They are great to work with. Their estimates are very accurate, both in regard to the cost and time required. They do a good job of explaining the work they will be performing and upcoming work that will need to be done so that you can combine work to save on money. They send you videos beforehand to help you understand what is needing to be done and why. They also do a great job of standing behind their work. We have an Audi and VW and they do everything we need for them. read more

The owner is an awesome dude. Very friendly and helpful. Went out of his way to get my car fixed working again within my budget.

10 Stars! From the minute they picked up the phone until they completed the service, Joseph and Steve took excellent care of me. I came to them after an awful experience at a different shop and they listened well, immediately took my car for a test drive to figure out what was wrong, took 'before' pictures, and sent me a detailed estimate. Doing the work, they went the extra mile and replaced screws that previous mechanics didn't bother to reattach, they fixed the problem in 1 day, and they saved me $2000 by alerting me to a coolant issue that due to a recall, VW will fix for free. I will never go anywhere else, especially to the other shop that I wrote a 1 star review for. Please do yourself a favor and work with Salta! read more

I had an excellent experience with Louie and Salta Service. My son is a college student at CU Denver and was having some significant issues with his '12 GTI that prevented him from commuting back and forth to school. They squeezed us in on short notice and got the car running like new. Their communication was excellent and they finished the work when they said they would. Additionally, the final bill came in under the original estimate. Highly recommended. read more

Can't say enough about how amazing this team Is. They are so thoroughly and take extra care in making sure they walk you through any issues with your car and their range of knowledge with Audis in impressive to say the least. Would recommend to anyone with either an Audi or VW. I've done several services at Audi dealerships and would say that Salta's service blows them out of the water. read more

Joseph was beyond helpful. He spent a lot of his time looking over my car. I desperately wish I had brought the car to him before I had work done elsewhere. But hind sight is 20/20 and now I'm stuck with a huge problem and can't afford to do anything about it. Joseph and his shop are top notch, wish I'd come here first. read more

Took my car there for over two years! Always super honest, knowledgeable and friendly. Great shop!

I absolutely cannot thank this company enough for saving me when I had a faulty battery on my Audi S3. They managed to squeeze me in the day I called and kept me updated through the delivery of the battery and when my car was done. They did a complimentary overlook of my car and found that I had a broken seal on one of my injectors. I had previously brought my car to a different mechanic because I kept smelling a strong fuel odor and the mechanic said he couldn't find anything wrong with the car and didn't smell the fuel odor. I'm pretty sure that mechanic only checked if my car was throwing codes. I'm very grateful Salta has found the issue and I'm looking forward to bringing in my car for my January 31st appointment. Overall 6/5 stars for this shop. read more

If I could give the 10 stars, I would. We were traveling across the country and our VW would not accelerate. The dealerships in the area could not see us for at least a week. Martin said he was not sure they could help us but would try. We arrived they looked at it and Joseph said that he had a free 1/2 hour and that he would try. 3 hours later it was completely fixed!!! They spent time explaining EXACTLY what they were doing. Honest, clear explaining and genuine interest in people is what makes this an amazing place. They even made sure we got lunch! After all that we were only charged for an hour of work! They could have changed us thousands of dollars but were completely fair. Love the dogs too! On our way out of town they even called to say BTW get your brakes done when you get to the east coast. Great guys! I just wish we lived closer! read more

Steve and Joe are HONEST, down to earth, knowledgable, friendly and competitive. They specialize in VW + Audi. I brought my 2009 VW Touareg in because of a need for a new xenon headlamp. I called around, and These guys had the best rate for parts + labor. Was able to hang while they tended to my need quickly, and meet the shop mascot Koda. I trust that these guys are the best option for VW and Audi's! read more

I hate to give this place away, but i also need to say how much they rock! They are honest, they won't fleece you for something if you don't need it. They are super knowledgeable with audi's and vw's. They know what to look for, what should be looked at and what should be fixed! They are willing to let you drop off your car early, they call you with the issues, they are happy to do a partial fix (like if 3 things are wrong), tell you what the ramification are and don't hold it against you. There is a shop dog, that is a sweetie. Definitely come here if you need work done on your foreign car! read more

Had a great first experience at Salta - and would happily choose this garage for future car needs. Prior to me making my appointment, I called and asked Steve some questions on the types of oil they use/recommend, how often I should come in (I was switching my Jetta from Synthetic to what they recommended), etc. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the oil, my car, etc. I appreciated the time they took to in depth explain to me the entire process - something that is rare at your average dealership. When I brought my car in, they took it for a minute test drive and had it in the garage and getting worked on within minutes of me arriving. I went back to where they were working on my car, and one of the auto-specialists, Joe, explained everything to me. He answered all my questions, and gave me advice - as I am new car owner and am starting to learn about maintenance, good brands regarding parts, etc. It comforted me knowing that my car was in good hands, and that things weren't being forgotten or done in a half-ass manor. Price wise, my oil change was thirty to forty dollars less than my dealership and about 50 less than another VW shop in the Denver area that I was considering. Will definitely be back to have my VW serviced there. Overall - WONDERFUL experience. :) Update: 04/04/16 Still using Salta (this is year 3?) to service my 09 Jetta and I'm still loving the service I get from Joe and Steve. read more

Now that the car is out of warranty I'm free to take it to the best place I can. The guys at Salta rock. 1. they're close to my house, that's a big win since we have one car. I can bike home after dropping the car off 2. I told them what the dealer had most recently recommended. They did a free first time visit, nothing was needed that the dealer suggested, and they found stuff that was far more impressive to me. They did more than a simple open the hood take a peak. 3. they presented the recommended repairs as distinct pieces so we could pick and choose what we did that visit. That's awesome. I'm super happy with Salta and my baby now has a new audi day care place :) read more

The folks at Salta were patient, reliable, communicative and performed a thorough, perfect pre-inspection of a car I was looking to buy. Exactly how a well run business should work and they were great to work with over multiple phone calls and the need to reschedule. read more

They did an amazing job in my Audi Q5. Another place diagnosed 2 faulty engine fans plus the module but I wasn't happy at all with their diagnosis. I took it to Salta for the full repair as previously diagnosed. After they did some testing, they found out the module was ok so they only changed the fans. It was great to see how honest they're with their work, they could've easily just changed all parts and charge me for the entire work. I used the money they saved me to do another repair in my car that I've been waiting to do for quite some time. I appreciate your honest work guys! read more

I've taken my Jetta in twice, and each time the employees at Salta have been friendly, efficient and honest. Both times they returned my car to me on time and in proper working order. After my second visit I noticed an odd sound coming form my car a couple days after it was in the shop. They told me to bring it in and fixed the problem right away. a minor fix. Are they the cheapest around? No. But you get what you pay for and it's most certainly been worth the extra cash because they don't cut corners. Salta isn't the most expensive shop I've been to either. 5 stars Salta guys! Next time my Jetta needs work (always), I'll be taking it back to Salta! read more

I have 2003 VR6, which I love. Salta has been servicing my car for the whole 6 years that I have owned it. They are fair and affordable and always present me with all my options. I would highly recommend anyone and everyone to use these guys if you care about your car as much as I do. I have recently moved to south Florida and they are what I miss most about Colorado. Don't miss out on the right mechanic. Thanks so much for all the great service! read more

These guys are awesome. I brought my car in with a bad clutch and they got it fixed and back to me very quickly. Prices were very reasonable as well. What I liked the most about them was that everyone I talked to took the time to explain things to me. They were honest and straightforward and they do great work. I'll definitely be back! read more

There are three essential services everyone needs in life: a good doctor, a great accountant and an exceptional mechanic. Salta Service & Performance exceeded my expectations (not the easiest of tasks to accomplish). After several weeks (seven to be exact) and thousands of dollars later at another shop (5280 Motorsports), I took the car to Salta Service & Performance. Steve diagnosed and corrected the problem w/in two days. While diagnosing the issue, Steve disassembled the steering system and noticed a few items that 5280 did not install/adjust properly. Steve properly reinstalled/readjusted as well as replaced the power steering pump (5280 did it twice). I've been to several Audi mechanics in the Denver area and Salta is the only shop I can recommend. I take very good care of my car and I expect a mechanic to be more knowledgeable than myself. Not only are the guys at Salta genuinely nice, but they're professional, extremely knowledgeable and less expensive than some of the other shops in the area. Don't waste your time or money with any other shop. Go to Salta! read more

These guys are the best of the best. They know their stuff inside and out and are one of the few shops that still service older Audis. I've had my 200 in for electrical problems, a steering rack rebuild, emissions work... the lot. They've always been extremely helpful, up front and honest about all the work they perform. They will always be cheaper than the dealership and you know that your car is taken care of correctly. DO NOT skimp and take your car to a general shop without calling these guys first. read more

These guys are amazing. They are very laid back, friendly and do not overcharge or find more problems just to get you to spend more money. I got the feeling that they not only care about the well-being of my car but my finances too. They are very laid back and have some great dogs in the lobby which makes waiting a lot more fun. read more

I've never actually had work done at Salta, but I had to write a review because of my positive experience based on a service inquiry alone (I have a vehicle type they don't service). The representative who called me back left me a three-minute voicemail apologizing for the fact that they don't service Hyundais, but gave me a detailed run-down of what he thought the issue was and how he would recommend proceeding. If I had the right type of vehicle, I would definitely bring it here! read more

Brian and Erica are awesome. The price was almost 50% less than Prestige Audi and the quality of service was super. They replaced my clutch assembly, flywheel, and CV axel and performed a routine service in less than a day, then Delivered my car to me on their way home!!! No more dealer fraud - see Salta! read more

Salta is amazing - they are honest and quick - always give me a heads up on anything that might need to be done, but never push to have it done right away if it's not critical. They go out of their way to make sure you understand what's going on and what you're paying for. I would highly recommend them to anyone that has an Audit in Denver (and surrounding areas)!! read more

This is the ONLY place to get your VW serviced. They know the cars from an enthusiast's point of view, don't oversell, and are reasonable. Crap, what am I doing, I should say they suck because they are getting busier and busier. Seriously, the best place I've ever had work on my car. I'm keeping my 2002 Passat longer than I thought because of these guys. read more

If all you care about is price, you'll probably end up here anyway, but if you understand the importance of prodigious knowledge and profound skill, you need to find out about this place. If you don't have an audi or vw, go get one, and make an appointment to have Brian make it sweet. read more

I recently bought a VW tdi jetta and needed a shop to do a turbo r&r. These guys were the most honest, knowledgeable, responsive shop I could find. To boot they had the least cost. I really like the tdi, and will likely never have another kind of car, and this will always be my go-to shop when it's over my head. Can't say enough good things about Joseph and the rest of the crew here. Don't hesitate to come here for VW Audi service read more

I've been taking my 2006 Audi A4 to Salta for the last year and these guys could not be more professional, honest, fair, and just plain great at what they do. Every time I bring my car in, whether it's for an oil change or maintenance, they explain exactly what they've identified as issues, what it would cost, and whether it's necessary to extend the life of the car (my goal at this point with so many miles on it). I can't recommend these guys more! read more

The guys at Salta found time to take us in on short notice because we were just traveling through the area. They repaired our vehicle in no time at all and offered us useful advise on some questions we had. After talking with Brian for sometime, I came to realize he is a man who sticks to the high morals he sets for himself. I have truly never met a more honest mechanic in my life. The Salta crew will tell it to you straight and treat you the way you always wished a mechanic and person would. A huge shout out to Salta for getting us on the road again! read more

I've been going to Salta for a few years now. All three of the owners work on my car and they always do an impeccable and flawless job. Salta has done everything on my TDI from oil changes to replacing my dual-mass flywheel. When they did my timing belt, I was back in my ride the same day. Not only that, they will pull codes when something comes up with electrical, which does happens often with VW/Audis, at the drop of a hat. I don't see the need to seek any other mechanic in the city when these guys are so spot on and worthy. Go to Salta! read more
