First, let me say I love First Watch. The food is consistently good, although I find the prices high, especially for breakfast. That said, when a frittata is advertised as coming with ciabatta toast, I expect more than a piece that's barely an inch wide. It's disappointing, especially at these prices. I've also learned that delivery isn't the best option, as the food often arrives soggy from condensation. Between rising food prices and the expectation of tipping even for pickup orders, I think it's reasonable to expect quality, proper portions, and everything that's advertised. Came after church with a friend. I got the million dollar breakfast sandwich which had greens, easy egg, sausage patty, their speciality bacon and hot honey. It was good. I was pleasantly surprised. We stopped here for brun hours with family, we had to wait about 15 min for a table and after seated our waiter, Beth, came right over to take our drink orders and answer any questions. For a drink I had the Blazing Dragon, it was really good but a little on the very sweet side. Foe an entrée I had the Maple Bacon Croissant Sammy, it was very filling and the sweet maple with the jalapeño heat was very tasty. Everyone at our table really enjoyed their meals. We went here for a late breakfast. We were seated.quickly and had great service. I had a bowl of cheesy grits with egg whites and hickory smoked bacon. My order was tasted okay but the bacon was extra crispy and that took away some of the flavor you would expect from thick cut hickory bacon flavor. The food was delicious and not huge portions so if you're really hungry, don't come ready to taking home anything that you have left over. We were over on this side of town and chose to use my buy one-get one birthday gift for breakfast. We've eaten at other First Watch restaurants, but this was our first time here. They weren't busy at all, so we were seated immediately. I ordered the healthy turkey omelette, subbing salad for the tomatoes and sourdough bread for the artisan toast. My husband got the Works omelette with the same sides. They were both delicious and filling. The restaurant was clean and pleasing to the eye. The servers are extremely entitled and rude at the one at Oracle and River. I said I would never go back there, but one of the ladies that I'm friends with loves their pancakes. When First Watch opened here in Tucson, the service was phenomenal. The food was great. They've really gone downhill. I blame that on management seems like every time my friend and I come to the First Watch on Oracle and River. There is a problem with our bill. There's a problem with getting butter. The food here is amazing. Unique and great flavors. The service is great too. Even though it was busy we always had our drinks filled and never really waited for anything. Server checked on us often. The meal was satisfying and we left full. Restaurant was clean and a little noisy due to the crowds. But it was pleasant to be there. The chickichanga was very flavorful and chicken was moist. The blueberry lemon muffin was AMAZING! Sweet but not overly sweet and super moist. Hubby loved his avocado toast with smoked salmon and fruit. He normally doesn't order food like that but saw someone else with it and wanted to try it. He also loved the morning mediation drink with the beet and orange juice with ginger and tumeric. While visiting family out here they told us about this place and they were right!! Amazing food, I wish we had this place near us. We will definitely return when we come back to visit. read more

Just me that came in for breakfast after shopping early at Costco. Was greeted by a very nice young man to seat me. Then I had the most wonderful server, Josh. He treated me like a queen. They were very busy, because of the time of the year. But Josh never rushed me. He was very attentive and my food came right out. I had a light breakfast of their fresh seasoned potatoes and shared a plate of their holy donuts. The holy donuts were tasty and went well their coffee which was brought in a carafe (great idea). The gentleman when we checked in said it was about a 25 minute wait however we ended up waiting about 35 minutes to get seated. Credit to them when we did get seated they were relatively quick to get our food out to us. The food was delicious. Ordered the breakfast tacos and million dollar sandwich. We just had a very pleasant experience at this location for Easter brunch! Although they were packed we had no problem getting sat quickly, we opted for the bar since we were just two people. Our server helped me decide on the Elevated egg sandwich and I was not disappointed! The million dollar bacon is a great side to share because there are 4 slices of sweet goodness. A great name for a breakfast place! A bit of a wait but worth it. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes. Super yummy. My daughter had the Pesto Bowl with a side of First Watch Potatoes (home fries). We each had a tasty iced coffee drink (Honey Crunch and Mint Mocha). This is a very popular place and there are several locations and they have breakfast, lunch and dinner. Stopped by First Watch for a brunch date. This location is like the other chain ones. Open concept seating with plenty of tables. We shared the elote breakfast burrito and Belgian waffles. Everything was delightful. They were very busy for a week day, but still provided good service and refilled the coffee as needed. The food: Elevated egg sandwich w/potatoes served on a hamburger bun with mayo, (not my preference as I'm more of a mustard kinda girl, but it was light) over medium cooked egg, avocado, lettuce and bacon with a lemony dressing. It was a good size so it was filling and delicious. The potatoes were good but not cooked to my liking (cooked thoroughly & crispy) they were cooked on the outside but just enough on the inside to be edible. They were seasoned good though. First Watch is always a solid choice, and this new location is very enjoyable. The space is bright and airy and doesn't feel crowded in any way. Our server was very bubbly and attentive without being overbearing. She offered an iced tea to go when we departed. The orange juice for the mimosa (some assembly required) was excellent. My chicken protein bowl with quinoa was outstanding. I like the option to pay with your phone right at the table; scan, Apple Pay, and off you go. Very convenient. The only oddity of our entire experience was our bowls of soup and our entree were brought out at the same time. I don't know if this is normal or not, but it does contribute to an "overwhelming" feeling when all the food is put on the table at once. A lovely breakfast experience. We went pretty early on Saturday morning. There was a lot of seats available and we were seated pretty far apart from the other diners towards the back of the restaurant. First Watch seems to put a lot of emphasis on their coffee, so I got a cup of hot coffee. It was ok, freshly brewed but not standing out in flavor. I loved that there was a giant mound of creamer out on our table, and the waitress left the carafe so that I could pour myself as much as I wanted. Our food came out fairly quickly. I got the breakfast power wrap, which was a little drippy but hearty. The Crimini was nice and strong in flavor, and the pico de Gallo was so neat and flavorful. The fruit salad that came on the side was probably the nicest looking fruit bowl I've seen at a restaurant... the fruits were really sweet, especially the berries. My brother got the Million Dollar Breakfast Sandwich, which was a seasonal item. He said everything was good, though he wasn't sure if he'd pay a million bucks for the bacon. Overall, this was one of the better breakfasts I had during my Arizona trip. While nothing wowed me, the food was solid, the service was decent, and the restaurant was kept nicely. read more

Second time here and I thought I'd give it a follow up to my first time but at a different location :). I'll break this down in categories. Food: Great! Tasted super good and I was quite happy with my selection of choice. No funny business of any kind but just good tasting Benedict's! Temperature: Came out just right and I thoroughly enjoyed it came out rather fast. Atmosphere: I believe this location just opened not long ago, lots of new things inside and the place feels very spacious, open and welcoming. Server: She was nice, I came with a group of co-workers, so we had a decent size group. I don't think we saw her much but that's because it started to pick up a bit and we were good for the most part. Value: I think I'd knock this down a bit just because it's still a bit pricey for "breakfast food" but these days everything is expensive. I think the portion sizes are decent for the price but felt you could get a bit more for what you pay. Recommendations: If you just want a wholesome/fancy breakfast that looks pretty and taste pretty dang good! This place is it. Aside from the value everything was great. What a great spot for breakfast! Three in our group ordered the smoked Damon eggs Benedict and loved it. I ordered the power breakfast quinoa bowl with poached eggs. Both dishes were delicious. In the power bowl, the umami flavor of the eggs with the mushrooms and roasted tomatoes paired beautifully with the sausage and Parmesan. I also got the flavorful morning meditation fresh juice. It's a vibrant bright burst of orange and lemon paired with spicy ginger and turmeric sweetened with agave and beet juice. Such a great zing! They have an extensive menu with all sorts of options, and they all sounded excellent. Totally health oriented also. I myself, got the A.M. superfood bowl. It was basically a bowl of chia seed pudding with blueberries, strawberries, bananas, and more. Then, the whole grain toast with almond butter on the side. It was terrific. It was getting close to closing time and not very crowded so there shouldn't have been an excuse for slow service. Drinks and food came at all different times.
