. In addition to providing excellent customer service, the shop is well equipped and extremely clean and tidy - a real standout example of an ideal shop. I have been having my CRV serviced by Fisher Honda ever since I purchased from them in 2012. Their service people are always courteous and car is always ready as promised. The shuttle service is very convenient. If they say they will call, they always call within reasonable time. Last year I purchased a new set of tires from Fisher. The price was the cheapest I could find in my area for the kind of tires I wanted. However, as I drove out of the service department and got onto Hwy 119, I noticed the steering wheel was shaking so the tires were not balanced correctly. I took the car back and they told me one of the balance weights must have fell off, meaning it was probably never put on. Then today I had a slow leak on one of my tires, took the car to Fisher only waited about one and half hour to have the problem resolved which is reasonable since it was a drop in visit. The tire needed to be replaced, drove home everything seemed fine until I checked the tire pressure on the new tire. It was pumped to 37 PSI vs the Honda recommended pressure of 30 PSI, meaning the mechanic who replaced the tire probably never checked or did not care. Once is a fluke, twice is a coincidence, hopefully there will not be a third time. I suppose regular maintenance they are okay. I kind of wondering for more complicated repair if they would do a good job and fixing tires is not that complicated. read more

I stopped in almost a month ago with my son because we wanted to test drive a 2023 Pilot and 2023 CR-V. We were on the hunt to replace my recently totaled 2018 CR-V that I bought from Cole at Fisher in December of 2018. The CR-V was amazing, but a hail storm destroyed it. So off my son and I went to find our new family car. Brandon sent us out in a CR-V (which we loved) but let us know that the Pilots were few and far between and some were coming, but they were a hot commodity and our choices would be limited. I let Brandon know that we were willing to wait for the right car, the right color, the right trim and that if I had my way, we would purchase our next car from Fisher again. He and I sat down and looked at the emails with upcoming deliveries, but I will be honest, I was pretty dismayed - it seemed like this wasn't going to happen. Brandon had me scan his business card and told me we would stay in touch and he would let me know if a Pilot came in for me to test drive. About 2 weeks later, he texted and let me know a Fleet vehicle was there, and we could come take a look. I dragged my husband over lunch to go see it and meet Brandon. We drove it, I loved it, and asked if I could bring my son back that evening so he could take a ride in it as well. Brandon said "absolutely" and acted like he had NO Idea how I felt about the car so my son could "test drive it" unbiased as well. My kiddo loved it! haha! We sat down again and looked at the list - nothing coming in that we really wanted. I asked about getting a Pilot delivered from another dealership and Brandon said that wasn't an option. He knew that the LAST thing I wanted was a bright WHITE Pilot and that was really the extent of the inventory coming in the EX-L trim. He said, "I am not going to sell you a White Pilot that you are going to resent later; it's just not happening." I said, "Would you hate me if I had to go to another dealership haha?" He said of course not, but that we would stay in touch JUST in case. (I know this is a long story, but please bear with me). I did a lot of internet searching over the next few weeks. I saw the inventory on Honda.com. I knew what was out there. There was one dealership in the area with an EX-L and I reached out to them for a cash-buy quote. They sent me the quote with a TON of optional packages on it. I asked what they were and why they were there and I was told, well that is just how they sell things, BUT if it meant he could win my business he would "go to bat" for me and see about getting some of those taken off. This felt shady. My husband and I talked it over some more and decided, you know, maybe if we go up a trim level to the Touring, it would be OK and the cost would only be a bit more and maybe that was ok, too. So I texted Brandon on Thursday morning and said, tell me what you have. He was like "SUSI!! HI!" - it was hysterical lol. We sent a few messages back and forth, he sent me a quote for the silver Touring and I made an appointment to come in that afternoon. I walked into the dealership and from his desk he yells "SUSI!" as soon as I walked in. It made my day. Drove the car, loved that car. Talked to Brandon. Signed all of the paperwork. Took a walk with Brandon while we waited for the Finance Manager to be ready and that was it. Never once did Brandon pressure me, make me feel like I NEEDED to be upsold, or even that I NEEDED to buy my new car from him, but yet here I was writing my check. I trusted Brandon, his candor, his transparency, and my history with Fisher in Boulder. He was SHOCKED that I went up a trim level haha. I told him that if I could, I would be buying a car from Fisher and from HIM and that is what the our Family did. I trust the Fisher shop. I trust the Fisher staff. I am thrilled with my new Shiny Silver Honda Pilot 2023 Touring Edition lol. And my son was ELATED to be included in the process by Brandon, not just by me. First time at dealership, routine oil and air filter change. On pick up 2 hours later (promised 1hour) glove box contents were on floor, Car leaking oil and glove box was rattling (air filter change). Called Service and was told to bring it back in. Chas advised me that a trainee had changed my oil and his work had not been reviewed. I don't think they even checked the rattling glove box because it's still rattling. I called Chas about this, he did not return my call. I'll be bringing it back in to fix the rattle. I'm also going to contact Honda because I believe customers should be told a trainee changed their oil, an experienced technician should check the trainees' work, and you should get your car back better than it was before you brought it in. This is killing my Honda brand loyalty. If something goes wrong with an oil change a car engine could seize up. It's not something to screw around with. Not a fan. read more
