The food here is amazing. Unique and great flavors. The service is great too. Even though it was busy we always had our drinks filled and never really waited for anything. Server checked on us often. The meal was satisfying and we left full. Restaurant was clean and a little noisy due to the crowds. But it was pleasant to be there. The chickichanga was very flavorful and chicken was moist. The blueberry lemon muffin was AMAZING! Sweet but not overly sweet and super moist. Hubby loved his avocado toast with smoked salmon and fruit. He normally doesn't order food like that but saw someone else with it and wanted to try it. He also loved the morning mediation drink with the beet and orange juice with ginger and tumeric. Just me that came in for breakfast after shopping early at Costco. Was greeted by a very nice young man to seat me. Then I had the most wonderful server, Josh. He treated me like a queen. They were very busy, because of the time of the year. But Josh never rushed me. He was very attentive and my food came right out. I had a light breakfast of their fresh seasoned potatoes and shared a plate of their holy donuts. The holy donuts were tasty and went well their coffee which was brought in a carafe (great idea). The seasoned potatoes were a disappointment. They were lukewarm and likely reheated from the previous day. Service was excellent and the ambiance pleasant. The gentleman when we checked in said it was about a 25 minute wait however we ended up waiting about 35 minutes to get seated. Credit to them when we did get seated they were relatively quick to get our food out to us. The food was delicious. Ordered the breakfast tacos and million dollar sandwich. We just had a very pleasant experience at this location for Easter brunch! Although they were packed we had no problem getting sat quickly, we opted for the bar since we were just two people. Everything was delightful. They were very busy for a week day, but still provided good service and refilled the coffee as needed. First Watch is always a solid choice, and this new location is very enjoyable. The space is bright and airy and doesn't feel crowded in any way. Our server was very bubbly and attentive without being overbearing. She offered an iced tea to go when we departed. The orange juice for the mimosa (some assembly required) was excellent. My chicken protein bowl with quinoa was outstanding. I like the option to pay with your phone right at the table; scan, Apple Pay, and off you go. Very convenient. The only oddity of our entire experience was our bowls of soup and our entree were brought out at the same time. I don't know if this is normal or not, but it does contribute to an "overwhelming" feeling when all the food is put on the table at once. A lovely breakfast experience. We went pretty early on Saturday morning. There was a lot of seats available and we were seated pretty far apart from the other diners towards the back of the restaurant. First Watch seems to put a lot of emphasis on their coffee, so I got a cup of hot coffee. It was ok, freshly brewed but not standing out in flavor. I loved that there was a giant mound of creamer out on our table, and the waitress left the carafe so that I could pour myself as much as I wanted. Our food came out fairly quickly. I got the breakfast power wrap, which was a little drippy but hearty. The Crimini was nice and strong in flavor, and the pico de Gallo was so neat and flavorful. The fruit salad that came on the side was probably the nicest looking fruit bowl I've seen at a restaurant... the fruits were really sweet, especially the berries. My brother got the Million Dollar Breakfast Sandwich, which was a seasonal item. He said everything was good, though he wasn't sure if he'd pay a million bucks for the bacon. Overall, this was one of the better breakfasts I had during my Arizona trip. While nothing wowed me, the food was solid, the service was decent, and the restaurant was kept nicely. read more

The food: Elevated egg sandwich w/potatoes served on a hamburger bun with mayo, (not my preference as I'm more of a mustard kinda girl, but it was light) over medium cooked egg, avocado, lettuce and bacon with a lemony dressing. Second time here and I thought I'd give it a follow up to my first time but at a different location :). I'll break this down in categories. Food: Great! Tasted super good and I was quite happy with my selection of choice. No funny business of any kind but just good tasting Benedict's! Temperature: Came out just right and I thoroughly enjoyed it came out rather fast. Atmosphere: I believe this location just opened not long ago, lots of new things inside and the place feels very spacious, open and welcoming. Server: She was nice, I came with a group of co-workers, so we had a decent size group. I don't think we saw her much but that's because it started to pick up a bit and we were good for the most part. Value: I think I'd knock this down a bit just because it's still a bit pricey for "breakfast food" but these days everything is expensive. I think the portion sizes are decent for the price but felt you could get a bit more for what you pay. Recommendations: If you just want a wholesome/fancy breakfast that looks pretty and taste pretty dang good! This place is it. Aside from the value everything was great. I placed an Uber eats order, and it arrived very quick, but I also live across the street from them. The food, the potatoes were on point just simply delicious seasoned to perfection kind of crispy on the outside the chimichanga or whatever it was not that great. The chorizo that was used had a lot of oregano like super strong and don't get me wrong. I like oregano I just don't like it this much lol. You do have the option to not include the chorizo. I just didn't know I wasn't going to like it, so if you're not a super fan of oregano, I would still probably get this chimichanga, but just ask them to not put chorizo in there. Tried this place today, and it was amazing! I thought it was just another coffee/breakfast house, but it is way more than that, and the line out the door is the proof. They have an extensive menu with all sorts of options, and they all sounded excellent. Totally health oriented also. I myself, got the A.M. superfood bowl. It was basically a bowl of chia seed pudding with blueberries, strawberries, bananas, and more. Then, the whole grain toast with almond butter on the side. It was terrific. My friend got the biscuits and gravy, and she has been here before, so was already raving about this place. Prices were reasonable, and portions were great. The best part was the million dollar bacon. We were staying at the hotel across the street and we went online and put in our name for the wait. It said 15 minutes and to check in when we got there. Because we were trying to time it with checking out for the day and being able to go back and just grab our stuff out of the room I delayed putting until we were ready. When I did finally put us on the list the time said 10 minute wait. So my daughter and I walked across the street, we got there, checked in and ended up having to wait another 45 minutes before we actually got to sit down. What is the point of putting your name in online with a given timeframe if that's not actually the case??? It wasn't a 5-10 minute delay it was 45 minutes! We could have had our whole meal in that time. There were many people confused by this process and had I known the real timing I would have put my name in earlier. The sauce for the eggs Benedict wasn't my favorite, but I know different people like different things. I had two bites. Luckily I had ordered a side of the billionaire Bacon so that was my breakfast and it was really good with the iced co. My daughter enjoyed her breakfast so that was a plus. read more

Food was excellent. Portions were just right. Cost per person was about $15-20. Million dollar bacon might be worth $100K but it was still really good and catchy way to sell a side dish. Dined for lunch this week and really liked this new location. We had a large table of about 12 and got put out on the patio for lunch so it was very warm. The service was somewhat lacking and slow. It was getting close to closing time and not very crowded so there shouldn't have been an excuse for slow service. Drinks and food came at all different times. I would say this restaurant was pretty decent honestly. I came here because I saw this had opened down the street from my house. I was instantly greeted at the door and they took my name. The only issue I had was probably with the server I think I only saw her once the entire time, when me and my fiancé were here eating breakfast And it was really hard to get drinks refilled. The interior of the restaurant was really nice. I think they did a great job with the seating. I really liked the seat that I sat in. I'd like to start by saying that this is the first time I have visited a First Watch location. The ambiance is relaxed and the seating is nicer than expected. I chose to sit outside since the AC was freezing indoors. It took 10 minutes to be greeted by a server and only after I went back to the host stand to request a server. I ordered a cup of hot tea and the server, although very friendly, didn't know what kinds were available other than pomegranate. He offered iced tea as an alternative. I asked for sugar and milk if he could find black tea bags. The sugar never arrived. The hot water was luke warm. The Floridian French toast was delicious but the butter I requested also never came and I had to go to the bar to ask for some. I'm not expecting anything above and beyond here but for a fancier brunch location with prices to match, the staff should be attentive and be trained in what tea bags are available as well as providing basics like sugar with tea/coffee and butter with pancakes or French toast. I really wanted to give this newer location five stars as I love first watch and this one is close to my house but unfortunately, the service was really not great so I will go with four stars. I checked in online ahead of time and when we got there, I wasn't greeted immediately but once I was, we waited about 5 to 10 minutes. we were then sat and not greeted at all for about 15 minutes and I was with three small children who were hungry and thirsty. I asked if somebody was going to help us and finally a lady came by and didn't explain that she was helping anyone else and I just assumed she was our server as she took our drink order and our food order and walked away. We then sat for about another 15 minutes without getting any of our drinks which by the way we're just water. I saw her in the back because we sat by the kitchen and she was literally walking around with her water bottle. When she made contact with me, I said excuse me can we please get our waters? She's like oh your waiter is working on it. It would've been nice to know that she wasn't going to our server and she could've just said that she will relay this to the server. For us to sit 20 to 30 minutes with no drinks and no help is pretty ridiculous. There was one server who noticed we were not getting help and he jumped in right away. He got us our drinks and he made sure that our server was working on everything else and he also continued to check on us even though he wasn't our server and he is the reason I am giving this a star 4 stars. The food was excellent and once I complained, the service got a little bit better. I definitely do recommend it for the food and I just hope that their service improves.
