If I'm in a town where there's a Waffle House, I am there! I like how all of the Waffle Houses look the same, and I really enjoy sitting at the bar. This is one of my all time favorite places for breakfast. All the servers and staff are super friendly. The entire kitchen is within your view, and I think the cooks are pretty amazing at their job and have fast and efficient they are. The prices on the menu doesn't get any better than this. The $12 breakfast deal gets you a whole waffle, breakfast meat (in my case, I got 3 slices of bacon), hashbrowns (or grits), toast, and two eggs. A huge portion for only $12! I live in the Euless area, this is one of the best waffle house I've been to. All the food was perfect. Everything was fresh and hot. The coffee with fresh. And the people working here are always so kind and polite. The one guy who makes all the food makes the food perfectly, never overly cooked never undercooked. What can I say, I'm already a Waffle House fan, but this is a really nice location inside and out. We stopped in for breakfast on Thanksgiving morning and they were pretty busy, but as usual, kept the orders flying. This little establishment is doing as best as it can with COVID procedures - the staff is enforcing social distancing and doing some serious sanitizing between customers. There may be a bit of a wait. The food was consistent Waffle House - and the options you could get before for your hash browns are still there - even though the menu only shows three or four. I got my hash browns smothered, capped, peppered, chopped, and I think covered. All the ways that are bad for me in one mound of deliciousness. The waitress talked me into getting some eggs and toast, as well, which were made to perfection. The eggs were buttery and golden - the toast was also crunchy and slightly buttered down. We love Waffle House, but the service today was awful. We came here with our kids and since there's not a hostess, you awkwardly wait your turn. Once a table became available, we went ahead and sat down before the table was bused. Since it had been a while and no one seemed to notice us/there was no one bussing tables, I asked if someone could help. Instead of getting help, the girl told me we shouldn't have sat down since the table hadn't been cleaned. I mentioned no one told us and she came over to my family frustrated. Service was not the best! The waitress was not very helpful, she didn't bring waters all around, when I asked for water, I never received it. She had negative energy. If you get that Rona, you did not get it here. You got it elsewhere. Okay so they flubbed the grits. Good, yes, but not even luke warm. Why? Well that part of my order came out about 3 minutes before the sausage. With food, timing matters. I ordered a whole meal. Send it out when it's complete so I get to eat when it hits the table. For me, a perfect fork has a smidgen of sausage dipped in the grits, then a bite of eggs and toast follows. Yes. For me flavor is about blending bites. I cook my butt off. I have grits, eggs, 4 types of sausage, eggs, and sour dough right in my house. I drove here for convenience, and to be out of the house so please, prep the food hot and well worth that drive. Both flavor and temp matter. Service was the champion though. At Waffle House, that is a matter of management picking star quality people. You aren't selling food. We have food if we can afford to eat out. You are selling smiles. Sometimes the only smile a patron might see that day or week. This location? Smiles from door to door. I had a horrible experience today at the Waffle House me and my family set at four different tables. The table that I was sitting at we never received our drink order. Everybody else did we waited longer than everybody else other people that was with us already have their food was already done with their food. We were still waiting for our food that we never received it took a long time. The bacon they brought out was overcooked It was burnt. We had to send it back. Everybody food came out piece by took forever to get certain items. But everybody at my table had received their waffle, and I still didn't have my waffle at all. I had ordered a blueberry waffle. Finally, somebody from the other table, which was in my family had told them that I never received my waffle. when they finally got me a waffle. It was the original one and I had asked for the blueberry one.. I asked them to put it in the to go container they did that, but I wish I would've opened it before I left Waffle House because I came home to an undercook doughy waffle. It's not even eatable I'm not happy at all, and I had already paid for everything even though I still haven't received my waffle. I also paid for somebody else so the bill in total was $30 and I just feel like i should've been discounted. Nobody ever apologize or anything. It was just a horrible experience. It was literally nobody inside of the waffle house. We were the only ones basically in there at the time the service was just horrible. We noticed that they had Halloween decorations hanging which we thought was cool until we noticed how terribly dirty the ceiling was. You can't beat a good simple breakfast that is completely cooked in butter. If you're a health nut,looking for good service, or want a fine dinning experience this is not the place for you. The 2am crowd is usually drunk, drugged, or just the late night loaner. (This makes for some great people watching.) Waffle House is unique and has a unique crowd. You know what, I underestimated this place and I'm happy I gave in and tried it out. I had family pay me a visit and they wanted Waffle House, I tried to talk them out of it, but they didn't listen and I'm happy they didn't. I had their blueberry waffle, with the usual sides. She could have been polite and sympathetic that we just drove across town in the snow and encouraged us to come back, but she felt it was appropriate to yell at us across the restaurant Back to Old West we go. This is just like any other Waffle House. Breakfast food is cheap and it tastes good. The service here can be hit or miss. I haven't had any problems here but it is not spectacular. Strange, but this location can be quite busy early on the weekend. The food will be greasy and some what bland but it is nothing that hot sauce cannot cure. I always get the hash browns with chili. So we were in the area before we headed home. We're from Lubbock. My girlfriend and I came here for breakfast, our experience was amazing from start to finish. Our hostess was Nancy, she is the sweetest old woman ever! It really got me irritated when another couple came in and tried to argue with her about how certain tables were closed due to the capacity limit. But Nancy kept her cool the whole time and just smiled to them as she continued to clean off tables. Our server was Brittany and she was top notch! I love going there to watch the "fine-tuned machine." They're amazing how they crank out incredibly delicious breakfasts!
