Absolute scammer. He estimated 45 min for my car. I knew the adjustment I needed should've have taken no more than 30 min, but I let it slide figuring they were just busy with other cars. He had it for nearly 2 hours before calling me to tell me he couldn't do anything to adjust the brakes unless he tore the whole thing open, which would've cost me $1400. I told him I'd look elsewhere. They held onto my car for nearly another hour to just put the tire back on! When I got there, they said they cleaned the drums and pads and everything, which I didn't ask them to, and then he charged me for that work. Dude's shop is a scam. I took it elsewhere and they took 25 min, didn't have to take anything off the car, and it works like a charm now. read more

I'm thankful that I found this shop, which helped me in a time of need. Flew into the Denver airport in the wee hours of the morning, got to my car, started it. It shook and shuddered and sputtered even after I warmed it up, and as I drove down 120th Avenue -- I didn't dare get on the highway -- I could tell that the engine was dropping one of its four cylinders. The cylinder was either firing intermittently, dieseling (firing badly due to compression rather than a spark), or not firing at all. I could get the car to limp into town, but I wasn't going to make it home to Wyoming without getting it fixed. So, I checked online to see if I could locate a competent, honest mechanic and found recommendations for this shop. I pulled into their parking lot, reclined the seat, and napped the few hours until dawn to see if they could look at my car when they opened. They said they'd had some cancellations that morning and got right to it while I petted their friendly dogs and drank some coffee. They were quick and competent, were clever in the way they identified the problem (it was a bad ignition coil, which they pinpointed by switching the coils around), fixed not only the problem but the CAUSE of the problem (a leaky valve cover which had fouled the coil with oil), and did not overcharge me. Under new ownership. Beware of the good reviews as those were under the old shop owner and the mechanic that used to work there that took pride in their work. In January I took my Jeep in with an engine knocking noise..connecting rod issue. Paid $4,168 cash to get a rebuilt engine. My Jeep was there 3 weeks. I was back in the shop 10 different times between February, when I got my Jeep back, and April with issues with loss of power, engine light on, and still knocking in the engine (it even broke down on me twice leaving me to be towed) Mind you I already had a rebuilt transmission installed prior to this..) I was diverted to the transmission shop saying it must be that so finally my transmission shop took that transmission off and took video to show Jeff it was in fact not my transmission. My Jeep continued to have/hear the knocking in the engine so I kept returning it to the shop with no resolve except when I was told to get a nice set of ear plugs and it would be barely noticeable. So finally fed up I took my Jeep to the dealership where they took apart the entire engine and found it was not fixed. They took photos of everything and walked me through everything that was damaged on this replacement engine. It was still the connecting rod causing the knocking issue..amongst many other items that showed this was not a rebuilt engine. So now I'm paying another place thousands of dollars to correct and do what I paid this shop to do. If you need the proof..please feel free to reach out to me and I'll happily provide receipts, videos, photos, to anyone as surely I have better things to spend another $4000-$5000 on as opposed to having yet another engine installed 2 and a half months after this engine was installed -_- I'd hate to think someone else gets taken advantage of like I have been. To at least unsure that doesnt happen, I will be sharing this experience everywhere and am filing in small claims court since any and every attempt to resolve this issue with Jeff was not met. Even the Tom Martino Troubleshooter show tried to get this settled with no courtesy from Northglenn..so even they declared this is a shady operation on air. read more

Jeff and his crew have always been straight with me. They charge fair prices and the work has been excellent over the past 5 years.

Normally, I try to give businesses the benefit of the doubt and specifically seek places with good reviews before depending on them. I thought I made a good choice with this place because of this, but I was mistaken. I called ahead to see if they had any openings for my car which had its Check Engine light on and was locked out of cruise control because of it. The person on the phone assured me it could be looked at Tuesday morning (7/7), and so I left my vehicle there the night before. I hadn't received a call on Tuesday and was unable to reach them after work (and checked to see they close at 4 pm now due to COVID). I left a message and was called back the next morning by the mechanic, and he said the problem was a leaky solenoid that was difficult to get to. Long story short, it would take about 7 hours to take apart the car and replace a pump that may or may not be the issue, and it would cost about $1300 total. I hadn't expected the steep cost but was later assured by the receptionist that costs don't usually go up that high and he generally estimates high as a precaution. I needed the car fixed, so I agreed. On Thursday, I was given a time frame for how long the part would take to deliver (which was not talked about before), and apparently it hadn't even shipped yet, but I was told with it being sent overnight, I could have my car by Friday afternoon. I did not receive a call on Friday, I called at 3:40 pm with no answer, and they're closed on the weekend. My wife and I now lacked a car for the weekend with our newborn baby. After leaving the message on Friday, I get my phone call Monday after 9 am saying the part was delayed and that I would have my car repaired by Tuesday (7/14). After getting a confirmation call mid-Tuesday morning, I could finally pick up my vehicle. I wanted to discuss my car with the mechanic, but I guess they all leave by 3 pm. Possibly one of the worst experiences I've had with a repair shop, and I ended up paying $1400. I only rated them a 2 because of how polite they were and the fact that my car was at least fixed. Started out good ,we brought it in for a noise in the front end of the truck, and Chris told us that it was the front end. He suggested putted tie rod ends on it and a wheel bearing. So we thought great and had them do the work. When we got the truck back, it still had the same noise it had originally. We took the truck to our mechanic and he informed us that it was the transmission. Needless to say we were taken for 1400 dollars we did not need to spend. Since then they do Not answer our calls so we can even inquire about their misdiagnosis and to work out a resulution to this. We could not recommend them to anyone !!! read more

Once again Mike and crew has done right by us. Our "new to us" Audi A4 refused to start. My husband was pretty sure the starter had gone out or something major with the fuel line. We had it towed to Northglenn Auto expecting to invest a chunk to get it running again. They called within hours to tell us that it was just flooded (probably due to spark plugs without appropriate spark) It was ready by 5 that evening and is running great!! They easily could have bumped up the bill on stuff we didn't need, but they just don't do business that way. We asked for them to just put the key under the mat so we could pick it up after work. But, the funky spare key we had left them wasn't working to lock the door and when we got there to pick it up around 6 pm, they had stayed to wait for us rather than risk leaving the door unlocked. Now THAT'S above and beyond. I have always had a mistrust of mechanics, but Mike has "cured" me. I cannot imagine going anywhere else with our cars!!! read more

I took my truck in to have some diagnosis and get a rough idle worked out on a new (6 month old factory reconditioned) carburetor. They called me the next day and said that the carb was "junk." They might have been right but I became very skeptical when I explained that the carb was fairly new asked if they would look at it and find out why it was junk. An hour later they called and the engine was "junk" and would do any more work without a new engine. They then called ten minutes later and said "you're in luck, I happen to have a motor that an other customer backed out on. Only $3000." They did basically nothing and charged $120 for that. read more

In the past, we have taken our cars to the associated auto dealerships due to warranty and other obligations only to find that they constantly try to upsell us on maintenance or even repair and the price they quote is extremely high. We followed up with Northglenn Auto to get a comparison, and each time they beat the dealerships price, and even tell us candidly that some of the things the dealership says requires repair, in fact, doesn't. Northglenn auto repair is a great shop run by honest, value minded people. They take care of your vehicle in a timely manner and are not strangers to doing work on the house if the situation calls for it. The bottom line is they value every customer and will do whatever it takes to get your vehicle running well. I brought my Sienna mini-van to them after a different shop botched a cylinder job and the van smelled strongly of gasoline. At first they diagnosed it as a catalytic converter and replaced it. I brought it back three weeks later still smelling strongly of gasoline and after another check they discovered a valve gasket was crimped, causing vapor to escape.
