Pastries are from the New York bakery in Dallas and sell out often. I was lucky to get the sausage roll, double chocolate muffin, and Apple Danish. Kellan was super personable and patient when I was snapping photos and asking 100 questions. I was able to meet one of the students, forgot name (sorry), but he was also fantastic as the first thing I noticed he did was start necessary tasks like cleaning surfaces and refreshing coffee ground trays. As well as the pastries I grabbed a drip coffee. The shop had two flavors: breakfast blend or a pecan. Since I love pecan coffee that is what I ordered and it is delicious. Smells and tastes like praline pecan and is smooth with little acidity. I need this flavor all the time! I'm so happy I stopped by and I look forward to my next visit.

The blueberry wasn't in syrup form, it was a blueberry foam that added the perfect amount of flavor and sweetness. This is something I'd get again, and again. Too many people ruin matcha's with syrup that swims on the bottom, here, not even. Seasonal: White Chocolate Rose Scone I'll admit, I'm not a scone person. The scones I've tried in the past, were hard and flaky and that's what turned me away from there. But this scone was soft and moist, I truly enjoyed every bite. I am now open to trying others, but only at this cafe. Cheddar Chive Biscuit: My favorite. Well, my favorite is their Pepper Jack Jalapeno Biscuit, so this will be my second. I warmed it up and added a touch of butter, OOOHHWEEEE, it more than hit the spot. I can't wait to have one again. With this latest visit, I learned they alternate their biscuits monthly and they have calendars available to remind their patrons. I decided on the strawberry matcha and an avocado toast. The drinks are only one size for cold(20oz) and hot(16oz) drinks and I didn't see an option to adjust sweetness level. The strawberry matcha was not bad, matcha flavor was very light and there was a lot of strawberry foam at the top versus matcha latte at the bottom. Overall not bad but definitely could be stronger. The avocado toast was a nice option to have, but it definitely was not a favorite. The spread tasted like the store bought variety and the combination of everything bagel seasoning and chili flakes was okay but the bread was nothing special. This is a new shop so I'm sure they're still working out the kinks, so I'd recommend trying out the other drinks and bite options. Also, make sure you ask for napkins...
