DO NOT TRUST HEBRON AUTO YOU'RE BETTER OFF PAYING MORE FOR BETTER SERVICE I brought in a vehicle to replace my spark plugs and check my ignition coils due to having a misfire. After having the service done, they stated that they are unable to resolve the issue and stated that I would need to replace the injectors which would be "inbetween $1500-$1800 if not more". I refused additional work and was told to come pick up the car. After receiving the vehicle I had found that they had broken the ignition coil bolt and neglected to tell me about it until I found it on my OWN at home. I drove 5 miles back home AFTER the bolt was broken off and when I questioned the owner (Kenny) I was told that his technician said it was already like that and when I was asked why I wasn't told about the bolt his excuse was that he has new mechanics and doesn't have time to watch over all of their work. In my opinion he has not been honest with me at all. He failed to mention that his technician had broken a bolt. Then proceeded to tell me that I would need to replace my injectors even though he knew about the damage caused by his employee. After refusing to pay for additional work I was told to come pick up my vehicle but when I arrived, he stated that it will not make it home and that I would need to make arrangements to get it there. I DROVE my car there with a MINOR misfire, now I can't start the vehicle AT ALL. I trusted this business as my recently departed father has swore by them and I've never had issues in the past. I will be looking into my legal options and would advise anyone looking for a mechanic to STAY AWAY from these people. read more

My car wasn't starting for a few days and I found Hebron Auto Service from their very good reviews. And, it is less than a mile and a half from our new home. I called Hebron and the owner, Kenny gave a lot of tips and advice on what to check before bringing it in. I tried jumping it and we checked the oil. Neither did the trick. Hebron referred Jerr-Dan Towing in Thornton to pick up my car (great service, fast pickup and made towing my car on a very snowy day look easy!) and deliver to Hebron. Kenny, the owner, greeted us and talked to us about our vehicle. He gave us tips on how to service my car filling me in on what brand oil, battery, and fluids to use. I got my car back about 24 hours later and paid about what I expected for the service. Docking one star because I did see most of the service people not wearing masks. They weren't as diligent about mask wearing as I would prefer. And, I had to call about the status of my vehicle. I was expecting to hear back from the shop sooner about pickup but I ended up calling around 11am the following day after I dropped my car. read more

About 5-7 years ago I took my Jeep in for an oil change and was treated with so much respect. As a young woman, I get anxious taking my vehicle to get serviced but Kenny has always made me feel comfortable and has explained anything and everything in detail so that I better understand exactly what I need to do in order to take care of my vehicle. But, I had a friend recommend me to come to Hebron to get my car looked at and see what they could do and Kenny not only gave me a temporary fix because I did not have the time to get my car properly fixed when I had brought it in (I need this car to get to work, and at the time I did not have a full day to get it serviced I only had a few hours) he was the only shop that gave me a reasonable quote for the job and he even stayed late to get my car done in a day and I could not thank him enough. I recently suffered a shot fuel pump and Hebron was close to my house. Got my car towed there and found Kenny and the other mechanics to be honest and personable. I was nervous about being upsold with parts I didn't need, but they were honest about only the fuel pump needed replacing and thats it. I found the price to be fair considering the 4 day turn around. A month later, my fuel lines disconnected and gushed gas out from under my Durango. I called and explained that they had recently worked on my fuel pump and maybe didn't connect something correctly. Kenny covered the cost of my tow back to his shop and fixed it at no extra charge, got the car the next day. These guys are hard to find and I fully recommend them. read more

Miscommunication, lack of proper business practices when dealing with large amounts of money, and kinda shady in my experience. First of all, Miles was great. Very friendly, informative, and a no bullshit guy. I think the miscommunication happened between him and his boss, the owner (Kenny), and I gave it such a bad review 100% because of how Kenny runs his business. Here's the story: I had towed my car that broken down on the freeway to Hebron because it had good reviews and it was a small shop, Sunday night. I like to keep local business alive. I then came in the next morning (Monday) to meet Miles there when the shop opened at 8:30AM. Told him the car probably blew the motor, and wanted to see what it would cost to replace it. He confirmed the engine was completely shot. He didn't give me a figure, called the owner, Kenny, and he said "maybe around 3,000 dollars". Miles said, as per Kenny's phone call, that they would shop around for a used engine, and call me either that night or tomorrow to let me know what the quote would be. This is important because that night AND the next day I received no phone call. I called them around 11 AM Wednesday. Miles proceeds to inform me they have removed the engine, and it would be ready soon. Of course I'm perturbed about this because I never approved any work to be done, I didn't sign any papers (which is common), and I was never given a solid quote because they hadn't even found a used motor yet. Completely unbelievable. Miles puts Kenny on the phone and Kenny is very pushy and adamant that the work cost him money to take the motor out and I would have to pay. He said that Miles gave me a quote that Monday morning by saying "about 3000 dollars", and then basically called me a liar by saying I agreed to it. He then suggested that I have to pay for the 700 dollars to remove the engine, I tell him no way am I paying that, it's my property, and he will lose a civil case in court because what he did is considered a "false business practice" and a "unilateral mistake" in legalese. I told him I just want my car back, and to scrap it. That I would meet him half way and not make him properly install the motor back in. Then the guy has the nerve to say "I'll give you 100 dollars for it". This was clearly an attempt at extortion. At that point I knew precisely what Kenny had in mind all along. He wanted to start the work without customer confirmation, so he could get a nice fat check of 3000 dollars or so. This kinda practice isn't unheard of in the auto repair business, because people will either give the junker up and it becomes the property of the business owner through a mechanics lean and 30 days. Or they pressure the person into ponying up the money because they are desperate for a car. Completely unethical if this is what Kenny was doing. Or just plain stupid if he doesn't have policies in place for confirm work to be done in a solid kind of way. Either way, not worth doing business with. Stay far far away. P.S. I had my tow-truck buddy at B and J Enterprise Towing pick up the car, and I sold it to him instead. Incase anyone was wondering how it all turned out. Stand up for your rights, and don't let shady businesses screw you over! read more

Unprofessional and unethical. The owner Kenny had my car for nearly two weeks. He did not call to get permission to make repairs to my vehicle. Instead, he chose to make the repairs and then demand $1,000 and he also replaced a part that was not broken with a used part. Makes no sense whatsoever. Wonder what he planned on doing with my OEM part that wasn't defective. When I calmly explained that he should have called me before any repairs took place he told me he was just going to remove the parts and to come pick up the car. I was referenced by a friend. Hebron told me to leave my car with them at 8:30 they would diagnose the ac that is throwing hot air. Hebron was to call when diagnosis was complete. No word so I stopped by at 2:30. The car was completed, the mechanic said my car needed an ac compresso. he charged me $120.00 with no paperwork. I could not buy the part and have them install. He said $1000 would be their cost for everythin. i purchased a compressor on line and lined up a mechanic to have the system vacuumed, the compressor installed then the system recharge. When talking to the new mechanic he said they were full of it, bring my vehicle in and he would find the problem. Took him 40 minutes to fix. Cost $60.00 temperature coming out of ac 40 degrees. Problem was too much freon in the system. read more

I went to Hebron Auto to get a second opinion after Shortline Subaru did a diagnostic test and told me I needed $900+ dollars worth of repairs to my Subaru Forester. I took my car here because the repair I thought I needed would have been cheaper but they called me and told me that the diagnosis I got at the dealership was wrong and I only needed a much cheaper repair. He was very thorough and got my car fixed very quickly. The shop was shockingly clean and organized and I felt like the mechanic took the time to show me what he had done even though I got there late on a Friday and I'm sure he was wanting to go home. Last Aug 2018, I took my Cruze into Kenny to replace the motor for the drivers side window. He fixed it and I was very happy with the service and cost. However, last Tues, Mar 12,2019 I heard something fall inside the door and my window dropped and wouldn't work again. I called Kenny and they had me take it in today for them to look at. RJ fixed it on the spot and Kenny said there was no charge. They replaced the motor with a better one and sent me on my way. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS SHOP! Came to this shop based on all the good reviews I saw here. My cars heat was not working and I was having trouble starting it as well. $850 dollars later Kenny said my car was fixed. Two days later I was not able to turn my car on, I called Kenny and his response was to bring my car to him the next day. Not sure how I was getting my car to him if I couldn't turn it on? So, I had to pay for a tow to take it to him. When I get there he has another mechanic look at it and they figure it's my starter that went out, Kenny wanted to charge me $300.00 additional dollars to fix it. I told him he was crazy and that I had just given him $850 two days prior to this that my car should be at least running. We argued for an hour, finally with getting no where I had to tow it again to my Dad's house. My dad was able to change the starter. After I could finally turn my car on, I realized my car heat was still not working and my car was leaking. I took it back to Kenny and told him I wanted my money back. He refused to give me my money back and claimed that he had fixed all the issues that were wrong three days before. All I wanted was my money back because he clearly didn't fix anything on my car. If I take my car to you and tell you I'm having trouble starting it and that my heat doesn't work, I expect that if I pay $850 that these issues will be fixed.
