I love Tifa. Been going for 15 + years, when we first discovered it in Agoura hills California. We moved to Texas 4 years ago and I was beyond ecstatic when I found out one was opening near me, a 40 mins drive but I was willing to make the drive. All my past visits to this location have been fine, but tonight was a little disappointing. First thing I noticed was all the barely filled gelato containers. I understand a few but there was enough to catch my attention and not in a good way. The products itself looked disheveled and unappealing. Tifa has always displayed high standards for their products in quality and quantity. Tonight I was sad to see that was lacking. Every time I make the drive here, we stock up and buy multiple quarts. Tonight's purchase displayed lack of training. Employee is sweet and very polite, but I think he could've used a little more training on how to fill these quarts. I'll let the picture do the talking. This was opened as soon as I got into my car. My quart felt much lighter than usual. So I had to put it to the test. This is a cute, little ice cream shop that offers a plethora of sweets from candy to gelato, cookies and macaroons. They also offer beverages. My family and I got two large coffees, two small gelatos, (they also offer medium and large sizes as well), candy and six macaroons. Everything was good.My only complaint is that because we ordered drinks.It probably took us about ten minutes for our order to be complete.But there was only one person working. She was super friendly and allowed us to taste samples since it was our first time there.There's also plenty of seating if you want to eat inside or you can also get your food to go. The parking lot is shared, so you may have to walk a little bit. There are plenty of shops and stores all around this area. We would definitely come back by and check it out. read more

I saw this place pop up on my feed a lot so I decided to try it out. It's cute and clean, organized as well with plenty of sweet treats to try from. The wait along with quality of certain items is why I won't give Tifa 5 stars. One person working all stations on a Sunday afternoon. We waited around for about 15 mins for one couple ahead of us to pay and a family of 4 placing orders. Now for the food: Their macrons were DELISH, but the pistachio one was kinda of chewy? The fruit flavors were nice and buttery soft, the lemon had fresh lemon zest and the raspberry had fresh jelly. I don't know what happened with the pistachio one. The Dubai strawberry didn't really hit for me. The quality of the strawberries was AMAZING, but the Dubai chocolate left a lot to be desired. It just tasted like regular chocolate and for $15, I expected more richness, more silky texture. Once the chocolate cools off, it seems just like hershey's. I do want to try the ice cream! What a great addition to Glade Parks, I love this place. The customer service is excellent and very informative. They not only offer Gelato, they have coffee, pastries, and chocolates. I love the colors they chose for their establishment; they go together so well, and they brighten up the space. I think they're also in the perfect location. There are several eateries in the area, and when the weather is nice, you can take a stroll over to cap off your evening. They are worth a visit, you will not regret it! read more

Everything I've had here has been amazing and flavorful. Even my hubs that isn't a sweet treat fan has begun requesting visits here bc he is in love with the espresso gelato. As soon as I walked in, a sign on the window frame fell off. I picked it up and placed it on the table and let them know, the young man/employee's response was just "okay" very dry and not engaging at all. I already knew what I wanted, so ordering was quick, but there was no friendliness or welcoming energy. After I paid, I even said "thank you" on my way out and didn't get any response. What an absolutely lovely place. The girl behind the counter, the owner, both very nice and helpful. The owner is clearly passionate about good gelato and chocolate. And games to boot! Stopped by this spot to try the Dubai Chocolate that they make there. They didn't have the bar form when we visited but opted for strawberry version they did there. It was great but need to go back to try the bar form. I ended up trying their Mocha (hot) and was in my opinion, hands down possibly the best Mocha I have ever had. I haven't been inside TIFA yet but my parents and grandma have. I have tried their cappuccino and it tasted like it was good quality. It was pretty good! I asked for it with cinnamon powder like I usually do when I order cappuccinos. Their small tiramisu dark chocolate and fig mascarpone gelato were both delicious. I would love to try their signature strawberry rose sorbetto or strawberry balsamic gelato next time too because strawberries are my favorite fruit! I didn't know this place was so close to where my parents and I live. I definitely recommend checking it out. read more

I have been wishing for a fancy chocolates store to pop back up in the mid cities and TIFA has met their need. They have chocolates, gelatos, and some paistries. Along with those they offer some drink options and have a small seating area to enjoy some of your goodies. I shared some chocolates with family members and my personal favorite was a chocolate banana truffle. Staff was outstanding and made sure we tried some gelato before we left, even though we mainly came for the chocolates. I came here to try the Dubai chocolate bar because this was the closest place to get one. The inside was creamy, crunchy, and delicious but the chocolate itself wasn't great. Either they didn't temper the chocolate correctly or they used candy melts (God forbid because they are a chocolate shop). For $16 a bar you would think that that chocolate would be good quality or at least be tempered. I just didn't get that magical snap that one would get with properly tempered chocolate which I think is essential in the Dubai chocolate bar. The service was great, ambiance nice, and they have a lot of yummy looking treats to choose from. I would come back but wouldn't buy this chocolate bar again. read more

Only thing negative I have to say is I have tried at least two other places with way better chocolate strawberry cup... for some reason the kataifi didn't have a good crunch to it. Instead gave off the texture of coconut shavings... sadly we each ate a bite then tried to maybe eat one more but ended up throwing it out half full. They have milk chocolate, dark or white and have a huge assortment of mix ins like cayenne, cardamom, chai, rose, peanut butter- too many to list here, the options are endless. I have driven past this place several times, but never had the opportunity to stop on in. But, today it was different. As soon as we walked in we were promptly greeted by Mr. Vardy, with a warm smile and ready to serve. He told us that that they make their gelato in house as well as the other goodies, i.e. cookies etc. He answered all our questions and gave us samples and they were good. We got a small cup which consisted of two flavors or or choosing, a medium cup of three flavors and waffle cone with two flavors. We got the the strawberry and lemon sorbet, small cup, waffle cone gran cafe and stracciatella and salted caramel, pistachio lemon curd, and Carmel pecan brownie. All the flavors complimented each other and were very creamy and tasty. This place is a hidden gem and very nice. If you're in this neck of the woods come and treat yourself to some delicious gelato, Mr. Vardy is ready to serve you up a scoop or two.
