I came to Green Nest Cafe on a whim and was pleasantly surprised. My drink was tasty, the staff was friendly, and the place has a very cute aesthetic. I only gave 4 stars because the WiFi password was not readily available and it is a rather small space. I noticed people were bottlenecking trying to figure out where to stand in line since it was busy and I saw several people standing without a place to sit while their drinks were made. I came here to catch up with a friend on a weekday afternoon, and it was very full inside. There was really only one or two tables available due to many people working on laptops. It was also completely silent inside which was interesting to me and it made it difficult to have a conversation at a regular volume, but maybe the vibes were just off that day. The staff was friendly. I ordered a honey latte (my usual at most coffee shops) and it was just okay. The color was a little off, and for the price of a local coffee shop it's always disappointing when the quality doesn't match the price. read more

I love hojicha lattes. So want to come try here after seeing on fb. It is very beautiful and aesthetically pleasing inside with plenty of seatings. I came here on a Friday afternoon and plenty of people were here. The ladies taking my order was nice, no issues. My drink, however, was very disappointing. I tried their iced mango coconut hojicha latte. I even had less mango puree/syrup. It was still incredibly sweet. But the flavors just do not go together it seems. I drank 1/4 of it and brought it home for my husband to finish. He could not drink it at all. So there goes $7 down the drain. When I checked my receipt, it did seem like they charged a bit extra from the menu pricing but it was 20-25 cents so I didn't go back. Not worth it. But I'm wondering if they do that for other customers transactions. Showing one price on their menu and then charging more during check out. If a friend wants to come here to try, I'll be willing to try something else from the menu. For $7/drink, I do think my friends would rather go get boba though. The atmosphere is nice here for friends or working online. I also wonder if they're co owned by mighty chick. There was a menu directly out front directing to go try mighty chick. read more

Their matcha is really good. I'm a self-proclaimed matcha snob, so I'm always curious to see what new cafes' matcha tastes like. They blended the matcha really well, and even when I mixed the milk, you could still taste the strong earthiness of the matcha powder. I got the strawberry matcha latte, which was delicious. The strawberry syrup was definitely made in house, and it was such a nice balance to the creamy milk and bitter matcha. It's a beautiful cafe, and it's very popular! There were tons of people sitting inside and chatting when I visited. I also got their Italian sandwich, which was okay. I wish they had their avocado toast available, but I came around 3PM and they've stop serving breakfast at noon. If I'm ever in the area, I would definitely come back again! read more

A nice little coffee shop tucked way near a strip mall. The service was nice, one of the most beautiful lattes I've ever had. The pesto chicken sandwich tasted amazing. Plenty of parking spots. I'm sensitive to caffeine but love matcha so I asked for less matcha for my Snow Berry Latte and it was so good. I usually prefer less sweet but the drink actually needed more. The scone was one of my favorites. Cakey and just sweet enough. Most places have hard scones like rocks and tastes too sugary. Came back to try the Hojicha Mango Coconut 9/10. The food overall was good, but there were definitely some misses. The drinks were not good at all and tasted like they used store-bought syrup instead of anything fresh or house-made. I ordered the bulgogi bowl and it had potential, but the greens should've been cooked more, and it needed more meat and egg for the portion to feel balanced. The tiramisu itself tasted good, but unfortunately it was basically melted by the time I got to eat it because no silverware was provided the entire meal. Two different people said they were going to bring utensils, but they never did, so I spent the whole meal waiting and couldn't even properly eat dessert until the end. read more

This was the closest matcha shop to my church so I've been wanting to try especially since they also have hojicha! To my disappointment, the matcha flavor did not come through the milk and the flavor in the strawberry matcha wasn't as bright and refreshing as the one I make from scratch at home. The matcha was also not made traditionally and the last sip of my drink had a clump of bitter matcha that hadn't been whisked into the water properly. new found fav! this is my second time at green nest cafe:) My first visit i got the matcha cloud iced tea latte, and this time i got the most popular item the strawberry matcha latte. I wanted to start with something i personally wanted to try the most, thennnnnn try what was getting the most hype! Matcha cloud review: 8/10 really good! The only "con" was that i felt it was a bit on the milky side. The vanilla/coconut flavor was really smooth and creamy though so i think that on top of the milk made it too "milky" for me! It really hid the matcha flavor as well, so maybe next time i'll ask for less milk to balance it out :) also, i finished it 100% and it was delicious! Strawberry matcha review: 11/10!!! wow. i usually am not a strawberry matcha flavored girl at all. like at all. but this one has converted me. It's not artificial tasting, the strawberry puree is just the right amount of sweetness, and also the presentation was BEAUTIFUL. The strawberry flavor doesn't get lost when mixed all together with the milk and matcha. i really really reallyyyyy love this one, my new staple!!! Inside: super cute and cozy:) There's lots of space for bigger and smaller groups, or just single spots if you're alone (me). Lots of people here come to study, work, hang out and do things like homework or simply just talk. It's really casual and they have some nice lofi jazz that plays throughout the cafe as well. Staff: the staff is so helpful and kind! they helped me decide what drinks i probably enjoy and walked me through all the other menu items. They offer things like fresh baked goods, milk alternatives, non dairy cold foam, gluten free bread, and sugar free syrups! They also sell breakfast until noon. The payments options are great too, they take card obviously but also apple pay, card tap, and they have their own rewards system set up on the card reader as well to earn some points! Overall: Although i only tried drinks so far, they do have some delicious sounding food available! The drinks i give a 9/10 so far (will report back after i've tried others lol) and the ambience is 10/10! staff as well:) Also, if you're a matcha lover but don't want all the caffeine / prefer a more roasted/nutty flavor, they also have hojicha!!! We were looking for a new place to eat after church today and found this place on YELP. It's in an out-of-the-strip center....an unassuming spot. When you first go in, it feels like a coffee shop. The dining space is very limited - tiny tables (all two-tops) and half of them were taken up by "coffee shop campers". The two sandwiches we had were surprisingly good - the pesto chicken and the spicy jelly ham & cheese. The chips came in the tiniest little sack ever. Tiny little water cup, tiny side of pickles. Everything just seemed too "dainty" for me. The food is fresh and flavorful, but it still feels much more like a coffee shop than a "real" restaurant. read more

So excited that there's finally a good cafe in the area with quality tea and coffee! The interior is beautiful and has plenty of seating if you're meeting up with someone for coffee and very cute decor. There's even hanging swing chairs that make for a nice photo moment. The owners are so sweet and delightful - they also own Mighty Chicken Sando a few doors down (which is also amazing - must try!) The cafe has fun flavors like matcha strawberry, ube latte, and tiramisu. The coffee quality is amazing also and tastes great, and it's not too sweet or overpowering. They have cookies but seems like food is also coming soon if you wanted to come grab a quick bite. Will definitely be back often - new go to spot for coffee in the area! read more

I have since this review tried their bulgogi bowl numerous times, all of their scones and cookies, their espresso and matcha tiramisu, their affogato, seasonal drinks, and new drinks that have stayed on the menu like the Dalgona latte. Every single one of these were amazing. Highly recommend any of them. I also tried their holiday menu and got their spicy jam grilled cheese for lunch with a candy cane mocha latte (which originally came as a cold brew but you can get it as a latte as well). Both were delicious. I got a photo of the latte but ate the sandwich before I remembered to take a photo!
