I've been going to All Around for the better part of two years. This rating is therefore as a culmination of my experience at this establishment. Let me explain: around Sept 2020, a man walked into my job with these $87 vouchers for All Around. The benefit of this voucher membership is that your next 10 or so oil changes will be $5 each time. I just moved to CO from AL about two weeks before, and I definitely needed somewhere to go to take my 2009 Ford Escape. I've maintained my vehicle well, but obviously, it's over 10 years old, so it is going to have its issues. My first experience going for an oil change with the 21-pt inspection was ok; of course, I paid $5 to have them tell me I have over $5500 worth of things I should get done to my car. Fair enough: just so happens a colleague at work re-affirmed a ball joint issue with my car when he changed out my brake pads. I was willing to pay the $2,323.38 to get this issue & an oil leak issue fixed. They replaced the ball joints on my car, and the issue became even worse after they "fixed" it. Before there was scrubbing, but after their "repair," my steering wheel vibrated uncontrollably. They asked me to bring my car back in, & I proceeded to bring in my car at least 6 times from Dec until Mar. They even gave me a "free" oil change for my inconvenience because it was time for another one while they were figuring out the problem. Keep in mind because they are only open M-F, and I only had the one car, I'd have to drop my car off, take a Lyft to work, and then Lyft back to their establishment after work each time. Not to mention, I had to leave work early to get back before they closed, so I was unpaid over those three months for those hours I had to leave for their establishment, which I really couldn't afford. And let's talk about the Lyft fees: those 12 Lyft rides averaged about $16 one way. One of my coworkers bought one of those vouchers same time I did, & from seeing how much a hassle I had with this one issue, she never used her vouchers with All Around. At the tail end of this experience, the mechanic confidently proclaimed that they fixed my car, but the shake was still there. He explained that he fixed my car so well, that it highlighted an underlying issue with my car, and it was no longer their problem that the car was still making noises and shaking. I received a text asking about my experience with All Around from the owner, which prompted me to call him and voice my frustration with this problem. The manager Perry then clarified for the mechanic that no, they intended on my coming back and fixing my car the right way. So after months of dealing with them, the problem was fixed after I complained to the owner within that week. But this experience doesn't come close to my most recent experience. On Thurs 9/29, I went in for an oil change, & I am used to the drill: I pay my $5 for them to tell me everything wrong with my car. Expected. But ironically, one of the things "wrong" with my vehicle was a valve cover gasket issue, which was a service THEY performed earlier (in the paragraph above), so I was still in warranty. I was told that I could have that free warranty service performed when I had my oil changed. But they couldn't do it TH. Why? Because I came at 4:30pm. Why did I come at 4:30pm? Because I was not about to Lyft to work & leave my car with them. But then, I was told that it maybe it wasn't their fault after all: it was the valve cover and not the gasket. Whatever. Here's the major problem: they found an "issue" with my brakes that needed immediate attention. Now I had a major issue with my brakes a month before: my pedal was going all the way to the floor. I had my brake lines bled and my brake pads changed, & the issue went away. The mechanic proceeded to tell me that my brake caliper was missing a bolt. He said I had to leave my car there because it was unsafe to drive. I told them I wouldn't & he made me sign a waiver which says that my car was unsafe to drive & I agreed that if I don't get the "problem" fixed, I could never get my car serviced at All Around again. Now, the mechanic never even gave me pricing for fixing this life-threatening "issue". They took pics of a leak my car had & added that to my inspection report, but failed to take any pics of this elusive missing pin that made my car a death machine. So I decided to get a 2nd & 3rd opinion: I went to two different Brake Plus locations this past Fri afternoon & Sat morning. I had them do thorough brake inspections. Neither placed mentioned a brake caliper issue, & when I brought it up specifically, they still couldn't find a problem. I now have indisputable proof that this is a dishonest establishment. Those last remaining couple $5 oil changes left is not worth it. This place is shameful and I will never be back. read more

My wife visited this shop 2 weeks ago. We purchased a set of 6 oil change coupons for 87 dollars. The set says FREE Oil Change, Lube and Filter, and FREE four rotation tire service. This place DID NOT HONOR what the coupon says. AAAC charged us 35 dlls instead. If you guys ARE NOT going to honor coupons do not send your sales people/agents to distribute them. Called for a quote on front brakes & rotors. Quote came in slightly under others so I brought it in. I was told 2-3 hours so I chose to wait it out since there's a nice walking path nearby. 30 minutes after drop off I get an initial inspection. They show me a panel of liquids. I learn some things and assume they're well on their way. I get an email about 2 hours in with a full inspection report. Nice gesture. Again, learned some things. 2 and a half hours in, I get a call. They're bringing some parts in. 25% adjustment up in price and they offer me a list of other repairs. I decline the other repairs and accept the price change. No problem still. I make my way back around the 4 hour mark. They offer me pizza. They're incredibly nice all around. They've offered me a full tour of the shop, offered me pizza, and the guy I've set this all up with is as friendly and straight forward as can be. After a few minutes being back they ask me to come look at the car. Despite them knowing what the car is before I come in and despite the detailed inspection report they're just learning they have to repack the bearings. The original quote price tripled and I'm offered financing. I declined and drove it home. Long story short, I called around and made sure the other places I collected quotes from knew they needed to repack the bearings. They were aware. I took it to the closest place and their out the door price was a third of All Around's. I don't think I was being taken for a ride. They weren't taking advantage of me. But, ultimately, they didn't know what they were looking at. And that is worth passing on. I would get a second opinion if your quote was hiked up as much as mine. They're incredibly nice and I wouldn't hesitate to reach out to them in the future. read more

Just want to help you with your automobile needs. No extra stuff to up sell you, just frank and honest. So close to my house so I'm lucky I stumbled across it. Someone came last fall (I think) selling a coupon book with deals. Need a place to regularly service my car so figures what the hell. Besides I've gone to the nearby Meineke and was not remotely satisfied These folks do a good job and I've only stopped in once a few months ago. There is always an explanation provided for what they have found and services that are recommended. They also base their recommendations off our plans for the vehicle. if you plan on having the vehicle for a long time they will make a plan for that. Andy either didn't know what was going on or lied to me the entire time my car was in his shop. They also broke my glove box opener while trying to get my paperwork. COVID-19: They were careful to always wear their masks and stay distanced. I was able to make an appt for only a week out. They took pictures of everything as they went and sent the reports to me via text, as well as talking to me in person to let me know. I bought a voucher card from a door-to-door salesman who represented that I would get 3 free oil changes and tire rotations. He also stated that an upcharge for synthetic oil might be required. The voucher stated that the service would take 60-90 minutes. I made an appointment for 10:30. My car was not done until 3:00 - 4 1/2 hours later. When I picked it up they wanted to charge an addition $65ish. I asked why whereupon the owner emerged and proceeded to give me a rundown on how he made his workers 6 figures (which is not nearly the standard rate of $50k which I researched) and he had depreciation costs, and he had overhead, and he was losing money... He offered to reimburse my voucher. But his tech had taken my voucher to cut a coupon and apparently lost it. Since his tech lost my voucher - I asked for a replacement. They gave me a number to call at marketing. Three days later the woman returned my call and said I would be CHARGED $27+ change for a new voucher.I explained what service I received at Motospa and he said that his service people were highly trained, not some 'kid off the street'. It's an OIL CHANGE! I explained I get 4 free car washes with Motospa. He said my car was washed and it was the best wash EVER. My car Was NOT washed. My voucher was stolen and they misrepresented the entire system of upcharging resulting in an effective oil change fee of $150 with NO car wash - double what I was paying at Motospa. I now have wasted MY Time, energy and MONEY for a scam and I am NOT HAPPY! I highly recommend that anyone else having similar issues report these to the Better Business Bureau and the Secretary of State. I've used a few different shops in the area but this one is definitely one of the best! They have a fantastic digital inspection which provides you with photos, and helpful info to make a well informed decision. I'm treated kindly and have always gotten excellent service here. Some of the poor reviews I see here are just silly. Someone complaining about an oil change coupon? If you can't afford to pay for the most basic maintenance on a vehicle, maybe you should ride a bike? Just sayin. Someone else mentioning the oil change took too long but a friendly reminder; this is a full-service shop. Completely different from a Quick Lube. Hence the name, "QUICK" Lube. It's disheartening when people's expectations are way out of whack and they get mad; they leave silly reviews. When things go well, they don't say a word. Boy I was wrong a friend of mine notice a small oil leak on my drive way and he took it to his shop and there was a massive oil leak on the bottom of my engine and my friend and his boos did the oil change for free and all around did not replace my oil filter. So in my opinion this place needs better workers I mean you must not be getting business if you have to go out and fish for work. I was here several months ago. I had an emergency with my car in Denver. (Threw the serpentine belt.) I live in the mountains, so my only recourse was to call the nearby auto repair shops. All Around Auto Care went above and beyond in understanding my situation. They could have told me that they were booked all day, and asked me to set an appointment for the next day, like the 3 shops I called before All Around; but they didn't. They told me that if I could get my car to their shop, they'd find an opening in their schedule to help me. All in all, I was only there for 2 hours, maybe less. The staff was friendly and welcoming. And the prices were extremely reasonable. If I lived nearby, this would be the place I brought my car for repairs I can not do on my own. Great business!! read more

In short: Find another mechanic Absolute trash of a company. If "Perry" is assigned to your truck or car, I highly suggest requesting someone else. Better yet, DON'T GO HERE. I brought my truck in for an oil change & a battery replacement. Post inspection it turned out I was also in need of a transmission fluid flush. With this information I agreed to a bill of under $450 & the truck would be ready the next day. I received 1 call at the end of the next day to tell me it needs more work ... and they'd be keeping it for 3 more days ... 2 days & 10 phone calls later I was finally able to reach "Perry" to request a final quote. I didn't receive it until the next day ... The quote I had expected to be $450 came out to $4000 .... AND they had already done the work with no signed consent!!! FUCK "All Around Auto Care" & FUCK you "Perry" I would highly suggest finding another mechanic. This is a joke of an establishment. They WILL screw you over. read more

I recently moved up north to Westminster and thought I might want to try to find a new car shop closer to my new house. Found this place online and it had pretty good reviews, so I decided to give it a try. Made an appointment for 8:00am, was told that my car would be pulled in to be looked at at that time and that I could leave it to go to work. I dropped it off at 7:30am on the day of my appointment, and the guy working appeared to check me in for my appointment on the computer. All was good so far. I received a call at 10:30, answered it thinking I would hear their recommendations and diagnostics. Instead, I hear "we see you had an appointment at 8am, what happened?" Yep, they lost my car. I informed them that nothing happened, and that my car should be there. I called back 10 minutes later to make sure they didn't actually lose my car. They hadn't, but how do you make this mistake? My fiancé called around 1:00 to see if there were any updates. They informed him that the car was "difficult to diagnose" because apparently I had "2000-3000 pounds" of stuff in my car. I am a traveling therapist, so I did have some exercise balls and games in my car, but there is no way it totaled that much weight unless it all suddenly was made of pure gold or lead. It felt very disrespectful. They didn't have my car looked at until 2:30pm. My appointment was at 8:00. Go figure. I said no thank you, picked up my key, paid them $35 for the privilege, and went back to my old shop near my old house - they did more work than this shop for $500 less than this shop wanted. Lesson learned, the extra drive is worth it for a better experience. read more

I hate to leave a bad review, but I feel people need to be warned about this place. We have gone here a year and liked them, and always ended up spending a grand or more, knowing they weren't the cheapest, but still liking their customer service. I brought my car in for an oil change, brakes and a wheel bearing replacement, and when I got it back it immediately started stalling and dying. I took it back for them to fix the problem they most likely caused. Probably an accident, I don't think it was done on purpose, someone may have bumped a wire or something. They had it for 10 days and didn't call to update me on the progress once, like they said they would. They couldn't find the problem, so I went to get the car and once I was there, was informed that a tire had a nail in it and they had put on the spare without telling me. I had just had the tires rotated the day before I brought it in, and they were fine when I dropped them off. After 3 days of calling and asking how they are going to deal with this other issue, I talked to the manager and he says It's not the shop's responsibility to replace the tire, even though it was in their possession when the flat occurred. So now, in addition to having to pay for a rental car because of the problem they caused, I have to buy a whole new set of tires because It's an all wheel drive vehicle. Now I'm out a couple of grand because of their sloppiness. We are bummed because we really liked them, but this really sucks. You can take your chances there, but just hope there aren't any bad coincidences or accidents because they will not take responsibility. Edit: took the car to another mechanic and he fixed it in 2 hours. All Around couldn't do it in 10 days. They Don't know what they are doing. read more

He's great at explaining exactly what's going on, and what my options are for solving any problems my car has. Very poor customer service. I made a appointment for a oil change for my sons car which I then told the gentleman on the phone I had a coupon that I purchased that he would get his oil changed for five dollars he said ok great. I Then asked him if that coupon would work for full synthetic oil change he said yes there would just be a price difference due to the synthetic oil . I said ok that would be fine. I told him the make and model of my car , I then informed him that they would be no longer be changing the oil in a Chevy impala for my sons car iOPt would be a grand prix now he said ok great gave me the times for the oil changes. So my son went in on the day and time of his oil change gave one gentleman the coupon . When they were finished they charged him 52 dollars. He came home and told so I then called them and asked them why was it 52 dollars it should have been 5 dollars they transferred me the other man then said they put synthetic oil in his 2006 grand prix , I told him that it should have just been a regular oil change that my 2018 dodge durango was the one that needed the synthetic oil he said ok I'm sorry I can credit you the money back on your account for the dodge Durango that would be going in for a oil change later that day because they messed up on there end on the scheduling and in the computer I said ok that would fine .then called me back and said he could not credit me the money back because my son and his friend okayed the synthetic oil , I told him that my son may look like a grown man due to his beard but he is a young kid and does not even know what synthetic oil is my husband has to tell him what kind of oil to buy . The man then told me sorry that he could not honor the credit to my account because his customers dont have knowledge to what they are are agreeing to, I told him that that was very poor customer service and I felt like they hustled my son . He just kept telling me that it's not his fault my son doesn't know what he agreed to . I told him that it was there mistake in the computer system because . I cancelled my service there and I will never go back again or refer anyone . I just feel very disappointed in the service. Because at the end of the day the info was entered wrong on there end . Even when I received email confirming the oil changes they still had the car as a chevy impala which I clearly told him it would no longer be a impala it would be a grand prix . read more

I was referred to them after I had problems with another local shop. They scheduled me for an oil change and then I found out I needed brakes! I had asked the other place about my brakes and they said they were fine. Good thing I caught this before I needed new rooters? I had another appointment scheduled so they let me use their car so I could get to it. An hour later it was completed and I drove away with my serviced car! I know enough about my car to know when it needs help and these guys seem to know their stuff. Everyone here is friendly and they have a nice place to wait if you need that too.
