Food was totally AWESOME!! Service was INCREDIBLY FAST and FRIENDLY! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Ambiance , the decor was what I expected from a fine Chinese dining.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] A must go to for a date night.

Food was very flavorful. Lots of spice. Service was amazing, everyone was was so helpful and courteous. Wasn't loud, so it was easy to have a conversation. We will be back. Get the Moo Goo Gai Pan, you won't be sorry.

Just had a delicious lunch with my gf here! Their lunch specials are great! It includes a cup of soup, wontons, an egg roll & your entree!! I had the Shrimp & Vegetables, very flavorful and the staff are friendly. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great decor too![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Highly recommend if you're craving good Chinese food!

We loved it here, friendly and helpful staff, great portions and complimentary jasmine tea. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is nice and we didn't need a reservation for a Sunday night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We enjoyed the House Lo Mein with chicken, shrimp and substituted pork for beef, enjoyed the General Tso's Chicken, and Egg Fried Rice.

Well on the plus side they gave me a lot more shrimp than I got at Angry Crab Shack with my shrimp and lobster sauce. Other than that well they really want to learn how to cook vegetables. My green and red peppers which I always look forward to because of my omega-3 needs we're ripe and raw. I always hope that whatever preparing my food will fully prepare it and was I'll just use the word disappointed to find out that that wasn't the case here. The shrimp was at least cooked I hope. I guess we'll find out over the next few days. Anyway, skip this place have no fun to make good food. Correction, they have no clue how to cook good food.

We visited Flamingo Palace during lunch last Thursday. It was pretty busy and apparently they only had one server for all the tables. She did great but it did take a while for us to order. Once we ordered our food came out quickly. It was a pretty big portion for the lunch special - good flavor. If you are in a rush I would recommend a different spot but if you have the time it's a solid Chinese spot!

Haven't eaten Chinese food in 20 years. Always felt sluggish afterwards. Not Yesterday. Ate Lu ch from 2-3:30. My good friend Vaughn had many things to catch up on. My Prayer before we ate was that my growth as a Christian Convert these past 5 years as been Due to a few mentors who have stepped into my life! 5.2 yrs ago I converted from Judaism . The service today was Totally Awesome, No request was left to chance. Our Soup came first. Than the Pu-Pu Platter. Very delicious

I really wanted to like this place because the menu looked good and the prices seemed fair online. When we entered, it was super busy so my hopes were high. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor is dated, but I don't care about that as long as the seat is comfortable which it was.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered Crab Puffs for appetizer, and then shared the Chicken Fried Rice, Lemon Chicken and General Tso's Chicken. The crab puffs were decent but the sauces that came with them were watery and lacked flavor. Our entrees arrived promptly and looked tasty. They weren't. The lemon chicken didn't taste like any lemon chicken I've ever had before and the General Tso's was WAY too salty and wasn't spicy at all. If it wasn't for the salt, it wouldn't have had any flavor at all. The chicken fried rice was the only truly enjoyable part. I would never go here again and only give it two stars because the waitstaff was attentive and very courteous. I also liked that the takeaway bag is a small reusable tote and I appreciate the attempt at sustainability. Additionally, I was really surprised to see that I was charged $3 extra because I requested red bell peppers to be added to my General Tso's Chicken. I didn't really care, but was definitely surprised by the added charge.

I honestly have seen it tucked into the corner and have never been. Craving Chinese food with actual sit down service. ( not take out). Walked in and was welcomed and seated at a booth. The place is spotless!! It smelled so good . Our server was great. Attentive and we ordered beer and a MaiTai. Delicious. Can really taste the rum. ( a great thing) Husband got Scallops and Shrimp in Szechuan sauce. I ordered Singapore rice noodles. We started with spring rolls. Everything was delicious. Hot and made to order. Can't wait to return!!

Epic lunch special! Quality Chinese food can get expensive, but go here for lunch and you'll love this place. I went with a two others to split a few entrees. They all rocked, but their namesake, the Flamingo Special Chicken, was the highlight. The variety on their menu for different meat and vegetarian options gives everyone a chance to find something they'll enjoy. Service was excellent. We asked for a little more Flamingo sauce and they brought a whole soup bowl full of it so we could lather it over anything and everything we could get our hands on. The environment was exactly what you'd want for and old school Chinese restaurants. Incredible food and cannot say enough about the value.

Their food is consistently the same no matter how busy it is, most recently during a heavy dinner hour - prime time. Yes, expect to wait, we started the 30 plus wait time out side and then inside in the small waiting area. It's not fancy by any means. TVs with a game on, servers moving about, and a steady stream of to go orders. We had King Pao Chicken, Beef with broccoli and Mongolian Beef. Also Wongs fried rice & appetizer plate and soups. I had hot & sour soup, absolutely delicious, a little spicy as it should be. My Mongolian Beef was probably the best prepared, very tender beef and flavorful I've had, and always consistently the same each visit. The other entrees severed were equally flavorful, tender meats and served fresh & hot. Servers are kind and knowledgeable of each dish and offer suggestions of their favorites. The seating area is in need of updating but very clean, as are the restrooms. But it's about the quality, quantity & consistency that keeps me returning. Just go!

Every dish was prepared beautifully and packed with flavor, but the lobster was truly divine. Perfectly cooked, incredibly tender, and infused with the aromatic flavors of fresh ginger and green onions, it was one of those dishes that leaves a lasting impression long after the meal is over. The beef and shrimp lo mein were equally delicious, with rich savory flavors and generous portions, while the walnut shrimp was perfectly crisp with a delicate sweetness that balanced the dish beautifully. The fried rice was the perfect complement to everything on the table. We also enjoyed a few sake bombers, which are hands down the best we've had anywhere. It's probably the fanciest Chinese restaurant I've been to in AZ. The lunch menu is excellent and quite impressive! There are 8 entrees to choose along with a side for only $20. What's crazy is that a full size seafood and wagyu beef belly jjampong is a side! They're regularly $24 so it's a crazy deal to get an additional entree!! We ordered seafood jjampong and wagyu beef jjampong as sides and genghis khan beef and chili garlic fried chicken as mains. The jjampong had that great umami taste without the oiliness that's unavoidable at other restaurants. The ingredients felt very premium and fresh. Ghengis khan beef pieces were very generous and tender with a savory sauce. Chili garlic chicken was a tad salty for me but had great crisp. Service was impeccable and one you'd expect from an upscale restaurant. I can't wait to go back to try other dishes from the lunch menu. Gotta support local when you can I say! The menu is pretty basic and has all your typical options for Americanized Chinese food. Wanting to get something that had noodles in it, I opted for the combination #1 which has chow mein crispy noodles, pork fried rice, and two tempura shrimp. Quite a lot of food and for a very reasonable price! I think the combo was around $10. If you are a fan of bean sprouts, this is your place. The chow mein had a massive pile of beansprouts on top. The noodles were indeed crispy but they was such a meager portion compared to the beansprouts. The fried rice was pretty basic but also a generous portion and the two tempura shrimp had a nice crispy batter. I tried some of the eggroll too which is one of the most unique versions I've had since the super crispy outer layer was either a different preparation or different wrap material than I'm used to. The fact that the restaurant was very close to our Airbnb, and did not require a reservation also felt like a sign to make the visit. The spot is definitely trendy, and parking was tricky. Uber/Lyft would be my recommendation, but there is a paid parking garage down a couple of streets. We didn't need a reservation since we had a small party, but I would recommend if if you're coming with a party of four or more. We sat at the bar and ordered four dishes from different categories, which was a great way to sample the menu; though honestly I think we probably could have gotten away with just 3 dishes for a party of 2. We tried Yam Mamuang Boran (old-style green mango salad), Boo Pad Pong Garee (crab curry with ginger), Tom Yum Haeng Sen Yai (dry tom yum with wide noodles), and Naem Khao Tot (crispy rice salad with fermented pork sausage). The noodles and salad were definitely my favorite though everything was seasoned really well and incredibly flavorful. What I loved most was how thoughtfully prepared everything felt. The restaurant has a really sincere, home-style feel, and you can tell the food is rooted in tradition while still feeling special and elevated. I really want to believe it was a fluke. Rushing to get food out quickly to mimic Thai street food is not desirable when quality is sacrificed and the customer is paying almost $40 for a plate.. I will say the food came out within minutes of ordering. Our server was nice and patient. I needed some extra time to look over the menu and he didn't rush us to order even though he was very busy. The food was so lackluster and it pains me to say that about a Thai restaurant. Every dish was just missing something, whether it was some spicy or citrus. Every dish was very one dimensional. The Boo Pad Pong Garee, or stir fried crab curry, was dry and underwhelming. It was missing spice for me. There were huge chunks of crab though. The Naem Khao Tawt, or crispy rice salad, may have been my favorite bite of the night. It had a great balance of textures and flavors. It was refreshing and helped cut through some of the dryness of the crab curry. I loved the cured pork sausage. Tom Yum Haeng Sen Yai, or the stir fried flat rice noodles with squid, wasn't terrible. I love flat rice noodles and they had the distinct char that you would get from wok cooking. Loved that. The flavors overall weren't bad. Just again, underwhelming and lacked a good balance of flavors. I would have liked more spice, citrus, and umami. We did not care for the creme brûlée duo. The hibiscus one was soooooo intensely sour that it was almost inedible. It was very bright though. The lemongrass one reminded me too much of a savory lemongrass soup that I couldn't enjoy it. Some of the spiel and verbiage that the team had was a little pretentious and awkward. I saw them "kindly" kicking out a table for sitting past their reservation time. I've never ever seen a restaurant do that before. Really not that bad but really not worth the $20-$40 price tags either. I'm open to coming back and trying other dishes. I really think I may have came on a bad night.
