It was noon, and I was impressed by the number of staff who were behind the counter, furiously making sandwiches like a well-oiled machine. We were immediately greeted, and then came the tough part--making a decision. It was a tough choice: the Bobbie or the American Waygu Sub. We ended up with the Waygu Classic--- filled with some really tasty (and tender) steak, turkey (a little dry), bacon (makes everything better), and provolone instead of the usual American cheese most places use. They added some onions, lettuce, fresh tomatoes that were actually ripe, and (per our request) dressed it with oil and vinegar instead of mayo. It was filling and delicious. The place is small (probably fewer than 12 tables) and they were busy, so we appreciated the quick service. We got a quality lunch for a reasonable price. read more

In the differences between sandwich shops, this one rates great! A very warm greeting when entering and I love how they scream out "thanks for the tip". Everything is fresh and I had a cheesesteak which was excellent. I added bacon because why not? Bacon makes everything better. My husband got the chicken cheesesteak and said it was "really Good". That's a top notch review for him. They just opened recently so I am sure they are working out the kinks and it took awhile for our sandwiches to be made but it was worth it. Warm staff, great quality product and when it comes to enough meat I'm glad they don't scrimp like other places. This will become a favorite for us I'm sure. read more

Spent $56 on two combos. Had to wait an extremely long time for them to forget my au jus anyways so I had to turn around in rush hour and grab it. & they give u the smallest amount of au jus ever it's an embarrassment. I was, frankly, disappointed. Here is why: The cheese steak flavor was- in my opinion- not good at all. It had a weird flavor, unlike any cheesesteak Ive ever had. Kind of a strange, sweet flavor with a very odd, cleaning-fluid aftertaste. I don't know if it's the meat or some condiment but it was terrible. Like bordering inedible. Worst cheesesteak I've ever ordered, bar none. Besides the awful sandwich, is the fact that it's really expensive. I know that we are in an era of rising food costs and all restaurants have gotten really expensive, but this was ridiculous for a sandwich. Second of all they only offer you bagged potato chips as a side. Which is OK for a sandwich shop, but if you're going to do that then you need to stock at least the basic chips. All I wanted was plain potato chips and they didn't even have that. all they had was Doritos and the other ones nobody wants like Barbeque. Just get some darned normal chips. And last is the service. They have this weird custom where, if you click the little "tip" button, the guy taking your order screams to the entire restaurant, "tip money!" In my mind, it's the most demeaning and ugly practice I have ever seen in a restaurant. And I've worked in restaurants a long time. It's almost like they're begging, and when you throw them a quarter they all scream like Soviet prisoners in 1949. It's terrible. I noticed some commenters that think it's cute. I think it's ugly and unnecessary and crass. I don't know if it's designed to make people who don't tip feel bad? but when you're charging $20 for a sandwich, it's not my responsibility to tip your workers on top of it. But that's a conversation for another place. All in all a definite no-go for me. Bad food, no chips, weird tip policy. Took forever. Lots of workers milling around but 25 minutes to get a sandwich. Lunch time was as expected. I counted at least 8 people working the kitchen and counters. There are 6 or 7 tables for inside seating. Hubby had cheesesteak and I had Capastrami. For $45 we got 2 bottled drinks and a small and medium sandwich. Hubby loved the cheesesteak with peppers added. My capastrami was fair. I couldn't find the cheese or dressing. The slaw was bland. Seems like there's no management running things in the evening. We saw customers ordering the same thing as our online order and getting their food before us. One worker was throwing F bombs because it was busy and he clearly can't work under pressure. Tried it twice and don't think we will try again. Let me start by saying this food is absolutely amazing. The customer service provided by Anthony, was above and beyond anything in the area. I ordered food for delivery, and after waiting, I called the store and found out it was for pickup! I was unable to pick it up and he jumped in his car and brought it to me. The sandwiches are excellent but they are SLOW-I have been in three times, and two times it took an hour to get my food with only ten-fifteen people in front of me (these are cheesesteaks-they do not take long). Yesterday, I was in line with three parties in front of me and the person behind the counter was taking forever just to take the first order, so I gave up. Waited an extra 30 minutes, 50 total for my order only to arrive home with one of my sandwiches being the wrong sandwich. I heard someone with the same name order while I waited after I came back and double checked to clarify my bag had a chicken bacon ranch and a Capistrami. Got home to a chicken bacon ranch and a meatball. Tried to call back to resolve but they didnt answer the phone. The sandwiches are pretty good, the service is in shambles. We have eaten here or should I say tried to get sandwiches from here. First time the food was great it was an hour wait but I thought it was due to them just opening, I went ahead and join their rewards program and following on social media. The sandwiches were really good and even the fries were a large portion. We tried to order food for Mother's Day since it was buy one get one half off. I tried the online ordering, and it kept giving an error message about the order not being right & check the order amount. I spent 10 mins trying to get it to work before giving up. If you are going to have online and rewards including a free sub with first order (I did not even attempt this one) have the site work correctly. Now reading other reviews I have a feeling this location on Happy Valley will not last long if things keep going the way they are . read more

I've given this particular location, several opportunities, but every time it's let me down with very long wait times for a sandwich, even when ordering on the mobile app the order is never ready when they say it will be. My last order a short female employee with a short shirt and an exposed larger belly was rubbing on the sandwich prep station as I watched, which was not fun to witness. We love Capriottis but this location def needs some serious improvement. Waited over 30 mins for 2 small sandwiches to go. (A hot Bobbi and cheesesteak) watched 5 people behind the counter question every sandwich, and how to make it, yet moving slower than I've ever seen. While standing around waiting forever, we watched people who came in after us get their sandwiches and leave before us because the cold ones are apparently faster to make them the hot ones . There's no logical order because the guy making the hot sandwich just stopped to make the cold sandwiches. Someone came in to get a pick up order and we watched the girl stop making hot sandwiches come over with her gloved hands and handle bags, cups, other sandwiches and such and put her order together to go then go back to the grill and grab the bread and start making more sandwiches without changing her gloves. Even other customers commented about how long everything was taking. Then to get home to find the order wrong, items like peppers and cheese missing from sandwiches. Any other location I've been to has much more hardy sandwiches. These things were sparse for the price they're charging. I've never had a sandwich from there be so thin, lack meat and be so dry. Tried the wagyu steak sandwich. It took 20min for the sandwich to come out. The guy tells me they are still working on the fries and will bring them out. The sandwich wasn't horrible, but not much meat or flavor compared to other places. After 30min I asked again about my fries. The 6 people behind the counter all looked confused, but confirmed it was on the order and said they would make another order (the fry bin was empty). I just walked out. If you can't make fries in 30min, I'm not waiting another 5 or more for you to try again. Not worth trying this place again read more
