I placed a pickup order and upon arrival I was a little early to pick up so I waited in the front, while I'm waiting the hostess is looking/standing around (thinking she would go check on the status of my order since I'm inside waiting) but no that didn't happen...No big deal, but after waiting well after my pickup time my food was finally ready. (I literally ordered a yogurt bowl....which shouldn't take that long to put together.) but when I opened my bag the container was very dirty as if they got it out of the trash, my yogurt literally has 4 pieces of fruit in it which was extremely disappointing not the mention that the pineapple was rotten. This place is always super busy and the kitchen is slow but the food is so worth it. Had avocado toast and a side of million dollar bacon. Did not disappoint, the avocado is so fresh and the lemon just adds such a pop of flavor. Hubby had the frittata of course, he's from Rome, and he really enjoyed it. Added breakfast potatoes and he was a very quiet happy diner. Only downside is they don't have an espresso machine so no cappuccino or lattes. And no just regular black tea. This is a great new breakfast/lunch place in the neighborhood. They are open from 7-2:30 each day. We stopped in on New Year's Eve right after opening time, so they were not busy since it's really still a holiday week. Service is friendly. My egg white omelet from the "healthy" side of the menu had a good flavor, something that can be lacking with egg whites. It has feta cheese which is a strong flavored cheese so that helps. It could have had a little more turkey. Texture was great, nice and fluffy. The whole grain toast was good and thick. I know it's a "healthy" plate but some butter for the toast would have been nice. Good fresh tomatoes on the side. Maybe offer fruit also? The "holey donuts" were seriously delicious. We only ate a few and saved the rest for later. Bonus points for giving us a cardboard to go box instead of the usual styrofoam and giving us fresh sauces (chocolate, cream anglaise, and raspberry). Husband ordered the "trifecta" which had two eggs (cooked perfectly over easy, he said), chicken sausage and a whole grain pancake. Service is always great. I like the ambience and seasonal drinks / foods. It is on the pricey side, which I get because it's a local business. The reason it gets 4 stars instead of 5 is simply this: we have been here a many times, and I've noticed (with the deciding factor being our last visit) that they are, in fact, giving smaller and smaller portions. One example: the million dollar bacon (that comes in 4 strips) looks noticeably smaller of what it used to be. If a single strip used to be 100%, the newer portion is 70% of that. It was very obvious to me and my wife. And some of the prices of the food have gone up too. Word of advice for the business: If you have to cut costs, either increase your prices or decrease the portion-sizes, but DO NOT do both simultaneously. That's the FASTEST way to make a regular consider going somewhere else. read more

Finally!!! An amazing brunch place very close to Bedford with a nice ambiance. My GF and I came to First Watch on a weekday for brunch and although it was quite busy, we were quickly seated. The staff here is very kind and helpful. We got some great suggestions from our waitress and ended up ordering an iced chai cider (make sure to request light ice). For entrees, I went with the steak and egg hash while she got the BLT Benedict. The cider was very refreshing and had warm tones of cinnamon spread throughout the drink. It felt like you were drinking a cup of Autumn. In regards to the entrees, the steak and egg hash was a great value because the portion was huge and there was a good amount of steak. The steak was cooked to a nice medium and it was tender throughout. The hash also came with 2 eggs that can be cooked in any style, so I got both eggs sunny-side up. I really enjoyed the fact that both the yolks were nice and runny! Unfortunately, the hash was very salty, and while I do like salt, it was a bit overwhelming for me. If they could dial it down on the seasoning and salt, then this dish would have been perfect. If you're looking for an entree that is not too salty, then get the BLT Benedict. The hollandaise sauce is well seasoned and pairs nicely with the egg and crispy bacon. Sadly, one of the poached eggs came exploded and deflated. (Tip: You can sub out the mixed greens for potatoes at no extra charge!) Overall, First Watch is a great addition to Glade Parks and gives the community a great place to gather for brunch. Trying a brunch place near me. It's in a shopping area development that I frequent often. Now, it's Sunday noon and there are people inside but no wait. I really no longer have the patience for hype up brunch places. Otherwise I would rather cook some eggs at home. So its a plus for no wait here. Usually get an omelette and biscuit with sausage gravy at any brunch place. The omelet was kind of dry and not fluffy. Got the chile chorizo and not chorizo or filling. It came with some greens on the plate bur no dressing. Kinda weird for omelet to come with greens. My biscuit and sausage gravy was good with plenty of sausage bits. Not sure if it's worth $6. We ordered the elevated egg sandwich and the million dollar bacon the 1st round was burnt (black) and I was very confused why someone plated it and garnished it and then our server gave it to us We sent it back 2nd round round was partially burnt and was taken back 3rd round Jeremiah I believe was the managers name came out explaining that this is the way it is because it's cooked in the oven so we could keep it or it would be removed from our check Of course we chose to Remove it . Good morning. Yes, even though we are in the middle of what might seem as post apocalyptic events I believe we should say "Good Morning". My family drove up to Dallas/Fort Worth to visit some family in the area and stayed a night in Euless. The hotel wasn't serving breakfast due to the horrendous secret enemy....Dun Dun Duuuun "The Corona Virus"! So we walked over to First Watch and added out name to the wait list. It wasn't more than 7 minutes and a table had been found, properly cleaned and sanctified, blessed, steamed, and wiped down for our meal. The four of us sat down and a pot of fresh coffee was quickly served along side a glass carafe of filtered water. Our menus were out ad the family chose an omelette, a chickenchanga, a classical 2 egg and biscuit meal and a side of Holey doughnuts. Yes, if you follow my posts you probably already figured out that I was the one with the classical 2 egg and biscuit meal and yes, I asked for gravy. Lamentably, all they had was turkey gravy but I wasn't going to get weird on them just because they couldn't get the proper "Texas-Aproved" ingredients right. Along with the biscuits and gravy, I asked for the sunny side up eggs a little runny. In my opinion this is the basic breakfast and the measure of a good breakfast restaurant. We had only spoken about the decor, the current mask requirements being forced on us by the State government, and how we all slept last night and the food was served. Super fast. My eggs were on point and there were no crusty edges to them. The biscuit was served open faced and toasted but somehow that didn't bother me. (I would have liked to have known that, that was how it was served, but it wasn't a big deal. I added my turkey gravy to the top of the biscuit and dug in. My meal tasted fresh and delicious. I was more than pleased. I heard no complaints from the other members of the family, and since I wasn't offered a bite I will assume it was too good to share. lol The holey doughnut were good but not out of this world. The waitress, Natalie, said that they the restaurant didn't fry anything so I assume they were baked. They were oily and they didn't have the same presentation as they did on the menu..i.e. there wasn't enough powdered sugar on ours. But they tasted good and the two dipping sauces were "ok" too. Coffee was great. Very slim pickings if you want a traditional breakfast. Seems they try too hard to be a healthy alternative. Not for me. Mine was ok, eggs with ham and potatoes. Said they came with onions, I couldn't find any. English muffin was cold and hard and without a doubt the worst I ever had. Prices a bit in the high side but what got me was charging tax separate on everything we ordered. Never saw that before. Service was very good and friendly. First Watch is everything you could want from a hipster-ish breakfast place. The menu has a little bit of everything, the first being avocado toast of course, and the specials are a nice treat. I went with a Morning Meditation (mixed juice drink) and an A.M. Superfoods Bowl. Both were absolutely excellent and a wonderful, clean start to my day. The juice was just delicious, plain and simple (though I suggest asking them to go easy on the ice), and the bowl was tasty, along with the accompanying bread with peanut butter and salt. Oh! And the bacon! I nearly forgot about the bacon! It was an appetizer of bacon drizzled in syrup and cayenne pepper... amazing (wish it were a bit thicker cut though...). All-in, this, along with the friendly service, was a very enjoyable little meal. I left feeling content, full (not stuffed), and not too light in the wallet. We were there at about 8:30a on a Sunday and there really wasn't a crowd. However, when we left about an hour later, it was wall-to-wall. I suspect the church crowd fills in quickly. After waiting, we placed our orders and the waitress brought out two wet/dirty water glasses .. there was still food stuck to the side of it. She apologized and got us new ones. They were still wet and still had a weird chemical smell from the wash but the water tasted fine. It was hard to drink out of the glass with that chemical smell. We waited an HOUR before our food came out and we ordered the half/half 1) veggie melt with broccoli cheddar soup 2) salad with tomato soup And it took an hour to get a salad and a soup and half a sandwich!? The veggie melt and salad were good but nothing too amazing you get anywhere else. Maybe our food was sitting out because our soups were warm rather than hot. A waitress came by and asked if my sister was done with her soup so she could clear her plate, but she was still eating so the waitress left and then five mins later our waitress came by and grabbed her plate without even asking if she was done -.- there goes her soup. We were busy chit chatting but it would be nice if she had asked if she was done with her food. Overall, we did not have a good experience. I really wanted to love this place since we need a breakfast brunch place in the neighborhood... but it was rather a sad experience. The day we went in it was an hour and a half before closing. We knew they would close shortly so we placed our order immediately and went with basics. I ordered the eggs Benedict... It took 30-40 minutes for the food to come out. Yikes. As I cut the first muffin I noticed the eggs were cooked completely through. I asked for them to send out two more... 10 minutes later they came out in a small bowl and were sitting in water... Stopped in this location for a late lunch, around 1:30 on a Sunday. Seated after a 20 minute wait, and promptly asked to sit outside because the interior was absolutely stifling, there was no way we could have stayed inside and enjoyed our meal with that heat. Took a while for our waiter to get to our table, after 10 minutes when I was about to go back inside to flag someone down, he finally came out. Once he got there service was pretty good. Items ordered were the ham and gruyere sandwich, roast beef and havarti sandwich and the farmhouse skillet with over easy eggs. All were good, I wouldn't say fabulous, but good. While we enjoy the First Watch menu, this location has never felt as friendly or well-managed as the NRH location. We were told there was a "short wait" for seating on Saturday morning at 10:30, which we expected on the weekend. After waiting 20 minutes, we were told at the table that the kitchen was behind and there was an additional wait. We waited an additional 30 minutes for our food after ordering. It was clear our server was stressed and we could see many other tables waiting on food for a long time. We never saw a manager working the dining room or checking on guests during the long wait. We assume they were expediting food in the kitchen instead of supporting servers and cleaning staff out front. Tables sat dirty while guests lined up at the front, and no one seemed to be interacting with diners. They were too stressed. We love the food, but we are going back to the NRH location--even though it is farther away. They are busy on the weekends, too, but the staff seems better supported and less stressed out. read more
