Had breakfast for a party of two this last Sunday and there was about a 25-minute wait. The place was packed but staff was friendly, quick, and helpful. Once seated we had a nice & attentive waitress. We ordered drinks (I had coffee). A small coffee carafe was left on our table for refills; how wonderful is that!? My niece ordered their Purple Haze drink and loved it! It's a beautiful drink to look at! Once we ordered our food came to us in a reasonable time, served hot & fresh! Meal was perfect! The restaurant is spacious with plenty of booths, tables and looks like they can accommodate large parties. One thing that REALLY stood out to me that I rarely see (and the reason this review got bumped up from a 4 to 5 star) was their staff! Every single staff member we came into contact with was friendly, and helpful! As I looked around, I saw each staff member working and moving quickly. Their restaurant was running on all cylinders!! Finely oiled. This told me management must be awesome! First to hire all of the right people/professionals, second to properly train each one, and third, to keep everyone motivated. My hope is this restaurant would continue to serve the community in this same fashion for years to come. Be good to your employees and they will be good to you. We have been enjoying their restaurants for the past 3 years. I believe there are only 1 or 2 that we haven't been to. Food is constantly fresh and flavorful. Food choices are good and the creative drinks both virgin and alcoholic are fresh juice based. Definitely a go to for breakfast and lunch read more

Food was great, came out fast. Waitress was great and attentive to our needs, but also left us alone to eat uninterrupted. The whole grain pancake was big and delicious. Kind of a limited menu compared to some other breakfast spots, but still a good variety with some unique options (like whole wheat pancakes, several different kinds do eggs Benedict, etc.). Our first time here... Lemon ricotta pancakes were very good... The spring special chorizo potato & egg dish is also delicious... The mint ice coffee was absent the coffee flavor AND I missed the description of the regular "ice coffee" being sweet and creamy . I was in town for business and looking for a breakfasts restaurant other than a chain. I stumbled upon this on Yelp and decided to try I had the eggs Benedict. It came with eggs and pancakes. I was impressed with the food/taste. Pancakes were light and fluffy. Orange juice tasted freshly squeezed. Staff was nice and friendly. The only hiccup was I ordered a side of potatoes that hadn't been brought to my table by the time I was finished. When I got the check, I had to remind my server that I never received my potatoes and to please remove it from my check. With all that, I will be back there on my next business trip to Tucson. read more

Was super excited to attend the soft opening. All 4 of us were extremely satisfied with our orders. Staff was well trained and super attentive. Everything was delicious and we were served in a timely manner. I was so satisfied that I returned on their first open to the public day because I had seen someone order the avo toast and was jelly enough to want to try it myself. It was scrumptious and filling. I'm not much for coffee, but their iced coffee now has me as a fan. Sweet and tasty. Again the staff was friendly and attentive. Beautiful restaurant! Hostess was super sweet and accommodating- clearly had her hands full though. Maybe schedule her some help :) Food was really good. Server was pretty awful though. We asked for waters twice and never got it. We were not aware we paid up front- so sat there for ten minutes waiting. I am also pretty sure she was high as a kite. Had no energy or personality. I came here with a group of 7 girls and the wait staff was so nice and accommodating. We were seated relatively quickly after putting our name on the waitlist and our server Iliana was really attentive. I got the traditional breakfast and a Belgian waffle and it was delish. Ordered the Bloody Mary and never received it, so after receiving my breakfast 25 minutes later I asked the server if my bloody had been started yet and was told no, so I canceled it. Food is amazing . I got the Frittata Rústica and it is a perfect breakfast....... The only part of the breakfast I really did not enjoy was the coffee. They have an excellent story of the origins of their coffee on the First Watch website but the mistake is they do not grind their coffee in house , at the restaurant. You can taste that it is stale. My recommendation would is to ship whole beans to your stores and grind them right before brewing. There is a night and day difference in the flavor and aroma. Your mostly a brunch restaurant so coffee is a big part of your menu. Service and ambiance are top notch.... Step up the coffee game please. I know it is possible! Thank you! read more

One of my fav breakfast spots for a traditional meal. Today the food was cold but generally always good. The coffee is hot or miss. Love their juices! Service is pretty good. They get very busy!!! I ordered the sweet honey pecan salad through the First Watch Website - it was supposed to have chicken breast, bacons, pecans avocado, cheese and mixed greens with honey Dijon dressing. I received the mixed greens, cheese & avocado. When I requested a refund I was told it would take 6-8 hours to process the refund since I used their Website and that I'd get a call when it was done. Seriously 6-8 hours? That's utterly ridiculous. They offered to remake it for me but I left work to pick it up to have for lunch at work. I could not just get up to leave work a second time and act like it's no big deal. I was excited to try something new but I guess my order wasn't worth bothering with. read more

Question for the masses: "how can any one restaurant go from an Apex to the nadir in less than six months?" Such as the case we found with Furst Watch at the bridges. We went there when it first opened, and we were enamored by the service by the food, it was at least comparable, or better than any other First Watch, we've gone to. Such was not the case this past week . We arrived between lunch and breakfast, but since there is one menu, does really make a difference? We were escorted to a table. Five minutes later, the waitress came by and took our orders for drinks, they were out of lemon for the ice teas. 10 minutes later she was back with the teas, and took our order. 10 minutes later she returned and asked if everything was OK, we asked where our order was. It is now 25 minutes, At 30 minutes the waitress returns, She came and said it was delivered accidentally to another table, it will only be 5 more minutes. Then a totally different waitress comes and verifies our order, guess what? 5 minutes! We waited 5 minutes, and left. We went to the front to pay for the teas, the first waitress comes out and says the order is ready. We left. Don't even get me started on the cleanliness either! Or less than 1/2 roll of TP. We will not return to that First Watch. read more

I love first watch and go frequently but whoever is the manager at this location needs retraining or to be let go. The kitchen staff had tickets an hour and half behind when in comparison it takes 15 minutes. Which is at fault of the manager not knowing how to properly run the kitchen. The host was extremely kind and apologetic for this but there was nothing she was able to do to help. read more
