I've been stuck at home with a cold, so we ordered some pho from this place and it was just what my sore throat needed!!! I ordered the Chicken Pho and my husband ordered the combination pho. Neither of us had any complaints! The soup was warm when it arrived via door dash, so we warmed it back up in the microwave. All of the toppings(/soup inserts?) were separated in the styrofoam container for us to put together ourselves. We also ordered a side of combination fried rice which was also delicious! I highly recommend this place if looking for some solid pho! read more

The food here is always flavorful and delicious. It's a casual dinner option for the family and we always leave with full bellies. The servers are always prompt and helpful with the menu. First time here for an early lunch. Place is hugh and service was good. When you go to a Vietnamese Restaurant that is called PM Pho, that is a no brainer, you have to try the Pho. Had the Combination Pho that had steak, meatballs and brisket. Served with fresh veggies and a tasty broth loaded with noodles. Never had Vietnamese Meatballs. Soooo first off this resultant needs to change their name on yelp as well as door dash ..they are both different names and was very confusing I got the chick pho my boyfriend got steak and we shared shrimp spring rolls... The broth was pretty good but very very oily like prefect hangover food if that's what your looking for. This is the best pho place in the area, in my opinion. Seriously so good. A lot of the time I find myself having to put extra salt and/or pepper in my pho at other places that I've tried in the past, just because their broth would be underwhelming and not as flavorful. Being from Seattle Im pretty picky with all Asian cuisine, especially Vietnamese Filipino Thai and Japanese style from living in SE Asia for 12 years. Once you've been there and experience authentic cuisine, most Americanised versions leave a lot to be desired. This cute, clean and friendly Pho establishment is impressive in both quality and customer service at a great price. The flavor of the Pho' broth was rich and not too salty The Taro Boba was spot on, and Sophie the waitress was friendly and inviting. Nice local spot off of 7th street and Thunderbird Road, in the Moon Valley neighborhood. Location has been around for about two years. The place inside is very modern with a lot of natural lighting. You order up front and get your order dropped off at your table. If you like Pho of all kinds and flavors, the options are endless. I went with the PT Pho, which included brisket meat mixed with sprouts, noodles and basil. It was during lunchtime and it came out quickly. The homemade tea was also tasty. Unfortunately, I have to downwardly revise my review rating, based on an awful and dishonest experience we had with a dark-haired female employee on Monday night, August 31st, around 6:00 pm. My husband, son and I are frequent customers and we usually order the same few dishes -- wings with sweet chili sauce, vermicelli bowl with shrimp, chicken pho, and crispy calamari, and Buddha beers. So Monday, the three of us decided to do takeout, so we ordered all the above (minus the beers), but with TWO orders of calamari, instead of the one order we usually get. Our adult son James placed the online order and drove over to pick up the food. He cash-tipped the dark-haired female and drove the order back to our house. When we unpacked the food, there were only four containers (not five). We opened them all up and saw that there was only one order of calamari. This PT PHO location is not answering their phones anymore -- (see other reviews complaining about this) -- so James drove back to the restaurant to get the missing calamari order. He came back angry and empty-handed. Apparently, the young girl that originally handed him our shorted order said, "Oh, no, we put both calamari orders in one container." WHAT????!!!!!!!! Now, we've been coming here since they opened, and continued to patronize this business by frequently ordering takeout throughout the pandemic. WE KNOW WHAT A SINGLE ORDER OF CALAMARI LOOKS LIKE, since we have ordered them many times in the past here. What was packed up for us (see photo) was A SINGLE ORDER, not a double. What we received was not $17.00 calamari, like we paid for. We got $8.00 calamari, and paid $17, plus a cash tip for it. The lying and/or laziness of this employee is outrageous, insulting and totally unacceptable. As I have said on other reviews.........people are going to remember which businesses took care of them during the pandemic, and which businesses blatantly screwed them over. I'm offended that Phó is advertised. I ordered the #14a special hot & spicy Phó. It was neither hot nor spicy. And it's a stretch to call it Phó. It's advertised as having brisket & steak. Not sure what the slice provided was, but there was just the slice. The noodles were refrigerator cold. The broth was not remotely spicy and was moderately warm in temperature. I think it was just water and some seasoning for color because it was flavorless. Instead of basil, cilantro, lime, green onion, & jalapeño, there was lettuce. We have been coming to this restaurant and ordering from them for years now. My order came and noticed something strange was on it that looks like hair. My cousin ordered the same dish and didn't find any hair like strand in her bowl. I approached the young male cashier/server and he very rudely responded, "I DON'T CARE!" The owner Wi is a nice guy but unfortunately wasn't at the restaurant today. He needs to make sure his staff is trained to be courteous and respectful to all customers at all times. read more

This place is in a little strip mall on the south west corner of thunderbird and 7th street. I wandered in alone on a day when I was feeling low and it lifted my spirits like my granny had cooked it. The staff checked in on me constantly. The food was hot and fresh. It was spacious and clean. After a while three tables of teenagers came in and all ordered big bowls. They looked so happy too. I feel like I found something really special here. I guess my only suggestion would be to add more options like tendon, but that's absolutely a suggestion and not a complaint. They had all the sauces and fresh stuff on the side. The tai tea was also a treat I will go again and recommend it. read more

Attention: DO NOT EAT HERE! My mom decided to bring some food home for dinner, and because we live so near to this location, and it was new she decided to try it. I just need to say that I couldn't eat ANY of this food it was so putrid! I even smoked medical marijuana before trying it, and couldn't get more than a bite down. That should say a lot! To make the experience even worse, we had a piece of metal in the no shrimp, shrimp fried rice! My mom even relayed to me that she'd tip the girl who took her order. If you don't believe me, because of the shocking ratings, look at the health score! 7 out of 100. Please go out of business immediately. Honestly my partner and I have been coming here for quite awhile and those visits have NOT disappointed at all. . UNTIL this evening! It no longer had a vibe that was comfortable! When we walked in, we were greeted by a new outlook and new workers all around. What was once an easy menu to read was now confusing and interruptive. If you've read my other reviews, you know I'm a bun addict...ordered the bun with BBQ pork...first place I've been where it didn't also have an egg roll cut up in the bowl with the pork...asked if they could do that - sure, no problem! The bowl was really good - the meat was better-than-typical quality for a bun bowl, and everything was fresh - plenty of pickled carrots and daikon (some places are stingy with that, not PT Pho Express). Second time I was in and tried to order with an egg roll added, I ended up with an order of egg rolls...how about a bun bowl with BBQ pork, an egg roll, and maybe grilled shrimp, too? Whataya say? The cafe sua da isn't my favorite - too chocolatey and too sweet - probably be great for the Charbucks crowd, but I want it to punch me in the face with bitterness before the sweet coaxes me not to be mad about it...(maybe try making it with Trung Nguyen #2 and less condensed milk? also - what's with it being pre-made everywhere - I miss having it come out dripping into the cup and pouring it over the ice myself - everybody is serving it in boba cups nowadays) Anyway, this place is definitely worth checking out - give 'em a try!! read more

Ate there today for lunch for the first time. We had seen a pho place being constructed in this strip mall and was looking forward to its opening. It seemed like it took a while for it to open. It opened in August but we made it there today the first part of November. Soup weather as one of the servers said as we paid our bill. For around 1:30 in the afternoon, it was a little busy inside but still plenty of places to sit. We were greeted quickly upon arrival and asked if we were dining in or getting take out. We said dining in. The server said we could sit where we wanted and brought over menus. They have a good assortment of dishes. What fascinated me was the pho burrito but I wasn't sure about it. Later after reading other Yelper reviews, I saw that several of you wonderful people had written reviews about the pho burrito so that's going to be the next thing I try when we go back and we will be back. Hubby got the brisket pho, I got the chicken pho. Our order came in less than 10 minutes with plenty of meat and noodles in it. Hubby said he didn't notice as many onions as other pho places we have eaten in. The broths were good. Hubby also said (I must add that hubby is the one that can identify spices, etc., I tend just to think of something as being great tasting, good tasting, mediocre, etc.) that the broths seemed a little sweet like maybe they put a dash of sugar in them? They were good. Great service, quick food coming out. A real winning combination for me. You pay directly at the counter when you are done. FINALLy an AmAzInG Vietnamese spot in this area ! I've tried them all (almost ) and am always disappointed ! Came in and was warmly greeted and everyone was great on helping me navigate the menu ! I did a to-go order with Spring Rolls , fried rice and chicken vermicelli bowl ! All were delicious , huge in portion size and so flavorful ! The only negative was the taro smoothie I got which was literally a Taro milk shake . But the boba wasn't too bad for not being a milk tea place ! Definitely will be back ! It took some time for this restaurant on the southwest corner of 7th Street and Thunderbird to open, but it was worth the wait. The restaurant has a very spacious layout, a contemporary vibe, and very friendly and attentive service. Like the other restaurants of this chain, the menu features popular Vietnamese eatery standards and there is a button on every table for hailing a server. For the opening day visit, I decided to order grilled pork spring rolls and lemongrass tofu with rice; both were very flavorful and well presented and the prices were good. I realize I went on opening day. My gripes are not about how I called order in and still had to wait 45 minutes to receive food. My complaints are only about quality of food. I ordered pho ga ( chicken soup), fried rice, spring rolls and one pork bahn mi ( bbq pork sandwich ). The pho broth tasted like it was pre made from a can or carton. No herbs or bone flavor. Just tasted like generic powered broth. It was not tasty or resembled pho soup. The amount of chicken that was very skimpy and there were no herbs that came with it. The only thing they gave was bean sprouts, cilantro and onions with lime. Fried rice had no seasoning. The color was there but no seasoning. Very plain and no taste Bahn mi had a soy sauce packet attached in the wrapper. Never in my life have I ever seen soy sauce put on a bahn mi. The meat was very skimpy and it was mostly bread Spring rolls came with a shrimp cut in half and rolled with lettuce and vegetables. No rice noodles were put in there or pork like other places do. The peanut sauce was very runny. It appeared as if they had a powered formula and added water. I'm used to authentic Vietnamese food. I will also say I can accept semi authentic Vietnamese food. But this food was not prepared with Vietnamese recipes in mind. People who eat here may think this is the standard of Vietnamese cuisine. It was so not that. The location is north Glendale/ phoenix area where there are slim to none Asian people. I happened to be Asian and I really was so happy to see a Vietnamese restaurant open up near me. I was very disappointed and felt like I wasted over $60 dollars in food I didn't finish. Lesson learned and I will drive the distance for good Vietnamese food read more

The staff consists of family members who obviously do not want to be there. They were rude and unwelcoming. There was only one person dining in the restaurant and he was upset because they screwed his order up. It's not like they were busy so no excuses for that. Our only complaint is that something was wrong with their drink machine. We ordered an iced tea and it came tasting like water. We asked for another one and it was the same thing.
