Yes so I ordered from their direct website and when I called and enquired about my order The young man over the phone couldn't find my order and said that I probably ordered via food delivery app.. I DID NOT IM VERY CAPABLE OF ORDERING FOOD. Finally after 5 minutes he found my order and it was already done I told him why didn't he just check the name. He was clueless. Also, HE TOLD ME MAYBE I ORDERED FROM ANOTHER CHEN WOK SINCE THERE IS SO MANY IN THE VALLEY. again I think I know what location I ordered from. Once he found the meal which was already done being cooked as we were talking he didn't apologize or say anything. In addition it was a $60 order not just one plate. I normally do the vegetable chop suey which is very good. Inexpensive standard Chinese food. I took awhile to write this review cause the experience still sits with me. I went in after working in office, I didn't want to cook so I'll do Chinese vegetable chop suey and loved their egg rolls. I'm big on restaurants you can see kitchen. As they are preparing and then packaging my food a huge sewer roach walks up the side near where the stove is. Sir I need refund and point to the roach. He takes towel swats at it and says sewer roach they come in. He does the refund. So let's give some feedback yes anyone can run into this issue. If this is an issue in your area you call the city they will come and do pest control for the sewer. In addition you must take internal measures to prevent critters from entering your business. There is also pest control you must do. I haven't been back. While customer service was always nice, I'M GOOD. read more

First time stopping in for lunch. We ordered the sweet & sour shrimp, curry chicken, orange chicken and crab puffs. The crab puffs were fantastic! The curry was good, maybe a tad more curry flavor and salt, but over it was tasty. The staff was very friendly. My wife DoorDashed this for dinner last night and I didn't get to try it till next morning cause I work the night shift. And let me tell you hands-down, the best takeout Chinese food I've had in a long while! Chicken dumplings were amazing, and the eggrolls still crispy after reheating them, which is insane! Subpar, borderline mediocre americanized Chinese food. Lo mein is flavorless. Everything is overly and heavily salted. A few years ago, the prices were very reasonable and good for the amount of food. I get that the world, the economy, and the overall cost of business has changed. So price hikes are TO BE EXPECTED. But, while we are generally ok with paying more because of these reasons, the expect the portion size to remain the same. Isn't that the reason you're charging us more? This place has really gone downhill. When I first started going here in 2018 the food was very good, especially their egg rolls were like real NY egg rolls except they were chicken instead of pork, but still they were excellent. This is the third time they changed their egg roll and now the inside ingredients no longer look like vegetables and chicken pieces but a mushy mixture of junk. My wife's BBQ sliced pork was dry, my BBQ pork fried rice was mushy and dry, egg rolls in-editable. My Mushu Pork was decent but we are never going to go here again. read more

There isn't a single thing we don't like here! Crispy noodles aren't on the menu but you can still order them. Kung pao chicken, friend wontons, egg rolls, chow mein and fried rice are still the best since we used to go to the one in Glendale in the 90s. This place really has gone down hill. We ordered about a month ago from this place and it was spectacular. Then we ordered the same exact items yesterday and it was terrible. I'm not sure if they have a new cook, but that person needs to go. The kung pow chicken was not kung pow chicken. Idk what it was. It had no peanuts, no peppers , no onions. It was just barely spiced chicken. And it was chewy and fatty chicken. The Mongolian beef was even worse than the chicken and missing ingredients too. It was so chewy, I couldn't even chew it or eat it. Disgusting! What a waste! It was missing the green onions too. The veggie lo mein was awful too. Plain, no sauce, no flavor, no veggies. It was just boiled noodles. Dry and hard. Same with the veggie fried rice. Which last time was spectacular! It was juicy and had broccoli, onions, carrots, peas, eggs, this time it was literally just fried rice and eggs. Dry as hell. The only item we liked this time was the egg rolls. For $65 I'm pretty disappointed. We won't be ordering from here again. Too much inconsistency and poor quality meats. read more

It's hit or miss. Today I went with coworker since we were nearby. I ordered the spring rolls and Mongolian beef lunch special. Total came into $11 without a drink. This is the worst Chinese food I have ever had. Ever! The Lo Mein was mushy and flavorless. No vegetables to be seen. The meat seemed to be boiled. I got a box of mushy noodles with flavorless sauce. Covid finally caught me. I am suffering and in dire need of hot and sour soup and a few other items to get me through the next couple of days. Around 3pm I placed an order for delivery online. This being my first time ordering from Chen & Wok, I was unaware that their delivery service starts at 4:30. Shortly after I placed my order I received a phone call from a lovely woman telling me that they got the order but it wouldn't be delivered until around 4:45, and she wished me a speedy recovery. She also asked if I would like some sweet and sour sauce for my crab puffs. I am so appreciative of the extra mile she took, just a few kind words. It arrived on time and HOT. The soup is DELICIOUS! Chen & Wok has theeeeeee most incredibly delicious food ever!!!!! It is like heaven in your mouth!!!!! Orange chicken, Egg Foo Young, Noodles are super fat with the perfect amount of sauce on them!!! (You can ask for noodles instead of white rice with your entrees!) Other favs are House Fried Rice add water chestnuts crab puffs and their soups are phenomenal!!!!!
