I worked with Bobby at Berg Performance and had a really phenomenal experience. To start with, I had some scheduling issues on my end and Bobby was really understanding and flexible with getting my Porsche Boxster in for a post-purchase inspection. Beyond that, Bobby, went above and beyond with not just the inspection, but also the conversation he had with me when I came in to pick up the car. He talked me through all of the items of concern he found (there were a lot) and advised me on the best way to move forward. Finally, they gave me a free t-shirt, hat, and sticker on my way out and the shirt fits me really well! The hat is a bit oddly shaped which is a bit unfortunate but let's be honest, if the only complaint I have about a mechanic is that the free hat they gave me looks kind of funny on my head then I think they are fine. Overall, I would highly recommend Berg for not just people who are looking for an excellent professional to do all the work for you, but also for DIYers who need a diagnosis. I'm normally not impressed with a shop when I feel like they don't understand my questions or I know more about the vehicle than them but that's not the case here. I was turned down by many shops since they deemed it too challenging of an install and not worth the risk. I contacted Berg Performance and they were very professional and helpful with the entire process of setting up an appointment, to explaining in detail why it would take the hours and cost quoted to complete the install. A while ago, I had to have my fuel pump replaced and have a sensor issue on my VW GLI addressed. Normally I would have gone to German Motors but past repairs there have been extremely costly and Berg said they could have my car back in driving condition quickly. Not only was the shop immaculate and the service friendly and communicative, they gave me a significant deal on the repairs and the turnaround time was speedy. I used to go to 3zero3 Motorsports and they were good enough to go there over the dealership, but ever since discovering Berg... I can't look at 3zero3 the same. Berg is easily leaps and bounds better in terms of customer service, quality of work, availability, and price. I can't recommend Berg Performance enough! If you have a VW, Audi... I don't know if they do more to be honest lol, but if you have a VW or Audi, don't even hesitate to come here! If I had one criticism, it'd be the location of the shop. I'm not really sure where to begin, other than the fact that these guys are THE BEST. So last October I picked up an S5 and shortly after decided that I wanted to do some minor upgrades. A local Audi dealer actually recommended Aaron and his guys over at Berg Performance. I took it in to have a new exhaust and intake put onto the car and man does it sound incredible now. When I went in to pick it up after a day's work Aaron told me that there was definitely something wrong with the clutch. Essentially this car was purchased by me with 12k miles and I have never owned an Audi before so I didn't realize that the pressure in the clutch wasn't right. Since the car still has some warranty left on it, I tried my luck with the local Audi dealer and they wanted to charge me a ridiculous amount to have the entire clutch replaced. Since Aaron was the one that told me there was something wrong in the first place I knew I had to reach out to him to see if he could help me out... Of course he did. Over the last week Aaron, Jeff and Kettl have replaced my entire clutch and all of its' necessary components and they were extremely fair and competitive with the dealer's pricing to do so. Of course, everything in the clutch is OEM because I want it to drive like an Audi is supposed to. I seldom write Yelp reviews anymore, but truth be told I wish that there was something else that I can do for this guys. This review is LONG overdue. We are a German car family, and there is NO ONE on the planet we trust more with our vehicles than Berg. My husband owns a 2002 911 and I recently sold my Cayenne to size down to an Audi A5. I *specifically* would not buy another car outside of the German brands so I could keep coming here. I brought my Audi S3 in to Berg for a Haldex maintenance and rear brake service. Wow, Sean and the crew over there impressed me with the knowledge of the S3 platform. After Sean introduces me to Won who performed the service on my vehicle, he showed me around the shop and explained that they like to build a relationship with the customer and communicate directly tech to customer as opposed to having a receptionist who just takes care of the post-work process. Aaron and Jeff have been nothing short of a pleasure to work with. I needed a Pre Purchase Inspection done on a Porsche Cayenne with almost no notice. They got the car in there same day and left no leaf unturned. They gave me an in depth report of the issues they found and the associated costs involved in fixing them. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I took my tdi for stage 2 tune, full exhaust, and intake. Berg had the car done in one full day. I have 4,000 miles since they worked on it and no sign of engine check light. There was an issue with exhaust clearance and a bit of rattling. Berg had no problem scheduling me back in to fix it, free of charge. These guys do honest, excellent work. Definitely my go to shop for my VW. read more

Aaron and Berg Performance are really as good as it gets (or better if that's possible) in the automotive repair business. I've been bringing my 1993 Audi V8 Quattro to them for a little over a year and I am extremely impressed with their ability to flex and figure out any kind of problem. They never give up on your car and really have an enthusiast mindset that helps to keep these needy old Audi's on the road. I never thought I would find someone with the skill set to tackle the car but they've met that and exceeded it on numerous occasions, troubleshooting ridiculously difficult engine electrical faults until they're solved. Aaron is also extremely fair on pricing, helping out when he can. You know you'll always be treated fairly and courteously. One other wonderful thing about these guys is that they will take the time to explain everything to you, to include showing me the tiny broken parts that were causing spontaneous engine shutdowns. As an enthusiast and a guy with a lot of personal automotive knowledge, I can't tell you how refreshing that is. First time I brought my VW Touareg in a few weeks ago they looked the entire thing over and noted everything that they felt should be addressed.
