They said they oked it through her and she says they did not. High way robbery! Called to have them work with us and they said they would give us $40 bucks back. Trusted them to do her right. A few years ago, the "check oil" light came on in my car & the dealership that I first took my car to was telling me I needed to have some major work done on my Crossfire. Little did the dealer know, I'm not a total n00b when it comes to cars. I may not be so confident when it comes to working on a modern car, but I do have experience with "classic" cars that don't require such specialized tools & diagnostics equipment. So I smelled a rat, and just to be sure, I decided to get a second opinion. That was the first time I went to Westminster Auto Clinic, and I was VERY GLAD that I did. They confirmed that what I was told was garbage & saved me hundreds of dollars. They're nice, helpful, and most of all HONEST. A friend recommended Westminster Auto Clinic and I found myself needing a new fuel pump for my Subaru. Not only did Westminster Auto Clinic Quote be $300 less than the Subaru dealership, they also delivered some good news. Instead of replacing the part and calling it good, they tested my vehicle for awhile to find that my fuel pump is actually in good condition. The owner called and said that my car doesn't need the fix and is good to be picked up - they didn't even charge me a penny. In a world where it can seem that we might be taken advantage of time to time, it is wonderful to experience genuine honesty and customer service. came in on 8/7/2019, with a noise in the driver front wheel , scarping noise , if they would have test drived the vehicle they would have heard it. Instead they looked under the vehicle and saw the front passenger side had a upper and lower ball joints were loose and the tires were worn. O, being a s 10 model SUV, I let them fix it , still they said they could not hear the loud scraping noise in the driver front wheel. . . .they must be deaf, took it to another auto place and they heard the noise LOUD and clear and I was told the brake pads needed replaced. These people ABSOLUTLY WOULD TAKE THE WHEEL OFF TO CHEK THE BRAKES LIKE I ASKED THEM TOO. WILL NOT BRING MY VEHICLE BACK TOO THIS PLACE AS BRAKES MUST SCARE THEM. I had a problem with my headlight- a Volkswagen, which requires the most expensive kind. I couldn't figure out myself what was wrong with it, so I called and made an appointment. They got me in the very next morning! I also asked for an oil/filter change and fluid check/change. They called during the time my car was in the shop, to let me know the status, and let me know the potential cost to replace the headlight bulb before I had the infamous surprise coming back to a huge bill. When I returned to the shop, they informed me of the exact issue, told me that they only performed the services I requested to avoid extra charges. I greatly appreciated this, as I am a female, and many times have been scammed at auto shops. I know enough about my car to avoid such things, but sometimes auto shops see the opportunity of a naive female customer to run up uneccesary charges, without the customer knowing the better. I greatly appreciate the fact that they kept me informed during the entire process, and did not perform any services beyond my consent. I will absolutely use this shop again and recommend them to all of my friends and family! read more
