The dish I got you can get a range of proteins I just opted for the bacon. So good the eggs and bacon were amazing. Will definitely come back if I'm in the area. Oh the service was very kind as well. Ambiance was pretty relaxing. Like I said very kind servers. Will return when in the area read more

I love the food here. I'm a breakfast girl and love to try local breakfast spots. I went to breakfast with my family and I got the pork chops breakfast which I absolutely loved. The pork chops were nice and flavorful. Here lately, I have been on a biscuit kick and OMG! Bacons has some really yummy biscuits. Funny thing is, I ordered a biscuit and they had run out for the day and had to cook more and they told me it would be like 15 minutes and I will tell you, it was totally worth the wait. Can't wait to go back to try one of their coffee drinks and a mimosa! read more

Such a cute home style dinner. We came on a Sunday and it was packed. We had to wait a little but it's ok. That's how I know a place is good. I wish they had a Yelp check in or a text you when your table is ready. Service was amazing. I don't remember our servers name but I believe it was Jennifer. She was a sweetheart! She was in a positive upvibe mood although it was super busy she was still super attentive. Food was good! A lot of things are made from scratch which is always so nice. It definitely had a lot of flavor like I was eating at someone's house. The decor is so nice. Like a home breakfast and the bathroom was really cute like a boutique. read more

I was an hour early for an appointment, so I looked online for nearby restaurants. What a stroke of luck it was to have chosen Bacon's Bistro. It's a family operated restaurant with friendly staff and great food. I was able to get my breakfast with one of my hard to find favorites, marble rye toast. As plates were being delivered to other tables I got a glimpse of their biscuits, they are huge! The country potatoes are delicious and come with grilled peppers and onions - no up charge. This isn't my part of the metroplex, but I will definitely make a point of coming back. read more

We stopped in for breakfast on our way to an errand and it was a great place to go. It's almost an hour away but it was worth the drive. I had the biscuits & gravy. The biscuits were absolutely the best. My husband liked the biscuit also. The staff was friendly. The inside was cute. We will visit again! read more

I haven't been to Bacon's in about a decade so was glad to be back today! Went around 1030 on Saturday and it surprisingly wasn't packed (I'm used to line out the door during prime time which has contributed to the length of time since I've eaten there). We enjoyed our breakfasts! I splurged for something different and got the Chicken Fried Chicken with egg breakfast. You get a juicy chicken fried chicken that comes with breakfast potatoes (with a little onion & green pepper), 2 eggs served your way, with choice of toast or biscuit. I got the biscuit and it was delicious! I liked everything about my dish including the gravy and side of salsa (that was good on bites of potatoes and egg). My Mom loved her 3 egg omelette with hash browns & a biscuit. Your choice of 4 ingredients for your omelette and can add more for a small fee. She got ham, mushrooms, spinach & cheese. It was stuffed full! They have breakfast all day and plenty of lunch options to choose from. Easy parking. Timely service. read more

Early morning flights, always lead to breakfast delight! After a morning of early travels, I landed back in DFW in search for some breakfast viddles. Given my schedule took me towards downtown FW, I located Bacon's not too far from the airport. Tucked away in a shopping center, Bacon's exterior doesn't scream at you, however once you open the doors you'll understand for yourself. It's not the over the top, fancy breakfast spot, it's a place reminiscent of a family style dining room. Greeted by staff at the door, you'll feel at home in no time. The menu has plenty of you breakfast favorites at a very reasonable price and portions are plentiful. Considering I was bit hungry at a 7am flight, I loaded up on protein and carbs, with the Three Egg Pan Omelette, Blueberry Pancake, w/hash browns. The omelette was stuffed big enough, I didn't finish it. Pancake wise, I was wishing for something a little bit more flavorful, however the fresh blueberries cooked within did the job. Not to mention the segafredo coffee was a fantastic! Overall, Bacons didn't disappoint, the atmosphere staff and establishment are definitely worth a try. read more

We stopped and Bacon's as we passed through the area. I'm so glad we did! The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious! We all (5 of us) had a a great experience and have added Bacon's to our list of places to come back to. It was a Sunday morning and they were BUSY, but the service we got was personable and not rushed at all. Coffee refills were quick, food came fresh and hot, and no one seemed to feel rushed despite the crowd. Everyone got treated as if we were their only customers. Ok, I just happen to be passing through Hurst. I came across this place searching for a good breakfast spot. Honestly I chose it solely based off of the reviews. It's a small quaint, cozy place, not too big or small. The other customers were pleasant and friendly. However the best thing about this place was my server, Jessica. She was very thorough. Knowing that I was a 1st timer made me comfortable and was filled with recommendations. Based off her recommendation, I chose the Spinach and Artichoke Quiche. The crust was flaky and had a perfect balance of ingredients. Learning that I had a pineapple allergy, Ms Jessica had my fruit bowl adjusted accordingly. Kudos to Jessica for great service, above and beyond. In addition, the ladies restroom was very clean and nostalgic. Although this is quite the drive from Mansfield, I will be visiting again in the near future. read more

Another fantastic brunch at Bacon's. I tried the eggs Benedict... oh my word. Absolutely amazing. I ordered the half order, and quickly realized my error. Our server Pepe was attentive and accommodated my request to change to the "full order." The ambience can be louder on the weekends than the weekdays, but it was enjoyable and fun. The food is fresh and made to order, so it is not "quick," but we enjoy the wait and rest assured that the food is freshly made. read more

Got whipped cream and caramel drizzle on top. It was like a dessert. I really enjoyed the meal and the service. The restaurant was clean. And parking was easy. read more

Server She did not say her name. Makes me wonder about the quality of service she provides. She said her name is Jennifer. She was informing and nice, but not welcoming. She returned a couple times, even though busy, to check on us. Ambiance It's a breakfast lunch diner/coffee shop type restaurant. This place is usually busy, per the door staff, especially on weekends. So plan accordingly. We only waited about 10 minutes. Food The coffee is good, not great. Has a good aroma with a nutty after taste that lingers for a short time. The 3 egg omlet with turkey sausage and pepper jack cheese was wonderful. Quite full of flavor. The chicken fried chicken and eggs was light and airy and tasted great. The fried potatoes were hot, crisp, and well seasoned. Overall We were not greeted nor welcomed even after telling our server. This is our first time here. Apparently, there is a story about being family owned, etc. Would have been nice to hear. The food here is very good. The service was okay. Would have been nice to have some additional napkins. We just might come back next time we're in the area. 4 stars for the very good food Military Nope only active duty. But it changed to yes after she saw i write reviews for yelp. Lol read more

We like to visit for breakfast or lunch, everytime we're in town. It's a very friendly place. Doesn't take long to feel like you're a regular here. The food and the whole restaurant has a home town feeling. The staff is as good as any 5 Star restaurant. The best part is you don't have to contend with 5 Star egos, or prices. Eating here is like going home and getting exactly what you want. They'll take you no matter how you dress, so give them a little extra tip, they're worth it! read more

Laid back older crowd dining experience. All food was made to order and tasty. There is sometimes a wait but the staff is always helpful.

Cannot believe I didn't find this place sooner. My boyfriend is from Alabama, and this reminded me of being in his mom's kitchen and eating her breakfast. You can tell everything is cooked with love and care. The biscuits..... if I had one meal left on earth, I would ask for these biscuits. Combined with a salty meat and some cheese, it's game over and I'm in love. It has a cute homey diner-ish vibe on the inside that is so adorable. It's full of families and couples, just an overall great feel when you're dining. And, our server Pepe was AMAZING. Just amazing, I would ask for him again and again. This is by far the best breakfast/brunch place. We have tried many but none can compare. I have had just about everything on the menu. It's all so tasty. The breakfast chicken fried steak with country potatoes is our #1 favorite. The most recent dish is Shrimp & Grits. The shrimp is cooked to perfection. It has jalapeños, green onions, bacon, and bbq sauce. We asked to have fried eggs added & a side of bacon which is 3 slices. This hearty dish comes with a biscuit and is perfect on a cold morning. It is a limited time meal so go in the month of November to get it! All of the wait staff here are friendly, efficient, thorough, and work together as a team. Great job owners in training your staff so well. We have a favorite waiter but I'm not sharing his name. He has too many fans as it is! read more

Had breakfast here and the food & service were really good. I had the Rooftop and DH had the breakfast wrap. Enjoyed the biscuit too. Really good & would return here again. The homemade salsa was a nice touch. I would encourage the mgt to up their coffee game. Did not order a specialty coffee, just the regular coffee which was meh (really weird flavor) & their amazing food deserves to be paired with a better coffee esp when so many of us are used to high quality coffee. read more

Decent breakfast but not too many healthier options. The restaurant seems to go back and forth between two locations (one across the street & this one)...we've been to both but this may recent trip was that great. We came by on Father's Day weekend and it wasn't super busy. The wait wasn't too bad either. In terms of the food, it's pretty typical American style breakfast (read: lots of carbs). I was trying to find a lighter, healthier option and didn't have much luck outside of 1 egg whites meal. They do have Turkey sausage and bacon, which is a plus. The best part were the biscuits- those things are amazing. I was also a bit bummed they didn't have mimosas even though they showed up on Yelp as a brunch spot. read more
