Wow had the burrito and was the first time trying it! Flavorful, filling and the layers of the filling was perfect. Was honestly really surprised! Also had the cinnamon chip pancakes and was sweet but not overwhelming and the little chips were a nice surprise. Didn't get a picture if the pancakes because I ate them right away! Totally recommend this place! read more

Excellent place for mornings indeed. Going out to this restaurant made me so happy! I love the interior, the rustic design; simple and cute. Both me and my foodie partner loved everything about it. The service is nothing subpar, wonderful service from our waitress. She was all smiles. As first timers there, we had a handful of questions and asked for recommendations from her. She definitely had good taste. We ordered two clubs from the menu; and for me I ordered tomorrow soup separately. Great coffee, great food, and great service. For another time, we're looking forward to trying different entrees on the menu. We even kept the little papers that held our utensils together. They seem to be pretty detailed on the restaurant's theme. The food was sooooo good!!! First Watch is on our watch for another time. :) read more

Our first time here. We both had the crab cakes Benedict and it was amazing. We also had the kale juice from the juice bar. Sweetened with Fuji apples and cucumber, it was delicious. The service was excellent with very friendly and attentive staff. We are definitely coming back here and recommend trying it for anyone who has not been here. read more

First watch has become our spot, we probably visit first watch at least 4 times a week, their simple breakfast is delicious and it has perfect portion sizes. And let me tel you their iced coffee!!! Delicious you guys have to try it specially if you are an iced coffee lover! They have a whole selection of different healthy foods, and to top it off their prices are great we always end up paying about 30 bucks for two coffee and two big breakfast plates read more

Cute brunch place that's fast and easy. I usually wait maybe 15-30 minutes. I enjoy how they have seasonal choices on the menu. I ordered the bacon Benedict, omelette, and açaí bowl. Service is good, everyone I've had the dozen times I've been here have been nice and attentive. read more

I've been to a couple First Watch places. I'm not sure how many they have in Tucson. This location is significantly better than the other one. The hostess greeted us as soon as we opened the door. We were seated immediately and offered a beverage. Then our waitress came around to tell us about the menu. She made several very good recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfasts and drinks. Since we were looking for a quiet place to converse over a meal, this was absolutely perfect. read more

I stopped by after a doctor's appointment because everyone raves about the food here. I have to admit it was my second time. I returned because I was so underwhelmed with my first visit that I had to give them another chance to wow me. I had the salmon eggs Benedict which has always been a favorite of mine. I thought the dish would actually be a slice of fresh salmon but in was a the style of salmon you'd buy packaged in a grocery store. Unfortunately it was rather a slimy slice and was somewhat tasteless. The million dollars bacon was super tasty but not worth the price. The portions were somewhat small for the price I paid. I had a bloody mary and a 'to go' juice. The bloody was excellent but, again, a small size for the price. My second visit was as underwhelming as my first visit. I did notice the restaurant tables were only filled about 1/4 to capacity. It was a busy time so that probably says at all. The service was EXCELLENT and I tipped well because she deserved to be acknowledged for her service. I probably won't return and I'll stick to the mom and pop places I usually go to. read more

This was our second visit, and it was another great experience. The staff is so friendly which can be hard to find these days. It really does make a difference and is much appreciated! And the food is yummy. read more

We had the pleasure of having Robbie as our server and let me tell you... he is such a wonderful and polite young man. We had one person who had some dietary restrictions and he went through the menu helping her find something that was within her limitations. He went above and beyond with that kind gesture but realized we were also all athletes who just finished a very difficult ride and he recommended these amazing juices that are great for recovery from the juice bar. Although we were visiting from out of town I will be sure to stop at our new favorite restaurant, First Watch and ask for Robbie once again. read more

Our experience was 100% positive. The omlettes were wonderfully portioned and delicious. The pancake we enjoyed was the perfect texture, and the syrup was warm. Our waitress made a suggestion for a wonderful beverage called red medicine. It was a combination of cranberry, pomegranate juice, and black iced tea. The atmosphere in the store was friendly and warm. Our waitress, Skyler, was attentive and caring even though the restaurant was busy! We will be back! read more

Dined in on Mother's Day. We added our names to the waitlist before arriving because we know how long they can be on a weekend, highly suggest. There may have been a mixup in the back of house when delivering our food because it arrived luke warm, but of course understanding given how busy they were. I enjoyed the elevated egg sandwich and potatoes while he had the works omelet. Aside from the temperature of the food, the portions were perfect and items still tasted good. read more

Have been here many times and came back today because it's been a while. Had a short wait and got a table on the patio. It was nice except we were by the door and we could feel the AC blowing on us as the employees came in and out. I had the traditional breakfast: two eggs, a meat of your choice, toast, and potatoes for 9.99. I think the price has gone up since we were there last. Everything was great except the turkey sausage--they were links and just not very appetizing. My partner had the hash skillet (farmhouse) which was about $11. My partner said it was pretty good but not a good onion to egg ratio, aka too many onions. Coffee was great and orange juice decent. Overall a good experience but a little pricey for a weekly breakfast outing. Also the check-out area is slightly chaotic since it was crowded with a lot of people--you'd think they would calculate a little more space for that since it's a fairly big restaurant. read more

Great breakfast experience. Had avocado toast and eggs. Granddaughters had chocolate chip pancakes and sausage, what's not to love. Maybe they are understaffed, but one of the worst things a restaurant can do is create long waiting lists and have a gaggle of people hanging around the front entrance when large numbers of tables are empty and set. It conveys incompetence. If they are understaffed, it means demand exceeds supply. Raise your wages and your prices. read more

Hostess said Corporate requires them to play music. I am very sensitive to noise. Puts me on edge. My two male friends were happy as they always are when they get a pretty waitress and they tipped well, and subsidized my tip. I got the triathealon. Dirty fork. No water. Pico de gallo was just dry tasteless tomato cubes. Fruit was ok except for tasteless honey dew. Jelly served in cup had a thick skin. This is 8am - probably left over from day before. Chili peppers were not completely skinned leading to several spits into napkin. I will not be back. read more

I frequent the eastside locations where I have had positive experiences with excellent service and consistently great tasting food! Today I happened to be on the northwest side of Tucson and decided to stop at the Oracle location where I did not get my sit down order and I had to walk out. What happened: I chose to sit at the community table since it was just me. The restaurant was busy, but not unusual for First Watch. I found it odd that it still took longer than you would expect for a server to come over and offer beverages and take an order. This was to the point I had to ask the host if someone knew I was seated and waiting. Finally a server took my order. Again another unusually long wait to get coffee that was luke warm, but I did not say anything. I had been at the restaurant waiting for 30 minutes and still no food. I called the server over to inquire and she didn't know the status of my order. I let her know I needed to leave. She didn't even offer to comp me for the lukewarm coffee. I still paid for it. Actually, it appeared as if she didn't really care that a customer was leaving the establishment dissatisfied with the service. Afterwards I did follow up with a call to the manager, who said, I was just bringing your food out when I was told you left. I had no idea there was a problem and the server could have comped you your coffee. I told her that my other First Watch experiences have never been like the disappointing one I had today at her location. She stated they were shorthanded, but I let her know that the server didn't even follow up to let me know, hey your order is on its way or thank you for patience we are shorthanded today. That I would try to work with, but this type of customer service was not even exhibited. That was it. I usually do not write reviews like this on Yelp, but this needed to come to someone's attention as it reflects poorly on the rest of this chain's locations. I am here to tell you go to the east side locations, they do an excellent job! read more

Seeing all the positive reviews we had to try. What a huge disappointment Ordered the Eggs Benedict like I always do at a new place we try... HORRIBLE!!! No flavor, the "ham" was sliced lunch meat and the bread they put it on was tasteless. The Hollandaise sauce was thin and no flavor at all .... water that is what it was. My husband got the Bacado and he liked it. His multi grain bread was yummy. Clean and very nice staff. read more

A hidden gem! We stumbled across by mistake, had a little bit of a wait, but well worth it!

Up and at em at 8AM on Sunday morning. Yeah Baby, Carpe Diem! Let's start the day with a nice heavy breakfast. Upscale Denny's with lots of Bougie offerings. Kale and stuff. Velvet had the Florentine eggs Benedict. Fresh heirloom tomatoes, cage free eggs, avocado on cibatta bread. Velvet said fabulous. I had the biscuits with sausage gravy. They just walked the turkey past the gravy. I like to see sausage in the gravy. Scrambled eggs were undercooked. Ordered the "million dollar" bacon. OK if bacon were a desert this would be it. Sugar cured, fried then drisseled with maple syrup. Coffee pots on the table which is great. Service by Samantha was spot on. read more

Got there really early and were seated immediately which we were told is not the norm. Music was a tad weird but got better. Very nice spot designed to handle a crowd. For my birthday my friend sent me breakfast for this place. I got the French toast, eggs, bacon, potatoes, toast, fruit, and a drink. Absolutely delicious...and I was eating it cold because I was too lazy to heat it back up. My boyfriend ended up finishing it later (and heated it up) and he liked it as well. Definitely will need to stop by here in person soon. Only reason I gave the review 4 instead of 5 stars was because I got old fruit, other than that...highly recommend! read more

We went to get breakfast with the free one for birthday. We were told the wait would be about 20 minutes. It was busy, we sat to wait. Brunch here was extremely delicious!! I ordered a bacon avocado omelette and I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh all the ingredients were. The flavor combination of the avocado, bacon, tomatoes, and sour cream made this omelette close to being the best I've ever had. Prices were very reasonable, especially since my meal also came with perfectly baked and seasoned potatoes and 2 pieces of toast with strawberry jam. Service was super quick and attentive to us, making sure we had everything we needed, but also allowing us space to talk. Overall, great meal and atmosphere! read more
