Pjs is a wonderful coffee spot. I stumbled upon this place on my way to the DFW airport. I have had the privilege of trying both establishments near the airport. I will say the coffee was better at the Irving location but overall I would still frequent both for the beignets. Parking and seating is limited but free. Kind of a hit or miss with this place. Sometimes we get the best coffee/matcha ever and then sometimes its just not as sweet or tastes like it wasnt made right. Same with the baristas, there has been times we get wonderful welcoming workers and then others where they look bothered that you even come in. read more

I'm a sucker for anything related to New Orleans, and I love a solid coffee shop. Of course I'm gonna be a fan of PJ's. They might be a big chain but this little shop still feels pretty local. It's a small and comfortable space with housemade pastries and plenty of outdoor seating. I had their seasonal pumpkin cold brew; a bit too sweet for me but still delicious. Next time it's chilly out I'll consider a classic cafe au lait or something over the top but festive like a s'mores latte. read more

The idea of a cute little coffee shop is nice, but I can't seem to find my knack with PJ's. Where I tend to get my frappes and lattes, I'm able to edit them to my liking. At PJ's, I still haven't mastered the variations to fit the taste I'm looking for. I do enjoy their beignets and in the future, I'd love to pick up an order with a hot chocolate or apple cider. When it comes to other drinks, I'll continue to visit my favorite spot. I do believe, their prices are a bit steep for the amount you receive. I've been meaning to try this place and finally had the chance to today. They do have a drive thru so you don't have to get out and go inside if you don't want to. Customer service was friendly and verified small things to make sure I received my order the way I wanted it. I ordered the velvet cream drink with caramel. I love that they have options for people like me who can't have caffeine or cow milk but still want to enjoy a cold creamy drink. They have almond and oat milk options and several other options with no coffee or "joe" as it's listed on their menu. I would definitely be back just to get another velvet cream drink for sure and to try some beignets! Price range is about the same as Starbucks so not too bad but I wouldn't frequent daily as it adds up. read more

PJ's has been on my list for awhile and I'm glad I checked out this coffeeshop. I like the New Orleans inspired menu and colors. I ordered a hot chai tea latte small and a blueberry scone through their drive-thru. The guy who took my order was friendly which added to the pleasant trip to PJ's. The chai tea latte was hot and flavorful, with a good balance of sugar and milk. The blueberry scone was delicious, fresh and dense. For the two items it was close to $8 which seems on par with other coffee shops. I wish this place was closer, however I definitely plan on coming here. read more

I had seen pictures on Facebook for PJ's Coffee and had to try it out myself! We got the cold brew flight and beignets. The cold brew flight included a Granita, a Mocha, a Nitro, and a Latte. They also have a hot brew flight and a mixed brew flight. I loved the Latte and Granita but the Mocha and Nitro were good too. The beignets came out hot and covered in powdered sugar. They were delicious! We went to the Euless location but they do have other locations. I can't wait to come back and try the hot brew flight when Texas finally decides it's fall! read more

Neither of the two employees was happy to be at work when I walked in this morning. Both were unfriendly. The first employee muttered a barely heard hello but kept on working on other things. She didn't say, "I'll be with you in a moment" or "I'm sorry for the wait". If I wasn't craving beignets, I would have left after a few minutes. When she finally takes my order, she ends up making my coffee the way she wanted. Never asked what type of milk or whether I wanted whipped cream. Ultimately, the customer service was severely lacking to the point that I won't likely rexturn. I think I'm gonna have to make beignets at home from now on. read more

My first experience at this dump! I drove to the drive-in window, after waiting for the customer in front of me complete her order, I was told "I'll be with you in just a second." Shortly I placed my order and drove around, positioned my car behind the customer in front of me. After what seemed like 10-13 minutes waiting I moved to the drive-in window and the employee said "What did you have?" Really ? A simple cup of coffee with cream and sugar - the employee said in a very sarcastic tone "Well! We've been busy!" ( Me taking note of the one car parked in front of this place). I! LOVED! THIS! PLACE! I had absolutely no idea what to order, but the staff pointed me towards the iced Zulu coconut mocha and added that coconut lovers best enjoy it with coconut milk. It was a very smooth and somewhat sweet drink. My boyfriend got a hot mocha, which was also amazing. Unfortunately he is a slow drinker so the shots ended up dying in the car (after 20+ minutes, don't worry). Dropped Patrick at the airport this morning so what a perfect time to check out PJ'S coffee! 4 folks behind the counter and extremely obvious only 1 knew what she was doing. I didn't mark down for that though. Everyone has to be new sometime. I ordered the praline & creme latte. Very tasty! Believe it or not I didn't try a beignet. I was told all pastries, etc are made in house so I tried the spinach feta croissant and it was very good. If you want to eat it with a fork be sure to grab a knife also. :) Patio was nice. I tried PJ's on a day off just on a whim. I pulled into the drive-thru expecting the normal coffee shop menu, and was floored when I saw their options! The first thing I saw was pictures of mouth-watering looking sandwiches, next to a very extensive coffee bar menu, with delectable desserts at the bottom. I planned on getting a cup of coffee, I ended up getting 2 sandwiches, a latte, and 2 orders of beignets! My husband and I had all of it for lunch, and it was all just amazing. I haven't had sandwiches that good from a coffee shop in a VERY long time. The beignets were the best part though. Absolutely covered in powdered sugar (as they should be) and fresh, soft, and fluffy. I devoured them with a homemade chocolate espresso ganache, and plan to do so again in the very near future! I went back a few days later to try their regular coffee, and was unsurprised to find it to be delicous. The Christmas roast is a must-try in my book! Also, side note, I love their cups! The artwork on them is beautifu, and brings a smile to my face while I drink their delicious coffee. Another side note, the ladies working there are absolutely precious, and were so sweet! I love the Mardi Gras ambience they have going on at PJs. Their lattes are more on the sweet side leaving behind an interesting taste. However, still a great environment that allows for some good focus work to get done. read more

Definitely gone done hill since opening. They have al lot of great coffee drinks and sandwiches to choose from. I like to go for their beignets. In the past they were great and covered with a ton of powdered sugar. Today I went to order a kid's hot cocoa and beignets. The hot cocoa wasn't a kid's temperature and it took nearly 10 minutes to get the beignets. They do make the beignets when you order them, but it has never taken that long. The beignets were barely powdered and there was no extra sugar in the bag like it used to be. The beignets were the best thing PJ's had going for it. read more

New customer experience... 1) 5 minute wait after an order to receive my coffee & an ADDITIONAL 5 minutes to be handed my cookie. Then they watched me fumble around the sugar 'bar' looking for cream... finally they called me over to hand me a little cup with some cream in it (I asked for cream)... 2) $9 for a medium coffee & a cookie (A medium here is a small everywhere else). A small is some comical child size. The cold brew mocha tastes terrible. I'll admit the cookie was good. What an absolutely terrible system they have at this store. So, so disappointed. First thing I don't drink coffee so there's that. I've been twice now for a morning snack and drink before errands and enjoyed what I got both times. On my first visit I think they had only been open for about 2 weeks. I got a fruit danish and chocolate chip scone plus a green tea latte. Loved the danish and latte. The scone was too dry for my taste. Second visit I got a Chi Velvet Ice which is like a Chi Tea Frappuccino plus a spinach and feta danish. Both great and filling! They have room to seat and hang out, study/work or just eat. The little patio is nice and you can get free WiFi even outside.
