She said, 'oh we can't have that', I gave us a different table. She was on top of all our needs. Very concern about the customer comfort. Every time we been here it really seems that the employees like their job. I never hear them complaining about anything. When taking to them, they all tell me how they love working at this location. This one had to be done. Recently moved within walking distance of this restaurant. Naturally it's on my radar as a new favorite breakfast spot. My first visit was with my wife. We were seated on a table right in front of the kitchen. I ordered an omelette with toast and I was never brought the toast. I was half way done with the omelette before the waitress returned and we could call them out on forgetting the order. Honest mistake, it's my first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tipped them normally. 2nd order was done over the phone and my wife picked it up while I was working. The workers were rude to my wife and she said they were laughing and carrying on conversation not acknowledging her standing there waiting to inquire about our order. The food ends up being cold. Ok now we're 0/2. 3 months pass and here today I decide to give first watch another chance. Ordered a pickup via door dash. My wife graciously went to get it for me while I'm working. She gets there and the business does not have my name on the order from door dash. My wife was unsure not wanting to take someone else's order all the while the lady working there was being rude and giving my wife and attitude. Then to top it all off when I get the food the Belgian waffle Is very weird. It has a strange deep fried after taste like they over cooked it on too high heat in some oil instead of using butter, they dumped powdered sugar all over it... lol I'm ordering breakfast this isn't a carnival funnel cake ppl. On the bright side the bacon was alright but honestly. This is 3 strikes and you're out First Watch. The negative experiences we have had all 3 times are consistent with the fact that they close at like 3 or 4 PM. they're no sense of urgency or pressure on them to provide good service because A) due to the location they feel they have a captive audience and do not fear competition and B) they close early so most workers of course will be relaxed, uncaring and already mentally checked out knowing they can be back in Bed sleeping by 4Pm lol. I was visiting a friend in the Valley for a few days and she kept mentioning she'd heard First Watch was really good. The two of us have a thing for breakfast/brunch. Unfortunately, the time came for me to head back to the Prescott area and we hadn't had the chance to try First Watch. I was hungry and planning to just zip through a drive thru when I came across this First Watch location. Seriously it must've been meant to be. I was super impressed with their menu which has a really nice variety of options that seem tasty, healthy, trendy (hello Avocado toast!), and affordable. It was really hard to decide on just one thing but I ordered the Elote Mexican Street Corn Hash. Wow! Best meal I've eaten in a restaurant while I've been in Arizona! Presentation was perfect, food was amazing! I wouldn't change a single thing. Service was super friendly and attentive, my server took great care of me without making me feel awkward for eating solo. We frequent this particular restaurant. Usually, the service is great. Today, we walked in. No one took our name. They just stood at the registers. No guests were checking out. There was a line of 2 or 3 guests before us. A couple walked in. The service staff jumped to get their name. I asked why our name had not been taken. I was not doing this in a rude manner, but it was taken as if I was. Everyone was butthurt. The staff immediately seated the couple. Then, they skipped the other guests and seated us. Yes, we got looks. The whole experience was negative. The lesson? Never stand up for yourself at this restaurant. They will make sure you regret it. read more

We like to go to breakfast after the gym, so we stopped in here. It was packed inside and really warm. The wait was 30 minutes. We decided to ask if we could sit outside, thinking it would be nicer. It was a brisk 59 degrees and we were clothed appropriately. As the wind picked up, we got a little chilled. We asked if they could turn the heaters on but apparently they are all broken We went to the car and grabbed blankets, so we could finish our meal. Sitting outside also makes your food get cold faster but we managed to eat almost everything. The service is always good and the food is too but the district manager should fix the heating units outside. As the staff stated that they are clearly aware they don't work. The inside was too warm so there should be a happy-medium. read more

They have many options for every person here. I ordered the half soup half sandwich combo with the soup of the day (which was garden vegetable) and the market veggie sandwich. Both were delicious and came out nice and hot. My mom ordered a wholegrain pancake with strawberries and a side of country potatoes. The pancake was delicious and the potatoes were also really good (they could have been a tiny bit crispier, but we still really enjoyed them). Our waitress was very nice and checked up on us regularly and was also quick to grab anything we needed. read more

Payed extra for avocado...ended up with 3 slivers of brown avocado. No jelly for the toast. No silverware. (This was a takeout order) And the worst part, when I went to pick up the food, the lady was rude. I was trying to casually talk to her & she shut it down with a "mhm. Want a receipt?" Yikes... My family and i go here on a fairly regular basis. Normally very good food and service. I have been to many around the valley and this one is very good. Good breakfast and lunch foods so just hope they stay consistent and quality. I would recommend and will continue to come! read more

Arrived at 11:30 on a Tuesday. We were seated immediately. The restaurant was less than half full. Our server took out order. I ordered the trifecta with my eggs scrambled light. My wife ordered an omelet. After a long wait our server apologized for the delay saying our order was coming next. When the orders arrived I received egg whites. I pointed out that I ordered eggs scrambled light. He acknowledge the error and replaced the eggs. Both orders arrived cold with only the eggs that had been replaced being hot. read more

Quality of food and cleanliness has really gone downhill. Takes a long time from order to receipt of food. Last three times eggs have not been cooked enough for consumption -- still raw. A shame as this location used to be a really great place for breakfast or lunch. Now won't even consider as kitchen doesn't know how to cook. Met a girlfriend for breakfast on Sunday and everything was great. It was very busy but only had to wait 10min for a table. They have a nice seating room in the center with couches while you wait and can enjoy some complimentary water and coffee. They recently remodeled so I love the new modern/rustic decor. Our server was Alexis and she was awesome. Kept checking on us to make sure we had everything and was very friendly and personable. We had my friends 1year old daughter with us and Alexis kept smiling and talking to her to make her smile. I ordered off the healthier options and got the avocado toast with eggs (ordered mine scrambled). It was delicious and the perfect amount. The avocado spread was seasoned perfectly and the bread was so tasty. I also enjoyed a few cups of coffee that had good flavor. Great option for breakfast. I will be back again soon! The food was acceptable but there were a few issues with the service. The coffee we got was lukewarm at best. I asked for hot coffee and the waiter took the pot back inside and came back 5 minutes later with a half pot. He said they were brewing more. What he brought back was not even as warm as what we had - it may have even been the same half pot he took back. I know not everyone has the same view regarding masks but in my opinion if you are going to have your staff use them they should have their nose and mouth covered. My husband and I ordered delivery, and the food was great! The juices are also excellent. I ordered the morning meditation, and my husband had the kale tonic. They were both delicious. It is hard to mess up avocado toast, but I was impressed with how much they piled on top of the bread. My husband had the traditional breakfast and really enjoyed it. My wife and I came here for the first time today and we were very very happy with not only the food but the exceptional service that Hannah provided us. I'm not a food critic by any means so I will try to make this next part make sense. The food is amazing. The menu consists of things that we would make at home but taken to the next level and kicked up three notches. The coffee was really good as was the fresh made Watermelon, pineapple and mint juice. I had the carnitas burrito filled with carnitas, eggs, potatoes, black beans, avocado and topped tomato sauce, lime crema, pico de gallo, house-pickled onions, fresh cilantro and Cotija cheese My wife had a breakfast sandwich with bacon, eggs, avocado, Gruyere cheese and arugula on a brioche bun. And the kicker.... we had the "million dollar bacon" It's pretty good and I highly recommend it. We will definitely be coming back. And thank you to Hannah for the good suggestions. read more
